I loved your dedication to it yeah 😂 although nothing is beating that sext you responded to by talking about vomiting up chicken.

My husband would have this cat out of our house so fast I wouldn’t even get an opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 04:29 PM

You have seen enough porn to last a lifetime tbf. I see 99% less dicks than I used to cause of you 😂😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 04:27 PM

Based based based
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 04:16 PM

You can absolutely say you prefer men to women here.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 04:07 PM

OH NO!!!! WHATEVER WILL THESE ANONYMOUS INTERNET STRANGERS THINK OF YOU IF YOU’RE POLITICALLY INCORRECT???? THE HORROOOOOR!!!!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:52 PM

You can just say woman bad. Don’t have to get all cryptic about it jeezo.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:46 PM

Oh you mean the one also responsible for 90% of the murders? I see, I see.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:46 PM

I am also noodle pilled
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:45 PM

Valid. But also. The fuck does noodle pilled mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:30 PM

A man of science and reasoning I see.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:29 PM

Divorced middle aged men and zoomers. What a beautiful combination. Well if we’ve got the whole gender wars stuff all done, maybe we can solve the Middle East next.

I don’t understand you 😂😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:26 PM

Well what reason did you give
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:24 PM

So did you guys figure out if men or women are worse yet? Not been here in a while. Assuming you got that stuff all ironed out by now.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:20 PM

Are you guys not speaking?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 03:09 PM

I spoke to him yesterday and he said he’s over it all and not really bothered by discord now so even if he’s in it he’s not active.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 02:55 PM

Both not in it :)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 02:52 PM

Yuk not there either and the alt of Bob is banned too
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 02:51 PM

Also he’s not in the new server so accept the invite goddammit.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 02:50 PM

Does Bob still comment in here?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 02:49 PM

Come back to discord!!!! Also how can you be a catholic now when you’re so pro abortion 😂😂😂😂

I wouldn’t have an issue dating a bi man. That being said, I think the prejudice against them is likely due to perceptions of sexual unfaithfulness, STIs and the plain old ingrained biphobic ick a lot of folks have.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 04:58 PM
1

If I was dating again. I’m mid 30s. I’d go 30 youngest and 45ish oldest but tbh if I met someone outside that range I liked who knows? But they wouldn’t be in my tinder range.

Shredded men are dull and neurotic. Next question.

4 days alone with only my thoughts? No Netflix or anything?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 04:53 PM
1

Yeah. I’d be fine with that on paper. Who knows if the reality of it would be something I could handle. Maybe I’d give it a go and then feel burdened.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 04:36 PM

No.

Not trying to be a dickhead here asking for sources, just genuinely want to read more into this and can’t find the 83% figure on Google. Where did you get this?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:38 PM

Whatever. I’m a feminist and I do more for men’s mental well-being than you do. I can guarantee it.

Oh no I have this dream frequently
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 09:44 PM

Yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 09:16 PM

He mentioned he’s quite a sensitive guy so I’m putting it down to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 09:05 PM

Erm. In this scenario I’m a divorced woman and I’d be fine with this tbh. Cause the thought of getting that intensely serious with another person again doesn’t appeal and so I don’t care if he’s fucking his ex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 06:30 PM

Depends how virile you are
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 06:09 PM

I work in a male dominated industry and while you may get the odd dickhead, 99% are professional and cool. None of what you’ve posted is universal to the female experience
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 06:03 PM

They’re nice to old women and women like my mum too. She always gets doors opened for her or asked to cut in line or whatever. Maybe it’s just a British thing then? I do think men are generally pleasant to be around. You get absolute arseholes obviously though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:56 PM

Is your mum a short British woman? 😂 cause same
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:51 PM

The absolute hatred for fat people online sickens me tbh. But I don’t know if it’s gendered. Seems to be shaming across the board.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:46 PM

Low self esteem and sense of self
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:39 PM

I have the opposite of whatever resting bitchface is
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:39 PM

Got the DIY I needed done completed ✅ Now for a celebratory beer and White Lotus.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:38 PM

