if women can play this way of being manipulative, so can we. And there it is again. Women manipulate. The word you're looking for is LIE. And everyone has always done it, let's not pretend men discovered the concept of lying from seeing women do it.

I've known far more men in my life who have been falsely accused of violence then I do woman who have experienced violence at the hands of men. That's probably because you believe the men when they deny it, and don't believe the women when they make allegations. Prison is full of innocent people.

we should never trust a "victim" on her word alone. Funny how you specified not trusting women here. This should have been a gender neutral statement. Well, not funny, telling.

This is a sub for misogynists, don't try to make sense of their behavior. They hate women, but they are also obsessed with women. Normal people understand where you're coming from.

I hate seeing very overweight people try to claim the 'dad bod' title. Dad bod was supposed to mean just a regular guy without giant arms and abs, not someone who needs to lose 100 pounds. It's not just the look that is unattractive, you know it also comes along with a bunch of other things. Digestion issues Bad smells Lazy as fuck Constant health issues

I tried but couldn't find the original post. However, given the trouble they're in, they don't sound like the level of wealthy where the nanny and maid were live-in 24/7 help. The 'maid' was probably a cleaner who came once a week. So she may have had some help but she was the primary caregiver for both children, neither of whom have graduated high school yet. And this man is resentful of her because he doesn't see being a homemaker as 'work'. He's acting like she's been lying around eating bonb…

Would you describe yourself as a feminist? No. Feminism is nothing more than believing that both genders have equal value. I know there are several misogynists in this thread, but remember that they are the type of men that twist feminism into something terrible and then make women feel that they should deny that they support it. Don't think you can satisfy them. No matter what you say, they are not on your side. You are a woman and they hate you for it.

It’s the mindset of generosity that you’re looking for in a partner, because that’s what you’ll be wanting to give to them as well, and generosity can’t be a one-way street in a relationship. Bingo.

You don't want to date someone who's just taking what they can get. You want someone who's excited about you. Reading the comments, the guy's take is that he was into her but she wasn't putting much effort or energy into anything, so he asked her to pay for the sandwich to test her interest. That doesn't make sense. If she doesn't like you, asking her to pay for her own meal isn't going to change that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/04/21 02:46 AM

He's obviously a cheap man who couldn't wait more than two dates to try to even the score, but her response is not good either. Saying "but my ex did it" is not a good reason for anything. I'm also not convinced that the man should pay for literally everything for an entire relationship.

Do I need to reconsider my use of this phrase? I only say it as a way of dismissing/moving on from things that could bother me (I lost or broke something, I didn't get the job, etc).

Yes! That's a good point. It's not just about your capacity in relation to men, feeling physically capable is also so personally gratifying.

I think what's less important is whether the man is stronger, and that it's more about whether the gap in strength in so large that he knows for sure that he could overpower her, and whether she is strong enough to never need to ask for his help with daily tasks. A strong woman might not be able to deadlift as much as the average man, but the power dynamics between them are so different to the one between an average man and an average woman.

It's just like in gaming, where the men with the lowest status have the most to lose by women being involved or improving their status. So in this case, the weakest men are the ones who are most concerned by women lifting weights and being strong. Strong men know they will always look and be stronger, so it's not a threat to them. One other thought: sometimes the only area where an LVM can feel superior to women is in knowing that he is stronger than her and can overpower her. That she needs hel…

They get so mad over things that don't even happen. So true! They are the type who want to go on walk dates because their primary concern is being used for a free $20 meal. It's never happened to them or anyone they know, but they heard a story about it once. In almost any situation, LVM can paint men as victims whose suffering doesn't get the attention it deserves. Just look at any reddit post with a news article about domestic violence, and they go to town even more when they find one where th…

This woman is a joke. More proof that being a professional doesn't necessarily mean you're free of terrible judgment. She should know that one of the key signs of an addiction is that the behavior is having a negative impact on your relationships. So the very fact that the woman is distressed is a sign that something is wrong with the situation. She even uses the phrase 'compulsive sexual behaviour'...

For women, "mental health" is a tool to discredit and silence us. For men, "mental health" is a tool for excusing literal hate crimes. So true! They also call a woman's unpleasantness 'abuse' in order to explain why the man in her life treats her badly, even up to killing her and their kids. They're doing this about Chris Watts on one of many subs dedicated to the case. They complain that abuse against men isn't treated seriously and that it needs the exact level of attention and resources as vi…

I've had this happen to me twice. One person said I must have been abused and have severe PTSD (because I was advocating for female victims of abuse), and the other I can't remember exactly but I think it was that because I was criticizing some shitty male behavior, it meant I must have been abused before. Hmm, so let's have a look at this man. 1) Is 33 but looks 40 2) Dresses like a slob 3) Very overweight Yet he feels qualified to give women dating advice (in his other videos) and judge them on how they choose to look. He's asking women to identify as 'not like other girls' and come running to him to prove themselves worthy of him. And good lord, there are lots of video responses of women being proud of themselves for meeting his criteria.

