RP is based in bitterness and the idea that real love doesn't exist between men and women. It absolutely does. This is completely tangential and not contributing to discussion, but it reminded me of this: "Don’t ever kid yourself about loving some one. It is just that most people are not lucky enough ever to have it. Whether it lasts just through today and a part of tomorrow, or whether it lasts for a long life is the most important thing that can happen to a human being. There will always be pe…

I'd escalate rapidly to physical contact and isolation. lol okay, Dennis.

Yeah, what GridReXX is true in my experience as well. I approach only if I'm looking for a fling or a submissive. For anything more I find that if the guy is sexually attracted to me he will have no problems initiating, and if he isn't talking him into it just doesn't work. I've tried.

Wait, what do you mean when you say "male disposability", maybe we're thinking of different things?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/15 11:08 AM
2

This is just speculation, but it seems to me that male disposability is a consequence of females being the reproductive bottleneck - a species simply doesn't need as many males as females. However, that doesn't mean that an individual male will sacrifice himself for the good of the species, it just means he needs to take greater risks to ensure his reproductive success. So I suppose, yes? idk

those with high powered jobs. In my experience, those types of gals love being degraded/dominated in bed To be fair, this is also true for men. I'm a sadist, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of successful/"alpha" guys that are into being slapped around like little bitches, told they are worthless, and choked like cheap whores. Go figure.

They're not doing it for the good of the group, it's a high risk/high reward type of situation - in the event they survive, their social standing would rise and their chances of spreading their seed would go up exponentially. Women reward such behavior. This is also why men go to war when there is no resource shortage.

Intelligence and ruthless ambition are a pretty hot combo, would definitely want to see that in my offspring.

He wasn't born deaf, and while he could compose music, he couldn't play after a certain point - there was a failed performance in 1811 after which he never played again.

Yes, we females are so uppity, thinking we're too good to eat shit. We are standing in the way of everyone's happiness!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/15 02:14 PM
1

We are not in a hunter-gatherer society, and reproductive drives and conditionals for reproductive success evolved much earlier in our evolutionary history so I don't see how that's relevant.

If the mammal sexual urge could be satisfied by just getting females knocked up, humans would not exist. Very close to 100% of females (outside a monastic context) feel emotionally devastated when nothing but a sperm donor is available.

I suppose we are in agreement. If you are so hungry that shit is an option, then the situation for males is more dire than I previously believed. You have my sympathies.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/15 01:41 PM
2

If it was that simple masturbation would sufficiently satisfy the male sexual drive. So basically, if you're feeling frustrated you just need to jerk off more.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/15 01:37 PM

That's like saying it's better to have an option to eat shit than eat nothing.

We obviously have a very different view of this, and the effort I would have to put in to change your mind far exceeds my interest in the subject, so let's agree to disagree. Nice talking to you all the same.

understandable frustration and bitter resentment Well, I understand frustration, but I don't allow myself to develop bitter resentment, it reeks of weakness and I never want to show any weaknesses - just a personal preference.

So are you saying that you've never had men interested in you only until you put makeup on and "pretend" to be someone else? Kinda. I'm dominant, aggressive, and a sadist... basically, I'm more alpha/dark triad than a lot of guys, this is not attractive in a woman unless you package it up really nicely and blunt the edges. Women love me, though, sucks for me that I'm straight. Shy and awkward are feminine traits, makes you seem vulnerable, guys go crazy for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/15 01:00 AM

I have to put on makeup, dress nicely, fix my hair, and alter my personality entirely. It's a pain in the ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 05:51 PM

I have to pretend to be feminine and not weird, men don't like weird. That's hard work, too. It took me a while to figure that one out.

But for the average man/woman, it's much easier for the average woman to be a slut compared to the average man Well, okay, but so what? I just think that applying "skill assessment" to sex is silly, who cares if it was easy or hard? It isn't a competition, everybody involved wins. Of course, you have the right to chose your partner however you want, if you're repulsed by promiscuity in a potential relationship partner that's okay, but why is a simple "not interested" not enough? Why the need for…

It probably evolved as a survival strategy. For most of human history if you were rejected by your social group, you were as good as dead. Men, being stronger, had a better chance of survival on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 05:15 PM

It doesn't take much skill for a hot guy to get laid, though. Can only ugly guys be studs?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 04:58 PM