Just @ me next time.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:35 PM

Yeah. Frequently told to “go out and don’t be a weirdo”, “stop reading and go to a nightclub (underaged), then you might get a boy to kiss you” and “what do you mean you only got 90% in your Chem test?”. My mum is a character
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:27 PM

Those fucks
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:22 PM

Don’t vaguepost. Tell me who I need to be mad at!!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:19 PM

I had parents that encouraged me to underage drink and go to parties but also to get straight As under pain of death. Not sure if that counts.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:19 PM
1

Yeah. I married the dude and he may be in his early 30s like me but he’s a pensioner at heart ❤️
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:17 PM

Erm. I wouldn’t say I’m all that attractive physically. But I’m smiley/pleasant/chatty/friendly. And men respond well to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:16 PM

It’s genuinely scary 😧
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:13 PM

Least you can’t catch anything from an online affair, bright side and all that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:12 PM

As a millenial woman I find men around me are still generally quite chivalrous. I guess this must be a gen z thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:09 PM

There are scary points. But it’s not common if things are going right.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:08 PM

Caring about rings is dumb AF
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:04 PM

That’s how I felt when I tried an opioid once. Most blissful experience of my life. Will never touch the stuff again.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 03:49 PM

Maybe she likes the humiliation.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 12:41 PM
8

I’d think he was a wanker but if that’s how he wanted to behave then good fucking riddance tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 11:46 AM

Oh just realised you weren’t OP. I think doing badly with the opposite sex is sadly something that happens to a lot of people. Without knowing you personally, it’s hard to pinpoint the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:48 AM

Question. Are these the women who are soft bullying, dick measuring, malevolent, talking behind backs etc
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:46 AM

I don’t mean to sounds like a bitch, but this may come across that way. If you come across a few assholes in day to day life, that’s a shame and I feel bad for you. But if the majority of places you are end up that toxic, then maybe it’s a you issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:38 AM

Hard to argue with this
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:33 AM

Do you just sit in your home with the tv off in silence?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:30 AM

Same!!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:30 AM

Fuck me, you must be paying a fortune.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:30 AM

Q4A what subscriptions are worth paying for?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:23 AM

Maybe that would make me feel less bad about how behind I am in home repairs
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:18 AM

A maybe you should drink more 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 10:17 AM

Oh neat. That sounds really cool. Enjoy

At the time I was convinced I wanted someone “more mature”. And so wanted older. I ended up dating someone from real life rather than the apps shortly after that and he was a year younger. So my preference/age range was stupid.

I think you’re reading stuff that isn’t there tbh. She knows she could have stopped it and that’s why she’s feeling so much shame and guilt. There’s no buck passing here.

In what way is she not taking accountability? To me, it looks like she blames herself throughout the post 🤷‍♀️

I was told men were terrible at housework too. I was told they’re useless at pretty much everything though tbf. Both my mum and my mother in law look at me like I’m crazy cause my husband irons his own shirts. He’ll mess it up apparently. Like I give a solitary shit about how well his shirt is ironed 😂

I was on tinder years ago age 23 and my age range was 23-29 I thiiiink. Maybe 23-30. Now, 11 years later I’d be going 30-40.

Are red pillers actually redpill these days? Seems like the old ways have died off.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 08:51 PM

Dating a guy you’re friends with first is nice. You get to a good level of trust early on which is sweet.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 08:18 PM

I was more meaning for fun tbh. Obv if your livelihood is at stake that makes for a less interesting question.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 08:09 PM

Sorta defeats the purpose of an either/or question
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 08:08 PM

My theory that men would mostly answer non fic and women would answer fic is coming true.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 08:05 PM

What sort of fiction do you like to read?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 07:54 PM

What sort of work do you do?

Q4A if you could only read fiction or non fiction for the rest of your life, what would you pick?

