I don’t jump through hoops. The only work I felt I had to do was plan the actual dates. As for dates themselves i wing it and just be myself. In my experience I find women make space for me and self impose hoops on themselves to jump through. I’ve never felt a woman has asked me for more or expected anything other than for me to be myself. I wait for them to try to change me or critique me and they don’t. So I have to give myself hoops to jump through so I stay growing.

Well I generally get whatever I want, including sex and latest model iPhones, free of charge, so I see your point, iPhones and sex are a lot alike.

If I don’t trust my partner to be truthful about her being on bc the default is to wrap it up. Focus on what you can control and for a man that is condoms. The difference between condoms and bc is one doubles as a prophylactic and the other just prevents pregnancy. Pregnancy risk is always assumed during any sex, no matter how small, no bc is 100% effective. Risk of disease can be mitigated through sti testing and monogamy. Pregnancy risk is present to some degree until she is infertile. For me …

You misunderstand, this isn’t my energy, this is society’s energy. Now generally do I expect a woman to ever fight me? Never. Do I expect a man ever to fight me? Probably not but exponentially more likely to fight me than a woman is. Again I’m not really the person who says that men are dangerous or has had dangerous experiences with men where I felt I wasn’t in control. Also I’m saying all this and I have had a gun pointed at me by a woman to threaten me. Men have threatened me too but to me it…

Not sure what you mean. Men can surely be overpowered. I’m just saying I myself have never once ever been worried about it. Call it It sucks, but a couple bad eggs make it so guys have to prove ourselves not dangerous. You’re also right that women don’t get the same treatment, but that’s because historically men have done an outsized amount of the harm through history. It isn’t that women don’t do harm, it is that we as a species are more sensitive to men doing harm cause men have done more and …

It’s about statistical probability. More men can do it than women. Strongest people are all men. Best fighters are all men. Sure there is some overlap and there’s some beastly women who can whoop your ass, but they all lose to the top males. The average man is far more capable of harm than average woman by a large margin in all the areas that matter most for doing damage. You compare like to like, ufc fighter male to ufc fighter female or average male to average female and the man is always the …

You really don’t think an unarmed man can kill with a single blow? Cause it happens, frighteningly often. Bar fight gone wrong and someone is dead and that’s between 2 men. A man hits a woman and it’s a way bigger risk of death. Women have weaker necks, which means the head is less able to resist motion induced by impact, so force is more likely to move brain around inside the skull, causing a TBI or possibly loss of consciousness. This can easily result in death. It’s basic Newtonian classical …

I want to be intensely seen and understood and supported and loved. Obviously I need to be attracted to them and sex has to be great too and there has to be emotional and mental compatibility. I like having a companion and best friend who I get to do everything with if I want to. There’s no one else I do the full range of life with because I’m monogamous and that’s special to me. It’s nice to have someone to fall back on in any way I might need. Sex is way better when you love each other and los…

Food for thought, false accusations hurt survivors of SA more than anyone. Women who falsely accuse hurt the credibility of all women who have been SA’d because it adds doubt. So for you to think men are hurt the most by false accusations you are wrong. One single man is hurt by a single false accusation. All women are hurt by each false accusation because it reduces how society perceived their credibility when something actually does happen and when something happens people need to be believed …

I’m not here to debate incarceration rates for sex crimes. That’s a law enforcement and justice system issue. Sex crimes are incredibly difficult to prosecute and most victims, male and female, don’t even want to press charge due to the nature of the crime. Also you’re wrong. Men are most likely to be the offender with female and male victims. There are female perpetrators but they are relatively rare. If 1/5 are women that means men offend 400% as much as women. The offender is never more likel…

Even if you caught all sex offenders, male and female, men are still predominant demographic in sex offender populations. For every female offender they don’t catch there’s at least one male offender they don’t catch. Women as sex offenders aren’t taken as seriously, you’re right, but that doesn’t make them more threatening or more prevalent than male offenders. Also the big difference with assault by a male vs a female, sexual or non-sexual, is that the perceived risk of dying is almost always …

