Married for 24, our mutual friends were couples (by her design). Now, trying to keep those friendships is like applying to become their 3rd wheel. Sure, they care about me, and the guys will ask to go to out for dinner when the wives have plans without them. I think it's mostly to hear the gossip of bad things are going for me, some fun content to report back to their wives, who are staying close to my STBX. Right now, I don't trust anyone with any kind of real personal info. I think you have to…

I find no matter how marriage ends, 1 year or 50 years, you’re bound to feel like a failure. Any good man will be first to blame themselves. This too shall pass.

I wouldn’t worry about it. You’re not going to get any tail by surfing Reddit while eating a pizza and drinking Coors until you pass out. If you’ve been married for some time, the chance of a virus will freak the shit out of you.

Keeper is FIPS-compliant. Couldn’t find another that was. Top notch. Just store your passwords, won’t take your porn, FYI.

I hear you. As soon as we filed for divorce, losing 27 years of invested effort to care and provide has me feeling like nothing matters…money, health, goals…just make sure the kids are ok. If the kids weren’t here, I may have cut all ties and walked the planet till I was eaten by a wild animal or fell down a cliff.

You should be writing less. Might help you focus on your wife.

Go back to the feeling you had right before you met her. I’ve been with my wife for 27 and remembering the person I was right before I met her is the thing that gives me confidence to be lonely-yet-interested.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
