I understand about the link situation, no worries. The MeToo movement was occupied by Hollywood but was originally created by a POC in NYC over 10 years prior to the recent appropriation. I just thought my parents were uptight but they already knew that the media’s representation of society was a CF (cluster-F). And no, it’s not an overplayed analogy...a double standard is a double standard. The graphic violence is a problem in general, and poking fun at violence against any one demographic is even more problematic. MeToo was appropriated from more disadvantaged communities, but I don’t really see I parallel between the two. (Granted I have mixed feelings about the movement but am generally supportive while still utilizing my common sense and discernment. 1	Visual representation of equality in the US I'm Jewish obviously (or not so obviously). I've been writing that way since I was younger (when things in school were still handwritten). In Judaism, it was/is considered a no-no out of fear that the name would be destroyed if written out completely (e.g. shredding/discarding the paper). If unisex bathrooms are to be instituted, why on G-d's Earth would they not make a new restroom??? Clearly, replacing either male or female restrooms with anything else creates a problem. It should be male, female, and unisex. Or, some places like IKEA just make a "family restroom" (basically a single stall unisex with a diaper station) and that solves the issue. 1	Wtf sexism is sexism no matter to whom Merriam-Webster defines sexism as “prejudice or discrimination based on sex...behavior, conditions, or attitudes that foster stereotypes of social roles based on sex.” I have yet to find any dictionary defining the term sexism as “prejudice + power”. Therefore, there can be (and is) such a thing as sexism against men. Logically and objectively, although women experience sexism, either sex can (and do) experience sexism.