True, they sure do, and I have a feeling I might be one of them too since some odd memories that have surfaced. The difference is boys m grow into men, often stronger than any woman. Theres no physical threat. If who I think touched me did touch me as a kid that doesn’t make me afraid of them. That’s cause I’m 80 lbs heavier and 10 inches taller. They can’t do anything to me that I don’t physically let them. I’m in control. Women don’t have the luxury of growing into a formidable figure who can …

My head went there too and I almost brought it up as a comparison but it’s not the same. Thing is we used to and honestly many people unfortunately still do hold these sentiments about race and risk. Race is a construct whereas maleness is innate. All we see at our deepest animal levels is humans, male or female, big or small, friend or foe or ambiguous. Race hasn’t been a factor as demographic or a segregator between individuals in identification for as long as gender has. I could be wrong, but…

All it takes is a sufficient threshold of men to create a risk heuristic of “men are potentially physically dangerous”. If you’ve met 1000 men and 10 commit a violent crime that’s not insignificant, that’s learning men can be a risk. A 1/100 chance of a man harming you is enough to bias people. The fact most all violence is done by men further biased perception. It isn’t about reality it’s about perception. A few powerful bad eggs change the entire perception of a demographic. Historically it wa…

/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/25 09:12 PM

I’ve never had a woman shame my sexuality, didn’t know this was a thing. If anything women are overly sexual with me. Only time my sexuality gets shamed if it isn’t as extreme in the moment as they’d hoped it would be. I find women like the animalistic sexual side of me. They literally ask for it and want me to growl and be dominating and controlling so not sure where you got the idea women shame male sexuality. Women want more of men’s sexuality in my experience and many of my friends’ experien…

You said women “know the image their body presents in a particular item of clothing, so the former is actively choosing to present a sexual image but the latter is not. Therefore, the latter is modest, the former is not”. Right here you are moralizing women’s bodies. You said a woman choosing such clothes means she is “actively choosing to present a sexual image”. That is how you think, but you misattribute your perception to her intention, which is classic projection. She doesn’t think that way…

Look up projection. That’s what you’re doing. Women just want to feel pretty. Some of that overlaps with what you consider sexy. Doesn’t mean they want you to look. You may feel to look but that is seldom their intent. Women who don’t cover up in a burqa or burlap sack don’t necessarily want to present themselves sexually. They probably just want to feel cute. Women can’t help how sexual their bodies are. It is less they are trying to be sexual and more so you as a man are wired to perceive it a…

Of course, reading or caring about studies only impacts behavior if you allow it to. I’m just stating cause and effect of behaviors on long term intimacy outcomes in individuals and why that is so. Do as you please, we all have free will. I’m just laying out the cause and effect of doing as you please if that means you had first experiences that weren’t emotionally integrated. It isn’t deterministic it is probabilistic. You don’t have to care what men think. I’m just tryna live in truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 12:42 AM

I’m just saying that from my perspective basically you said studies have zero basis in reality and valued your lived subjective experience over studies. I’m saying whether you believe in studies or not this here is the mechanism that lends itself to the conclusions the studies draw. Instead of making conclusions or assertions like most do when they cite studies, which I find annoying and un-nuanced, I laid out how it works as a dynamic system. Sorry if it was dense. I’m a nerd. You’re right, it isn’t. The delegation isn’t conscious either, it is automatic. Just for people who learned sex as separate from emotional intimacy when they lost their virginity and subsequent early times. Most people aren’t as emotionally vulnerable in casual sex. That’s a super normal delegation of emotional intimacy and it is adaptive. It is only an issue if someone spends years practicing detachment of emotions from sex without a single instance of emotionally integrated sex. That will make…

It’s pretty simple. If you early in learn sex and emotional presence aren’t one and the same, then it isn’t as automatic to be emotionally present in sex later on in a relationship. You become what you practice. If your first times were in a relationship you learn sex and emotional presence coincide automatically. If you have your first time(s) as casual sex then you learn to detach and learn emotions aren’t necessary for sex and it is harder in the future to merge them once you find your long t…