Paying for first dates - no, I’ve always paid half. Buying flowers weekly - no but flowers a couple times a year are nice. I buy him sweets. Sidewalk rule - nah Opening the door - he does it when I’m in a fancy outfit for a wedding or something as a joke but otherwise, no. Pulling out chair - no. But he always offers me the banquette seating which I prefer. That’s nice. That sucks my dude. Big hugs.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 07:18 AM

No it’s not. There’s frequent child marriage and rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 09:23 PM

But the Quran and bible have paedophilia and rape. So what you said originally makes no sense
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 09:23 PM

So you want to legalise rape of women and girls?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 09:16 PM

One thing these sorts of spaces taught me is how important it is for men to workout. I’ve never personally cared about it so thought it was unimportant but the facts speak for themselves. Being fit is hot and I encourage you all to get to the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 08:31 PM

I am similar and being with my husband has been great tbh because he is the type to spend when it will actually make our lives measurably better. It’s good if you get someone who balances out the frugal but doesn’t go too far.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:09 AM

Yeah so is murder. Obviously what I said is hyperbole. But the point stands. If a relationship isn’t working then best to head out
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:07 AM

Worst thing you can do is stay with someone when they’re not for you. It doesn’t matter if others see it as petty.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 01:54 PM
1

Exactly. No easy descriptions here.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:50 PM
1

Yeah don’t disagree with you. I disagree with op that only women will fuck up happy relationships. Some Men will cheat even if they love their wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:39 PM
1

Absolutely. My best friend is a guy. If my husband read our texts or was a fly on the wall in our conversation I know there would be nothing for my husband to worry about. When I started dating my husband, I made it clear I had male friends and he was cool with that. But it’s possible he could have left me If he wasn’t happy with that even if I’m faithful. Different couples expect different behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:38 PM
1

Hotttttttt
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:31 PM
1

Honestly? There’s no concrete answer here. Emotional cheating is vibes based and is almost a thought crime which makes it difficult to say it’s even happened. All I know is if my husband started seeming to prefer spending time with another woman rather than me I’d feel destroyed. The best description I’ve read was if you were worried the conversation you’re having with the opposite sex person was being viewed by your partner, that’s emotional cheating. But it’s not black and white.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:31 PM
6

I like males. And females. What’s the opposite of a misanthrope? That’s me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:21 PM
2

100% agree with all of this. I’d be more upset if there was emotional rather than physical cheating as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 06:09 PM
1

I wasn’t clear. Yes cheating is wrong. What I meant was that the woman is unhappy and cheats. Whether she has reason to be unhappy or not is what I meant by rightly or wrongly. The right thing to do if you’re unhappy is to leave obviously. Not cheat. But sometimes people wrongly don’t like their relationships for the wrong reasons and that’s what I was getting at. Does that make sense? Apologies for the confusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:59 PM
1

Misogyny ain’t cool my dude. Don’t get radicalised into hating women at such a young age.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:49 PM
1

All hate is natural. All love is natural. Emotions are natural. Humans are emotional beings. Is it logical? Is it correct? That’s another question.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:42 PM

I hope you find something that works for you too. Accepting it’s a thing is the first step and I wish you the best of luck.

I ended up getting some amazing friends who built me up and told me to stop accepting shit. I could never have done it on my own. I owe them everything.

Women typically cheat when they’re unhappy in a relationship (rightly or wrongly). Men will cheat even if they’re in love with their wives.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:38 PM
1

Oh man I get that. My mum shouted so much so I internalised it as being fine and I always backed down. Made me such a pushover as a teen and young adult. I was easily taken advantage of by toxic female friends and ended up in an emotionally abusive relationship in my late teens with a dude because I would back down whenever they raised their voice cause it grated on me so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:36 PM

I loved it but it was super stressful and I’d prefer if I’d got to spend more time with my husband at it. We were socialising so much I barely saw him. The ceremony was so nice though. And I’m so glad my family all saw I which wouldn’t have happened with an elopement. So. It had its positives too.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:31 PM

Weddings are insanely expensive, I had a big wedding but thankfully my parents were super generous. That being said, if I’d to do it again I’d elope instead.

