Date, it will speed the healing process. I’m not there yet myself and I was also against it but today I see that I was wrong and should have started dating a lot sooner.

You described exactly how I feel and felt. No kids I wish I had at least something to look forward to everyday. Amazing how well your text resonated with me about the friends who tell you to move on. I promise you it will get better I do have days I think about her but I know it’s gonna get better!

Man I can only resonate with the lying. Had the same thing with my ex wife she swore there was no one else until I pushed her to work together on one Valentine’s Day, then she said she already slept with someone else. That didn’t stop me from acting foolish and retry again over a span of 2.5 years of separation.

Sounds like my ex wife and you are describing her behavior as well. Little did I know about avoidant and anxious attachment at that time based on your post I got “lucky” it was only 8 years for me…

Exactly what happened to me, she already processed it one year prior, I did recognize that we’ve become roommates and only now, after 3 years I realized she was the definition of a walkaway wife…

It’s not a wife it’s a roommate. To build a family funds should be mutual…

Same situation, it's like I wrote this post, and yes, taking control over me...instead of focusing on her. Peace.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
