I just got banned from r/offmychest for this very reason. The ultimate irony? My first ever comment on this sub was “Fuck mods.” Lol

Should I just always assume that noone cares about anything I have to say? Even if it's related to the conversation? Or is the problem that I wasn't "positive" or "supportive" enough?

Idk, to me participating on reddit feels like such a tight rope walk nowadays. God forbid you speak out of line or say something that OP's prompt didn't specifically ask for. What's wrong with adding to the conversation by pulling something from my personal experience? It's just banter, I didn't have any malicious intent behind it. It feels like there's no breathing room in discourse

Is it? From my perspective, it seemed like simple banter. I was just trying to contribute to the thread using my personal experience.

The "Ok" was a response to an auto reply informing me that my comment got removed (the comment that the auto-reply was replying to) Edit: Sorry, not auto-reply, just a mod's reply

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