How can you be looking for casual and dating with intention simultaneously?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:12 PM
1

The best way to respond to this in fundamentally unserious answers. Preferred mattress size? I would prefer it to be the entire size of the house so I can bounce from room to room. Who’s my celeb crush? Angela Lansbury.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:10 PM

None. They’re all in my husband’s head instead. But Zoloft helps thankfully.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:53 PM

I’d like to think if men are swiping right on this it’s for casual and not much else.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:51 PM

It’s just sad that they probably still get matches even with this bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:49 PM
1

Yeah definitely. Again with my ex, he told me he was 5’10. I mentioned this to a girlfriend recently and she was like “I’m 5’8 and he was shorter than me”. It didn’t even occur to me he’d lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:48 PM

My husband still hasn’t told me his celeb crush and we’re a decade on at this point. Rookie error here my man.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:46 PM

Jesus Christ it’s worse. There’s a reason these women are single.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:45 PM

My ex used to lie to me about his dick size. I was like “you are aware I can see it yeah?”
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:41 PM

People with lots of negative framing on their profiles are icky. I wouldn’t like a guy who posted “I don’t want any nonsense” or “I’m uncontrollable, so don’t try” in their bios would set off alarm bells. It just sounds assholish.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:39 PM
2

Ok I’ll explain my point more. If your girlfriend hides messages and rejects intimacy with you, then you might feel insecure and worried she’s cheating. IMO you would be entirely in the right about feeling insecure in that moment. Cause she’s behaving in a sus way. Do you get what I mean? You can be insecure and entirely justified in that insecurity.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:34 PM
2

In my brief time on apps a decade ago, most of the men were just dull or overtly sexual, not demanding like this. There were 3 guys I vibed well with in the short time I was on them though so overall they seemed like a good thing back then. They sound awful now.

God. If my male friends started dating a woman like that I’d give them a slap round the head. Red flags a plenty
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:21 PM

Yeah. I think you’re right that it can be a thing people do when younger but as you mature you get better at avoiding this. Good point.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:18 PM

It’s the number of people saying they’re 7 inches or women saying their bf is 7 inches that kills me tbh.

Male thighs. Male backs. male calves. Male butts. Male genitals. It’s all good baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:12 PM

Oh. That sucks man. I’m sorry you feel that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:10 PM

That’s communication for you. Yeah you might upset someone but if you think you’re not upsetting them giving them the silent treatment I got news for you buddy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:09 PM
1

Ok. Well I couldn’t be with someone who does that personally. It’s annoying as shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:08 PM
2

Yeah I’d agree. I can 100% live with this arrangement and I know that cause I have done so for years. He more than makes up for it in other ways. Small price to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:06 PM
1

Yeah. Sure, obviously being asked if you’re angry when you’re not is annoying. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about thinly veiled seething.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:58 PM
2

Saying you’re not mad when you clearly are is weird. Being in a mood and not just saying how you feel is childish to me. Thankfully my husband doesn’t do it but I have had experience of it in the past and I cba with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:57 PM
3

I think you’ve misunderstood tbh. I’m talking about men pretending they’re fine when they’re clearly not lol. Not just keeping quiet in an argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:54 PM
5

Tbh the thing that annoys me about how some men deal with anger is often that they’ll say they’re fine when it’s clear they’re not. They think they’re being stoic or whatever, but you can see they’re seething inside. Cba with that at all. Tell me why you’re mad, I can then apologise and we can move on or I can say I’m not going to apologise and I think I’m in the right and leave them to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:40 PM
1

Fixed.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:27 PM

Tbh I can’t say I’m 100% happy with the split of household chores in my home but I’ve made my peace with it. No point whining. I’m always gonna be pulling extra weight because I like the blouse cleaner than he does. It is what it is,
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:20 PM
3

Loads of people are insecure. I’m insecure about lots of things. If you’re worried your girl is gonna cheat, then you’re feeling insecure. Whether it’s justified or unjustified insecurity is another matter entirely.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:40 PM

People don’t like to be corrected all the time even if it is better in the long term. It makes them feel bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:29 PM