Just listen to what the survey says. If you get told you’re hot and get asked out or hit on as a man you’re probably hot. If not you’re probably not. The true hot guys get told it and let know they are hot in no uncertain terms. If you’re hot and a woman wants you and you aren’t biting they will embarrass themselves. Some flat out bring up the idea of having your babies out of nowhere. If you’re hot women flat out let you know. They will call you “cute” or “hot” and make moves and take interest …

What you call a “nice” or “good” guy, i as a man call a “pussy”. Women don’t want a pussy of a man. You can be “nice”, but you can’t be a pushover and you still have to be capable of aggression towards threats when necessary. There is no backing down, there is life or death. Winning the fight is life, losing is death. You gotta be willing to fight that fight when your woman’s safety is on the line. Well yeah, women want men who they perceive as near the top or at the top. If you aren’t competitive in any domain as a man then you aren’t competitive as a mate. You will be as you say “inviable” if you don’t dominate at least some arena that is valued. Women want to feel like they landed a true “catch” not some schlup of a man. If women didn’t do that then we wouldn’t be what we are today. We are what we are today because of the evolutionary pressure women’s sexual selection imposed. It’s a go…

More like women’s sexual preferences adjudicate who is seen as a “real man” and who isn’t. They make generalizations about all males based on their perceptions of who they deem “real men”. “Real men” is just taken to mean men who women deem worthy of mating with on a primal subconscious level. Women just call men’s preferences “evil” or “toxic” when they don’t meet the preferences of the man or men they desire. More than anything this is an issue of projection when it comes to male preference be…

Really? I’ve noticed women value protection over resources. So if you can truly protect a woman you don’t have to pay. In fact women will actually insist on paying cause of you keep them safe. Protection is more valuable than money to them because a lot of women have been in scary situations with men—more than you think. You fully solve that problem for them and you’re in without having to pay a dime. Can’t be afraid of anyone though and I mean anyone. You have to be the one traditionally scary …

Male mating strategy has been historically highly opportunistic. Men have evolved to jump on every mating opportunity they can. It isn’t a conscious thing. It can be moderated by conscious thought, but the lower nervous system is far more influential on behavior for most people, men and women, than conscious rational thought. If everyone was rational and cortically controlled no one would ever be impulsive about anything. Sexual behavior is literally one of the things most humans have the least …

Most people don’t want to be friends with guys who aren’t sexually successful for a very simple reason: they often carry emotional baggage directly and/or tangentially related to their lack of sexual success. Women don’t want to give these guys anything remotely signaling approval of these guys to other women. They’d much rather distance themselves and for good reason, it can hurt their social standing among other woman of their if they don’t. It is their dominant strategy, and therefore in thei…

Uh I’ve been at least 6’5 since 14, probably even attractive, but because I didn’t feel attractive or confident sexually until older, I couldn’t see the options I had right in front of me or have the confidence to even try. I felt like a boy despite having the frame of an NBA shooting guard by 16. In hindsight, i was very attractive growing up, but I never capitalized on it even one bit until I was like 19-20 and believed it, and in, myself. I mean that red pill shit about frame isn’t entirely wrong, but it comes across as inauthentic, unattractive, and controlling if you just develop these that to get laid. It has to come from a place of authenticity and be who you are at your core to be attractive. I disagree about online dating not being a great place to meet great women. Also not all intelligent women are anti-marriage. You and your friends are way too small a sample size to draw any conclusions from. I know Ivy League educated doctors who are married and have kids. It’s not just dumb conservative women who get married. There are legal benefits to marriage in addition to the drawbacks I’m sure you’re already aware of.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 01:54 PM

Marriage as an institution is shit, no arguing there. I just prefer to love deeply whether that means a relationship, casual dating, or a legal partnership. I don’t like causal/NSA sex because I feel like there’s a requirement for both parties to temper their emotions. I feel intensely and I like to let myself feel what I feel without limits. I find casual sex to be emotionally limiting.

