Did you have a stroke while writing this?

I'm a 32 yo Asian guy in a western country. Slept with more than 50 girls this year so far, mostly white girls and many of them very attractive. Don't lose hope and keep improving yourself my bro!

I've also had false rape accusations made or at least insinuated against me and I see where you're coming from. Let me clarify that I would never have sex with a girl who either doesn't consent or can't consent. Luckily, the justice system in my country is reasonable in that it recognises drunk consent is still consent. And the vast majority of men and women here acknowledge that that's not only lawful but also ethical. That aside, I also had good experience being open about my intentions in my …

I agree with not putting "Short-term goals" in the profile, but if it's a thirst trap then isn't that a reason to do it? I might have a different understanding of what thirst trap means!

I do think being open about your short-term intentions is likely to filter for girls who are also looking for the same thing. I.e., it will filter out girls who aren't looking for that. The issue is, the girls who were filtered out actually would have had sex on the first date. That might seem contradictory to what I said at the start, but let me explain. I think many girls don't actually know what they want. Or at least, what they want when they are sober at 10am swiping on Tinder at the office…

Yeah I went too far on "being honest and upfront" by blaring out the fact that I'm just trying to smash front and centre on my profile. Gotta remember the basics and keep things cool too

😂 I'm going back to leaving it blank bro. If she asks then I'll be straight up, but in a tactful and fun way.

That's insightful. Thank you. It makes perfect sense to me. I think I had that idea swirling around in my mind but couldn't quite capture and articulate it. Girls I closed with often mentioned how spontaneous and exciting the date was. You're absolutely right that advertising my intentions so blatantly from the get go gives no chance for that anticipation and mystery to build. And yes, I'm always conscious of being honest when the question is brought up! Time to update my profile. Really appreci…

Haha I would try that if that was one of the options Tinder gave, but it's either leaving that part of the profile blank or choosing one of the pre-defined answers like "Short-term fun", "Relationship", both, etc.

Yeah leaving it blank did lead to more reliable sex. My plan's to experiment with the "Short-term fun" option for another month then re-evaluate. Perhaps I'll go back to blank or try the other options. Could it be it's better to make them think I'm interested in both long-term and short-term, which is one of the options? Although I don't like leading them on.

Good point, I always go for the direct, upfront approach in chat when the question's asked. But should I do the same in my Tinder profile option that asks for "Relationship Goals"? I.e., stick with "Short-term fun"?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
