6	How can I get over the inequalities and double standards in favour of women in dating? Women can and do approach men they are actually interested in. Men have these expectations yes, but women also have expectations of them that they have to deal with. Women are expected to look nice, dress well, be a certain size and shape, be appealing at all times, deal with unwanted advances politely, be patient, bold but not too bold, and ambitious but not too ambitious.