He just can't imagine that someone else thinks differently to him. Just because he can't stand being single, and needs to be with someone (anyone who comes along), he imagines that every other person feels that way. As well as being kind of gross, the analogy of the nice looking house with a low asking price doesn't make sense. A beautiful woman who remains single for a while probably has high standards (ie, the opposite of a low asking price).

Of course he's pretending he has noble reasons for this. "When we create embryos for the purpose of life, should we not define them as life, rather than as property?" Loeb argued in the editorial. "Does one person's desire to avoid biological parenthood (free of any legal obligations) outweigh another’s religious beliefs in the sanctity of life and desire to be a parent?" He also made an anti-abortion movie after all these events with Sofia.

I'd always heard about women being gold diggers, then I grew up and learned that it was men the whole time. Also, when women are gold diggers it's usually an arrangement agreed upon by both parties, and when men are the gold diggers they are sneaky leeches who offer nothing in return.

That's not really the point of my comment though. My point is that consuming collagen/gelatin is not evidence-based, it's all just protein and we consume/produce enough of it. No harm in taking it (other than the general concerns with animal protein), I just wanted to give my 2 cents because collagen supplements are not cheap.

There is no evidence for the use of collagen as a supplement. It's just protein, and is already abundant in your body. Nothing special. It's all marketing.

It starts with a brag about how thoughtful his boyfriend is, then ends with "do better", so it's focusing on the woman failing to be with a good man rather than the man being thoughtless/uncaring. You may be right about what his intended message was, and I agree that everyone is responsible for allowing negative people in their life, but the way this message was presented came across as patronising instead of uplifting. Even "you can do better" would sound a lot better to me.

It drives me crazy to hear men rationalise why they do nothing in situations like this. Usually it's 'they could have a knife or a gun' or 'you never know what they will do'. Yeah okay then, you coward, leave women to defend themselves while you cower in fear and convince yourself you're one of the good guys.

This is such a good point! It's so ironic that the misogynist men who like to say 'not all men' and 'women can be bad too' are often the same type to follow redpill, which uses the phrase "AWALT" (all women are like that). And big surprise, they don't use AWALT to refer to positive characteristics.

A fear of men doesn't necessarily mean they've been abused by a man or men, but I have noticed that men are more likely to disregard an animal's autonomy/space and just barge in demanding affection from the animal, even when they've just met. Women are more empathetic and tend to introduce themselves to an animal quietly and respectfully. Men are already scarier to animals because they are bigger and have deeper voices, but a lot of men don't realise that (much like how some don't realise their …

Notice how Ben Stiller's character initially appears to be sticking up for Winona, but then it becomes obvious what he cares about is Ethan Hawke not thinking he's cool. This is interesting, thanks for sharing. I think the young woman is mostly responsible for her own death. Yes, both the old and young man suck, but she is responsible for herself. You can't control others, you can only control your own behavior. Had the men been decent human beings, it wouldn't have happened, but that doesn't make them responsible for her decision to swim. Also, the wording annoys me. If he is a "young man", she should be a "young woman", not a "young girl". A girl is a child. I…

I find this post horribly offensive because clearly nobody here knows that a word can be both a noun and an adjective. Referring to a woman as 'a female' (ie, using the word as a noun) is disrespectful. Men who talk about women like this typically do it deliberately because they know it is disrespectful. Using the adjective 'female' is descriptive and not inherently disrespectful. For example, female doctor or female athlete.

I agree to some extent, but some men want A wife, as in ANY wife. They don't necessarily propose marriage very quickly because of the particular woman he happens to be dating. "he stands by his statement" What a piece of shit. It's one thing to say something dumb by accident, but his behavior afterwards shows he's either emotionally immature (he knows he's wrong but he can't admit it), or he's just a jackass who thinks his behavior is acceptable. Either is a dealbreaker.

This is a man trying to convince himself and the women around him that he has some power (what he means by 'value'). He's also trying to take away the women's power (acknowledging their attractiveness but saying it's declining). If it were true, he wouldn't have to say it, it would just exist. It only exists if he convinces others that it's true.
