Sarah Silverman makes rape joke same night as Tosh and everyone laughs.I don't agree with his point, but he probably meant there would have been a more knee-jerk and swift reaction by the school's administration if little girls were involved. He might be comparing it to how people seem to not have a strong reaction to the Catholic Church covering up/protecting Catholic priests who molested boys, and perhaps if little girls were involved those people wouldn't condone it. | /r/MensRights | 13/07/12 05:31 PM
Sarah Silverman makes rape joke same night as Tosh and everyone laughs.Wouldn't Tosh have to have "prepared" a bit about rape also, in order for the women to get offended in the first place? Who cares anyway, only one woman complained according to peoples' accounts. | /r/MensRights | 13/07/12 05:25 PM
/v/'s summary of the "Tropes vs. Women in Video Games" kickstarter, and all the fuzz about it.These industries need to stop using sexist hiring policies. How do they have "sexist hiring policies"? I would assume companies hire developers based on skill and talent and not gender. It's not sexist if a majority of people working in an industry happen to male. I haven't heard of there being issues in the hiring of female game developers. | /r/MensRights | 04/07/12 09:56 AM
/v/'s summary of the "Tropes vs. Women in Video Games" kickstarter, and all the fuzz about it.Well I'd also say that if a lot of game designers are male, they'd rather draw an overly-attractive female than what others would consider 'average.' Also, what are the other issues of sexism in video games besides the level of attractiveness of the female characters? | /r/MensRights | 18/06/12 10:17 PM
/v/'s summary of the "Tropes vs. Women in Video Games" kickstarter, and all the fuzz about it.I don't think that it's sexism in the video games themselves, just practicality issues concerning the game designers. If you had to create a female character in a game when a major portion of your audience is male, would you draw an attractive woman or a unattractive woman? What are some other issues of sexism in video games? | /r/MensRights | 18/06/12 09:20 PM
Barack Obama: Michelle Told Me To Knock It Off For Calling Father's Day A 'Forgotten Holiday'Wait, what? Why would you just say the opposite of him, instead of proving your point? You made the claim that: [Romney is] a president [that] openly disdains homosexuals, blacks, scientists, union members, arabs, socialists, and atheists So when someone doesn't believe you and essentially wants proof, the next logical step is to prove the claim you just made. | /r/MensRights | 17/06/12 03:51 AM
"Women really DO find the silent, brooding type sexier: Scientists discover happy men are 'significantly less attractive.'" Don't findings like these contradict the idea that we should be the super-positive guy who's talking to everyone?I am unintentionally a silent, brooding type. I can confirm this isn't true. | /r/seduction | 17/02/12 03:03 PM