Q4A: thoughts on having kids out of wedlock?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:27 PM

Yeah I’d say that’s a red flag. That type of thing is fine from time to time but gets grating long term
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:27 PM

Why doesn’t it appeal though? I’m trying to understand why other than just “nah not for me”. What is it about marriage you like. I’m married fyi. I know my own reasons. Just intrigued to hear other peoples
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:14 PM

What does marriage provide you that you desire? Full disclosure, I’m married. So I obv see it as worthwhile.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:09 PM

Fair 😂😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:07 PM

You can be with someone for life and have kids without marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:07 PM

Why do you need to get married?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:07 PM

I bought my house unmarried and it’s pretty simple if you sort out with a lawyer, but I agree about the kids thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:07 PM

Fair. I wouldn’t have kids outside of marriage either.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:04 PM

Why do you only date for marriage?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:02 PM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:02 PM

Religious?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:01 PM

This is lovely. Best of luck. Marriage is a joy when you’ve got the right person.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:00 PM

Sure makes sense. But sometimes the need to carry on your genes makes people overlook stuff. But based on what you’ve said, you’re less bothered about that. Which is fair. Thanks for answering.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:00 PM

Fair. You’re young so that makes sense. I wasn’t keen on marriage at 22 either

What’s ideal
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:55 PM

What would it take to change your mind
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:55 PM

Do you want kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:53 PM

Q4W. Would you date a man long term if he was anti marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:52 PM

Do you want kids without marriage though? My opinions on this are that outcomes for kids of married parents are much better. Is that something that bothers you?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:51 PM

Fair. That’s my view on marriage too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:48 PM

Do you want to be a dad someday? How do you feel about marriage for kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:48 PM

Don’t even know what that is but now I want to go to Chicago.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:47 PM

So not even neutral between the sexes. You’d want the upper hand?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:45 PM

So….thats a no
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:44 PM

What would make it a yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:44 PM

Q4M would you ever get married?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:40 PM

As I said, I think that’s wrong. So there’s no point us really talking about it further. Nice discussion though my man
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:05 PM
1

And that’s where we disagree. I would call myself a feminist, and I do not think men are the enemy. Women and men cause the system we live in.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:57 PM
1

Sure. I don’t think people should “go after” men. I’d agree on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:54 PM
1

Again. Feminism isn’t all one belief. There’s a million different varieties of feminism. Like most ideologies. Capitalism, conservatism, liberalism, communism. There’s a million strains of each.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:46 PM
1

Yeah sadly you’re always gonna be damned if you do, damned if you don’t. It’s the world we live in. Can’t please everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:42 PM
1

I’m confused. Who’s hating on men here?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:38 PM

Yeah it’s not a zero number. But I think it’s less common than the other way around
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:32 PM

I get that. I can’t say I’m always pleased with it tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:31 PM

I initiate sex more than him but again I think this is likely unusual as most relationships will have a higher libido man and a lower libido woman. I tell him he’s hot pretty much all the time too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:28 PM

Variety is the spice of life. Mix it up. Always keep her guessing. She sounds like she’s into you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:22 PM

Yeah. I would say I make my husband feel desired and make an active effort to do so. But this is anecdotal. I don’t know what most relationships are like.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:21 PM

As I just said, the orgasm gap exists I just don’t agree that the woman who posted that is representative of the reason for the majority of the orgasm gap. if we take the orgasm gap as 90%-60%=30%. That’s around 30% less women than men orgasming during hetero sex. So 1/3 less women than men are getting the big O. Substantial numbers, sure, but not a majority. If we then assume half (pure speculation as there are no figures on this) are due to men like OP’s partner who dgaf and half are due to ot…

Well the problem this woman had was that her husband didn’t listen to her when she explained what she needed in bed. I guess it makes sense that the type of woman who appear in a men vs women debate sub would be very open with their partner about what they need in bed and I think most men get turned on by pleasuring their partners so would make the effort. If I’d to guess as there’s no data on this, the woman’s example of “men just ignore us when we tell them what we want in bed” is probably res…