I never said men age like wine. I don’t care to pull young hot women at 35+. I don’t want to be Hugh Hefner, Jack Nicholson, or any other playboy bachelor type. It doesn’t appeal to me. I hope to be settled down by 35. I don’t even care to pull young hot women at my current age, 23. I got a wicked sex drive and if I made my decisions based on my sexual appetite and the sexual availability of women to me I’d be riddled with venereal disease. There’s more to life than getting laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 01:31 PM

Height definitely helps in America. Maybe you live somewhere else, but to deny that height is an advantage in American dating as a man is patently false. In men intelligence is attractive up until the top 1% at which point it drops off and is only attractive to women who highly value intelligence who are themselves usually quite intelligent. This works out fine for me because I exclusively like intelligent women. My back will be fine, thank you. I eat well, I get regular massages, acupuncture, y…

I’m confused, usually in a debate when you disagree with what someone proposes as axiomatic you address what exactly you disagree with and present your own facts. Then debate commences as we both further our understanding of the facts. Then we know exactly where we disagree and can together further our understanding. 4/5 women being victims of sexual assault is a frequently cited figure in academia. Being loved and accepted isn’t man’s biological imperative. This need for love and acceptance you’re talking about is really a need for validation from women. I get it. It sucks to be appraised as low value by the opposite sex, but that’s life. Nobody owes anyone happiness, acceptance, or love. You have to become someone worthy of it. Nobody has to do anything. In the same way women don’t have to have sex with men they don’t want to, men do not have to “date hypo-gamy to satiate a hypergamous female”. That statement lacks so much agency. You can do whatever the fuck you want. Date up or date down, I don’t care. Female hypergamy isn’t a law or anything goddamn.

You’re reply effectively amounts to “U mad bro?”. I am not mad bro. If you’d like to engage in actual debate, that’s cool, but this thing you just did isn’t debate. Everything about your comment is poor form. You haven’t giving me any too to further the discussion so I will assume you would like to stay in your echo chamber. This wasn’t remotely political. The fact you think this is political tells me you’re probably conservative and all I can say to that is yikes. There’s a 80% chance your mom …

Well duh. It’s near universal behavior for when someone is talking to someone they perceive as higher value than themself (in the context of dating/sex). And if it isn’t clear to you yet, women prefer to practice hypergamy. They want Mr. Dreamy McDreamboat and surprise surprise they lose their minds when they are close to getting him. It’s neutral to positive to a point so long as they don’t cross into clingy or crazy territory. I personally find it a turn off unless I’m interested in them as a …

What makes you say that? I’m drawing logical conclusions based on my knowledge of biology, anthropology, and philosophy. I’ve also read at least 2 dozen scholarly articles about sexual violence, it’s effects, the motivations of perpetrators, and in the context of several different time periods. Male on female sexual violence perseveres across all time periods and cultures. From where do you make your claims? After all this is a debate subreddit. My conclusion is drawn from the assumption that it…

Exactly! Life isn’t about happiness. Nobody gives a flying fuck if you’re happy and the sooner you embrace that the better. It’s a cruel cruel world as you said. What makes it especially cruel for humans isn’t what happens, but rather the nature of consciousness itself. We can imagine a world better than the one we live in, we are aware of our own mortality, and we lack almost all agency over these things. We compare our world to this ideal world we have in our heads and that’s when despair sets…

Sorry that was a damn novel. My the long short of it is men, specifically wealthy white men, dominate the power arenas in my country, America. If you aren’t that and you aren’t a skilled worker chances are you’re treated like you’re expendable. That’s because you kind of are as far as society is concerned. Men don’t have the intrinsic value women do unless we are born into wealth or we’re genetically exceptional.

I’m male and I live in the U.S. I agree men and women both suffer, but nobody gives a shit if men suffer. There’s a reason women and children come before men. Men are inherently more expendable. We always have been and have always been treated as such. Only upper class men live a different reality. I don’t know what life is like in your culture. I can only speak from my knowledge of my culture which is currently dominant. I agree with you that women are more valued than men in every level of soc…

They want men to be domicile nice guys because not too long ago a lot of guys were very comfortable in their sexuality and most of our mothers, aunts, and grandmothers were sexually assaulted or harassed growing up. It’s still common, but less tolerated. Women spread these messages because sexually reserved men mean a safer world for them. These aren’t the guys women want, but rather how they’d like men at large to act because it makes their world safer. By spreading a message to most men that b…

