I want to thank everyone for the replies. My take is that I overplayed dread on a girl that was already very sensitive to it and fucked it up. I believe any thoughts she has of cheating are driven by her insecurity that I could be cheating. I'll keep monitoring her state but I expect her to return to a steadier state quickly.

I was trying to sort if the question stemmed from her insecurity or if she was cheating/planning to. It the comments seem in favor of cheating.

How does she get permission from that question?

That seems to be the consensus. Can you elaborate on why?

There is nothing wrong with caring about a woman that respects you.

I'm tempted to see how saying,"No, I'm not like that. I'm a gentleman!" With a grin and ironic tone would go over.

I can visualize them, and I can even make myself feel the emotions. In reality, I tend to prioritize what people provide me. I don't think this can be called love. It's just being selfish.

I happen to share this trait. I didn't assume that all men did.

I hamstered it like this. People are generally lazy and don't want to work. The idea of unconditional love is just that. People want to be loved and be lazy. I don't place any stigma on women for not loving unconditionally, because I don't love unconditionally.

I'm confident enough to be compleatly honest with her. Most time effective method. I want x, provide x or GTFO and have a lovely life.

22 yo with a pacemaker checking in. Still spar in MMA style JKD. Go to line when people question the titanium lump in my chest,"I am Iron Man."

Putting up with all that bullshit for sex bi-annually. Celibacy is a better deal than that.

If a woman is in a bar or club they want attention.

My buddy (engaged not married yet) threw me this line after I questioned checking with his wife to see if he could go out.

I agree that it is a worthless term. I went 22 years generally ignoring women, for various reasons. I made the decision to change, faced some fears, and ended the "incel" period.

Wouldn't the behavior of accepting that you lost and not caring override the words?

First rule of TRP: You do not talk about TRP. Just give the advice without dropping the subreddit. If they want to know, they will find the truth.

Guys do not think that way when they get pictures of their GF blowing a stripper and getting mocked by people who know them. Instead, they go apeshit. After seeing that picture, my challenge would be staying out of jail.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
