I referenced white people as the most common use of this is white-women referring to other white men. The second point I was making was that the weight of saying "men are trash" is noticeably less than saying something racist/antisemitic. -- The first point I was making was that your reasoning for not supporting feminism because some people say something so worthless is stupid. Its like hating men because incels exist.

For the longest time, I (25m) branded myself as an anti-Men's Rights. While I like their theory and the principles of how they started out, they fail to regulate and police their vocal and extremist "incel" wing I thought to myself, "Replace the word 'women' in the slogan 'women are trash' with another demographic. Women, Muslims, Jews, Asians, Caucasians, etc." I don't know how anyone else would take that, but it sure as Hell sounded like extremist rhetoric to me. With that, I was able to confi…

In a reductive way yeah. Tackling wealth disparity is a well studied problem, its just that half the politicians still push trickle down because their reelection depends on it. just increase corporate/income taxes for upper class. Created an unbounded tax bracket. (The upper bound is 300k which is dumb when you have billionaires). Ban corporate donations to political campaigns. Invest in the IRS so they can crack down on tax evasion, reinvest the money into social welfare programs.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm anti incel-sympathy. There are a ton of males that are lonely/depressed and the vast majority of them aren't incels. If we're going to actively push resources into solving a social problem I'd rather help wealth disparity with minorities or other groups that have had actual systemic oppression. Pushing resources into a class of people that have had every reason to succeed and are downing under the weight of their own beliefs feels like a real slap in the face to every ot…

Bro words change with the time. Words can have multiple definitions, and incel at this point is more commonly referring to the negative attributes of the incel community. (If it is even a community)

JP's story is pretty sad because at one point he was just a right-leaning psychology professor. Though ever since C-16 + Xanax binger he's really dug into the alt-right/incel crap

I remember reading something... where a good chunk of men have limited ways to express emotions outside of their partner, so if you fall into that category, equating the two is actually kinda logical. This culture is probably derived from the no-crying-toxic-masculinity crap, where's its not cool to be emotionally expressive with your friends

You don't have to feel ashamed for wanting something, but you're setting yourself up for misery. You'd have a much better time becoming the guy girls want to date than wasting it envying the guys that already have. My pro-tip for social anxiety, make small talk with every cash-register person cause its easy to start a conversation. Once you feel comfortable you can try to start cold-approachs/dating apps or whatever to get into the scene.

Half this post is making sweeping generalizations about woman. You literally assume just because you find someone attractive you probably won't like their personality. So yes, I think your have an incredibly skewed world view. If my post hurt your feelings you should reflect on your own post.

This is some real deal incel shit. You literally say you don't like how woman behave but also admit to never approaching a woman? You're talking about your "ideal woman" while self admitting to being a lonely individual with minimal social skills. Go fucking upgrade yourself before you start evaluating what you deserve.

I'm in the same boat, most of my girlfriends were people that I asked the same day/week after meeting them (usually through some mutual friends) Crushes always worked against me as I'd just get anxious and fumble my words/actions. Definitely has caused some disappointment in life but that doesn't detract from the other relationships I've had. I think the love things kinda grows for people? I've def loved people while knowing they may not be "the one." (Though that may depend on your definition o…

IMO I think the right play is dependent on your rapport/your style of flirting. The playing hard to get act has never panned out for me, so I'd probably just initiate the rain-check myself. After "I'm so sorry" I probably would've just said "Its all good, rain check?" I don't think that comes off as needy/whatever and than at least you don't need to spend time agonizing over whether she's going to hit you up. (fwiw I got rain-checked twice by someone and than we ended up dating for almost 4 year…