Instagram is the best way to promote some pussy -Kendrick Lamar, No More Parties in LA, TLOP, Ye Pussy in the sex work sense, hook up sense, dating sense. Guys are visual creatures so if you want to get male attention and reach the largest audience or pool of suitors you post thirst traps on IG. The best part is they can do it all from the safety of their home. Women are valued first and foremost for their appearance so why wouldn’t they use it as much as possible short of sex work to get ahead?…

They won’t acknowledge it because it would result in a massive uptick in sexual violence against them. If women put it bluntly there would be less incentive for sexually unsuccessful men not to assault them. They perpetuate a narrative of “there’s someone out there for everyone” because it’s better the man she rejected focuses his pursuits elsewhere in false hope than to tell it how it is and have him make her a target. It’s not that they objectify themselves because they want to or want men to notice. They objectify themselves (look as good as they can) so they receive the best possible treatment they can by society. Not sure if you noticed, but women who aren’t attractive are seen as less human in the eyes of society. Not that it’s right, but women are valued for their looks above all so if they want to be taken seriously and treated well they have to objectify themselves as you say.

I’m a man and I almost never agree with the other men except for black pill rhetoric from the perspective of a top 20% man. By that I mean I agree that men who are tall, attractive, intelligent, and wealthy have a much easier time dating. No, they really aren’t. Like seriously look up “are single or married women happier”, do it. Literally learned it in psych 202 4 years ago. Single women aren’t happier because of options. They are happier because being in a relationship with a man often sucks. Men are often a burden to their spouse. Women consistently do a disproportionately large amount of domestic labor so being single means less laundry and dishes, which we can both agree suck. A lot of women after a certain age stop giving 2…

Misrepresent my comment much? I didn’t say all men weren’t suited for white collar jobs and I’m not saying the world needs to cater even more to men. I’m saying that college education is being pushed (which in an ideal world all would have a college education, but that’s just not possible) as the only viable option when it isn’t. This leads to men who aren’t suited for college not finding their niche, usually a trade. I don’t think women should be barred from higher education, but clearly some l…

Agreed, but I think that’s largely due to a modern economy. Not as many people getting into trades and trades aren’t respected like they used to/should be. Absolutely, but it’s a two way street. If a man wants a woman to truly love him deeper than the superficial then he most love her beyond the superficial which usually means for her looks. A lot of men only love their woman as much as she is pretty. So I counter “is it possible for a man to truly love a woman or will it always be predicated upon her looks?” It takes self awareness by way of introspection to do either.

I think you’re doing great and you’re just getting in your head. I was in your shoes once. Keep your chin up and love your woman. Skip this paragraph and save for the end. I hate to tell you, but just cause a girl says she came doesn’t mean she came. If she’s saying she came from sex you should feel her vagina squeezing your dick sporadically, girls faces us…

I didn’t say I had a 10 face. It’s probably an 8 or 9. I’m a 9 overall right now though and I could be a 10 with some work. I’m a 9 cause of the aggregate of all my traits. Did you not read my comment? Looks aren’t the dominating factor of a man’s attractiveness. You don’t have to have a perfect face to be a 10. I’d say Shawn Mendes undoubtedly has a 10 face though in most women’s mind. I mean he was voted sexiest man alive at one point. So if I regularly get compared to the sexiest man alive ba…

Ikr, but it is. I doubt you want to see it, but I can send you a dick pic as proof. The men in my dads family are known for packing heat. I had to order condoms from Germany because they don’t make any in america big enough for me. She said she had 9 and I believe her. I know I personally said otherwise, but it only matters if you think it matters. I can tell you it matters far more to us guys than it does to our gfs. Me? Put it this way. I dressed up as a greaser for Halloween last year and everyone thought I dressed up as Shawn Mendes. I wore a leather jacket, white t shirt and black jeans. Lot of girls think I look like a taller Shawn Mendes. I’m trying not to share pics of myself with strangers anymore. How about I send you a pic but I block out my face? It’ll prove I’m ridiculously tall and hopefully make the rest seem believable. Also this sub just seems sketchier to share my identity on than others.

