Been riding urban train + underground train daily to go and to come from work daily for 5 years and even weekends and go basically to anywhere in a major world city and urban area of more than 10 million people. Haven't seen much man spreading. Not much shebagging either. But that's just my own personal experience. Although I am willing to bet both are over-dramatised.
