Since I started posting on reddit I've seen a change in a positive Durbin but I wouldn't say it's in a good place overall yet. I have gone into threads before ready to defend the man in a situation and sometimes I find other people there making well thought out reasoned arguments and I don't even have to respond. So there are still issues but I've seen noticeable improvement.

I saw a guy who had made several documentaries about WW 2 and knows what a Totenkopf looks like say he saw platners tattoo and didn't realize what it was, lol. I remember hearing the name as the bad guy in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. I have no idea if they use the symbol. I just don't remember. I've been meaning to rewatch it and check.

That depends on what you mean by centrist. Do you mean what you can get bipartisan support for in congress, or do you mean issues that the vast majority of Americans want? Centrist in most cases on mainstream news has become known as the former , so it's easy to use it as a synonym for conservative.

Public transit in my city is very lame. So few busses that if I wanted to take them anywhere in the evening I would have to leave hours early from events to use them. They stop running at midnight, so I can't take one home from a bar if I were drinking. This is my long-winded way of saying I don't have much experience with mass transit, so I don't have a personal opinion on its safety. From what I read it's safer than driving yourself.

One way women can be kept out is unreasonable physical standards in a field like firefighting. If the standard was set to get strong men, rather than it being X% over the minimum needed to actually do the job. I've seen it before in real life, but I have no idea how prevalent that may be. People can do it unintentionally as well if a standard was set a long time ago and never updated.

Depends on the temperature and amount of sun/ rain. Once a week, spring summer, and every 2 weeks when it starts to cool down. I've started to replace my lawn with a low mow seed mix.