Never been worried about being the biggest because based on statistics I’m 99.99% certain I’m the biggest she’s ever seen much less had. Her gay friend saw my dick pic and he said it’s the biggest he’s seen and he’s seen 100s. My gf also tells me I have a “pretty dick” whatever that means. Mens attractiveness isn’t dominated by one metric like women’s is. A man’s attractiveness is the aggregate of a multitude of traits. All attractiveness does is lowers the standard for other traits ever so slightly. Women don’t go after men like men go after women. I don’t know how old you are, but you’ll learn this eventually. It’s a fact of life. It’s also a matter of competition. There are guys that you are equal too in every sense and if you pursue the same girl the guy who works harder will …

Nope. I was dead broke when dating my gf and I still am. I was selling old stuff from my childhood to fund dates. It was pathetic. I had no problem attracting girls before I met her or after for that matter, but I don’t mess around with them. Granted I’m in college and I expect to make good money in the future, but right now I’m broke. Tall and good looking is enough for a lot of college girls. Cause men have mental illness too. Can’t demand a woman be free of mental illness if I myself am not. I have bipolar 2, adhd, and generalized anxiety. I need a woman who can empathize and be patient with my struggles with my mental health. I find women who have similar diagnosis’s better understand me and I relate to them better. That’s because being dominant takes a lot of work. It takes supreme confidence. Most guys don’t have that and you don’t get to switch off. You either are or you’re not and most men aren’t.

Mostly agree. In fact I even asked my gf on our third date if she was seeing anyone else and she showed me her tinder (that’s how we met) to show she hadn’t gone on any other dates. I’ll be honest I would’ve felt pretty bad if she was still going on dates after we’d been talking for a month and a half. I was mentally prepared for it because we met on tinder, but fortunately that wasn’t the case. Originally I thought I was gonna multidate and hookup until we were exclusive, but I thought of how I…

You’d have to be significantly below average length to not hit g spot. Now whether she gets off from it is another story. Now not being girthy enough I could understand as most guys probably aren’t girthy enough to adequately stimulate g spot. Length only really matters for O and A spot, which only require 6-7 inches If you’re a woman I’m really sorry and I hope I’m not mansplaining your own anatomy, but my gf didn’t know about any of the spots except for g spot until I told her about the O and …

I’m definitely a good looking guy, but to what degree depends on the person you ask. I’m 22, 6’6, weigh a little more than 200 lbs, and I’ve gotten told I look like Shawn Mendes more times than I can count. I’ve also been told I look like random male models. I always have some semblance of a 6 pack. I’ve been told I dress well too.

Hot guys don’t operate like you because they can afford to be picky. Some girls aren’t worth the time it takes to fuck them and some are gross. If you could afford to be picky you’d be more picky too or at least after awhile you would.

But what about hot guys that want emotional and physical intimacy with one person? Some hot guys prefer being in a relationship. Why do you assume sleeping around is objectively superior to a relationship? You can do way more in a relationships sex wise and you don’t gotta wear a condom. Fucking a new woman every other day isn’t as appealing as it sounds when you have the option to. It’s exhausting. Also, you do realize sex takes time, right? There’s only so much time to fuck girls assuming it t…

Also not every good looking guy cheats. Most of the ones I know don’t. Cheating has more to do with integrity than looks. I still don’t get why you think every woman can find a hot guy to fuck. Do you really think sex with an unattractive woman willing to open her legs sounds appealing to a guy with options? You do realize sex is pretty gross if you aren’t at all attracted to the person right? Arousal is necessary for men to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 09:37 PM

Why do you assume every good looking guy sleeps around? That is a blanket statement. Just cause they can doesn’t mean they do. Just cause a guy could sleep with a woman first date doesn’t mean they will. Also in my experience top guys try not to sleep with average women and maintain their standards. If anything top guys would consider those women mistakes. Most of the time when hot guys sleep with average women the woman had to work for it or catch the guy when he had drunk goggles. Truly good l…