I get the frustration, but I'm not going to channel it into resentment of men or think less of them for having a natural advantage. If someone is a dick about it, then they're a dick; me acting like a cunt in retaliation would just make me a cunt.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 04:40 PM

If you think of an advantage that men hold over women, you'd expect women to say it is unfair so why can't men say the same about sex? I do MMA, men have an obvious advantage over me no matter how hard I train. Is it fair? I dunno, it's kinda demotivating sometimes tbh. Should I hold it against men and call them derogatory terms? Certainly not, that would be really petty.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 01:08 PM

So it's ok for me to sleep around because I have a good education, good job, have plenty of hobbies (I play chess, starcraft, bass, guitar), I'm well read, physically fit (I lift, do kendo/MMA)? I'm mean, sure, if you reduce a person to any one trait it's not going to look good, but people are rarely that one-sided.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 01:04 PM
12

Wait, are you competing against women for sex? Nothing wrong with that, mind you, just a strange analogy to use. Following that logic, anyone who's smarter than me is also a slut because of the advantage that gives them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/15 09:54 PM

Just because it's easier for us to get sex doesn't mean anything really, I'm starting to think that the whole "slut" thing is just you being jelly because you can't get any.

So what's different today (assuming rape culture actually exists) compared to the 90's?? People who were raped started talking about it instead of bottling it up and slowly rotting from the inside. Just a guess.

The idea is interesting, but what's even more interesting to me is that it's a product of utter ignorance. The OP just pulled it out of their ass. How can someone be so comfortable forming opinions about subjects they didn't even bother to do a cursory search on is beyond me.

Maybe feminism wasn't needed as much in Soviet Union considering they had women fighting in WWII as pilots, snipers, machine gunners, tank crew members and partisans. Also I find it simultaneously hilarious and tragic that when a decorated war hero with 309 confirmed kills came to the US for a publicity visit, a reporter commented that her uniform made her look fat. "One reporter even criticized the length of the skirt of my uniform, saying that in America women wear shorter skirts and besides m…

The impulse to create art is a mating tactic: a way to impress prospective sexual and marriage partners with the quality of one's brain and thus, indirectly, one's genes. Artistic virtuosity is unevenly distributed, neurally demanding, hard to fake (although with the advent of postmodernism this might have changed), and widely prized.

widespread belief that men are naturally more competitive than women because they need to do something to make themselves worthy of consideration in women's eyes lol no, men are more competitive because they competed with each other for resources (women included). The larger size, strength, and upper-body mass of men is a zoological giveaway of an evolutionary history of violent male-male competition. Other signs include the effects of testosterone on dominance and violence.

That's a false dichotomy, I trust you're capable of entertaining more than just two possibilities in your mind. You're basically making yourself pick between two flavors of retarded, maybe one tastes better to you than the other, but it's still retarded just the same.

You're right, it's not true, it's retarded, but trying to out-retard them is possibly not the best course one can take.

Eh, just another drop in an ocean of disillusioned human beings who overcompensate for their lack of self-confidence and lash out at people who (they perceive) wronged them in some way. Sounds like your standard fare, hardly scary at all, just very human.

Makes me happy that I chose the red pill and saw things as they really are. I imagine that every human being that ever lived felt the same of their ideology of choice. Ideology, once chosen, becomes an extension of oneself, to question it is to question oneself, and nobody likes that.

Yes, re-affirming our beliefs gives a comforting feeling of stability in a universe that is inherently unstable. Makes one feel safe in the face of slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

Maybe Lara Croft was a sex object to guys, but for me she was a great role model. Sure she had big tits, but that didn't stop her from murder, destruction, and ruthless ambition. She inspires me to this day. Kerrigan is my favorite, though.

Well no, the genes want to spread themselves, people are an interesting side effect. edit: i'm being very liberal with the use of "want" there.

well, not saying you're wrong, the fact that people are still tormented by the Darwinian economics of babies they are no longer having is testimony to the long reach of human nature, but as an environment changes perhaps the living organism will as well? will male/female sexual preferences forever remain the same regardless of the fact that the imperatives of our evolutionary history have been rendered obsolete? hard to predict such things
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/15 06:47 PM

I'd argue most people want to spread their genes in the most efficient manner available to them, so I suppose that depends on your belief of what that manner is.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/15 06:31 PM

Well, that's subjective, some people value a deep connection, some value other stuff; for example, I value a guy who gets off on being strangled and bitten.

you never defined what "feminine" is, so you can just load the term with whatever you desire