Not really. If you have a traits that are in high demand such as good looks, tall, above average intelligence, sense of humor, etc all in one person that guy has a huge advantage and can be more successful with less effort than guys without those traits who put in more effort. So I’d say your rule holds more true the less attractive the guy is. I think you forget that nowadays women want a hot guy they can show off just like men want a hot woman. I think women tend to be lower maintenance for th…

The line is “for every hot woman there’s a guy tired of fucking her”. This doesn’t necessarily apply in reverse. If the guy is just hot and he’s average in bed sure she might get tired of fucking him. However, if the guy is not only hot, but is also giving her the best sex of her life, I’m betting she will put up with a LOT to keep the status quo. There’s always a limit to what a person will put up with, yes, but if the previously mentioned conditions are met that limit is presumably high.

I think your premise is backwards. You’re blaming women for dating guys who cheat on them rather than the men who cheat on them. The expectation is your partner doesn’t cheat. Most don’t get into a relationship expecting to get cheated on. If they really thought that their partner was going to cheat from day one that wouldn’t be a very good foundation for a relationship, would it? To me having the mindset of “my partner is going to cheat on me” means you have attachment issues, trust issues, or …

I don’t care about the number itself so long as she was pursuing or in a relationship with each of these men. I get girls can be naive and try to hookup into a relationship so I’ll give them a handful passes for that behavior as long as it doesn’t become a habit. We all make mistakes. I care about context. I don’t want a woman who has casual sex because I choose not to have casual sex. I’m turned off by the idea of a one night stand, I want real intimacy and a woman who wants that as well. I loo…

It really depends how you go about it. I respect men and women that pursue what they want and don’t wait for someone to come along that they fancy. It’s a clear expression of what you want and shows confidence in your desire. In general I don’t understand the appeal for casual sex, it seems inauthentic in most instances. First off I’m not sure how you have sex with someone you aren’t crazy about. Sex is intimate no matter how you frame it and often people aren’t honest with themselves or others …

A bunch of girls messaged me with hookup vibes (basically coming out of the gate with a sexually charged message) and I played along until I realized I had plans to fuck 10 girls in a week. Once I realized how easy it was to get a quick fuck I decided in fucking them I’d be reducing myself to my primitive drive to procreate so I cancelled on all of them. I really believe the problem with casual sex is it I doing so you are treating not only another human casually, but you are treating yourself (…

Men aren’t free sexually. If anything a lot of us are slaves to our sex drive. I don’t want to speak for women because I’m not one, but most women I know would rather be in a relationship with the right guy than hookup with a bunch of different hot guys. I guess what I’m saying is I don’t think most people are happy with how things are right now or 50 years ago or 1000 years ago. That’s not an asshole as far as how you treat women. You’re only an asshole if you will say anything to get laid. Being forthright with your intentions is not being an asshole. Playing women like you’re gonna date them when you have no intention of that is being an asshole. Guys think it’s asshole behavior because it takes confidence to be assertive and it’s likely the guys that are assertive with women are assertive with other men leading the men who aren’t assertive to get pushed around by the…

I’m not RP by any means, but I agree with both. I never really viewed it as a conscious mindset though. For me it’s always come naturally so long as I have my life together and let my instincts take over with women. A view a lot of it as embracing your sexuality as a man. Before I had a GF being 6’6 was the number 1 reason women approached me in bars. Even now, without fail I get hit on at least one girl who has a thing for tall guys every time I go out drinking. Yeah, that sounds about right. We’re talking men acting entitled towards their SO, right? Cause I agree with you because at least in my experience women like guys to be assertive and “take them” so to speak or “do what they want to them”. The ideal is assertion while still respecting boundaries, but that takes a lot of social awareness and …

I think for some they want a good guy albeit attractive to be in a relationship with, but they’ve convinced themselves they don’t deserve a loving relationship so that leaves them to hookup with the attractive assholes because that’s all they think they deserve. Usually because of trauma or upbringing, which is not her fault, but it is often the reason nonetheless.

You’re missing the point and I don’t get your point. Safety is more important than sex. The society has an interest in our safety and is willing to take some responsibility for it. In that situation yeah, I’d stand by if I was unarmed because I’m not going to risk my own safety for a stranger. You can still call police and you should call the police.