It’s been a while since I checked, but iirc the orgasm gap was like 60% of women orgasm while 90% of men do during Hetero sex for one survey. I think she was incorrect to assume her experience was the norm which is what she seemed to imply. The orgasm gap imo isn’t caused by men not caring, it’s caused by human evolution. Women don’t need to orgasm for a baby to pop out. Men do. Therefore, from an evolutionary standpoint it makes sense men’s orgasms are more common as they’re required for the sp…

Q4A would you rather be single for the next 5 years or be in a relationship with someone you aren’t attracted to for the next 5 years (and you can’t cheat)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:28 AM

Worse things than being single imv.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:22 AM

I think having the mentality of “if I’m not getting what I want from this relationship/arrangement, I should up and leave and get with someone that does match what I need” is a good boundary to have. People stick in shitty situations for far too long cause they’re scared of being alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:19 AM

Sure but she hasn’t found a husband yet? I find it hard to believe she hasn’t found a dude after all these years that she doesn’t want to marry given what she says. Seems a little bit hypocritical but whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 08:58 AM
3

Abundance mentality is a good thing to have I’d say. I can’t imagine most incels here would feel they can have what you have though. What you’re saying is easier said than done,
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 08:33 AM

Does pearl not have a boyfriend? I’d assume someone preaching about women’s high standards would have more reasonable ones herself and not be single. How odd.

I like this cause it means I can give him half my food too and not get fat.

Is civil war worth going to see?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 06:26 AM

I’ve even had men I had casual with go down on me unprompted so I don’t know where you’re getting the idea men do this out of a sense of obligation. My husband loves when I sit on his face. As for why I like blowjobs? As a straight woman, I like dicks. The reaction you get from a man when you have his dick in your mouth is wonderful and a huge turn on. You sound like an alien trying to understand humanity.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/24 05:16 AM

Anyone giving you grief about childhood friends should be kicked to the curb immediately. That’s step 1 in coercive control.

If I was her I’d assume you don’t like me all that much.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 06:20 PM

You hadn’t kissed her by date 4?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 06:15 PM

Well that’s up to him to do. If he wants to end the friendship I understand but if there’s something I can do to make things easier and to keep the friendship I’d try
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 05:45 PM

Yeah I’d be fine with that. I’d be sad losing a friend so anything I could do to make it easier for him I would do.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 05:29 PM

I’ve dated multiple men I’ve been friends with first. I think it works really well and I’d be fine with a friend hitting on me as long as takes no for an answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 05:24 PM

Yeah I have a PHD, a perfect handjob degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 03:07 PM

This happened to a girl at my high school (minus the job part) when we I was 15. She basically lost all her friends because she was seen as some sort of slut but she was a literal child and her revenge porn was being bluetoothed from phone to phone. Fucking horrid. Thankfully she seems to be doing fine now from what I see on Facebook.

This is my experience from the other side. I think with my ex I had no idea what I was doing and he never corrected me. My husband taught me how to give a good one by showing me how it’s down himself. It’s a fun class and the teacher gave me an A+.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 02:52 PM
1

It definitely takes a while to learn. I encourage any women interested in giving a good handjob to ask their partner to jerk off in front of them and watch how they do it and then copy that. Because he knows better than you what feels good.

I saw a 70 year old man with a sugar baby in her late 20s in a bar once and the absolute volume of selfies of the both of them that girl took baffled me. Who wants to see you kissing a pensioner on insta?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 12:24 PM

As I said, I wouldn’t have unprotected with a man outside of a relationship. And I trust my relationship partners not to fuck someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 09:58 AM
1

Sure I agree. I wouldn’t be having sex without a condom if I was a man. But I’m not a man. So I can have all the unprotected sex I desire if I find a man who trusts me to not baby trap him. Which I have.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 07:56 AM
2

Have never seen a guy on here with this take. Interesting. Do you get much pushback?

I am a woman and can go on birth control and I have.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 07:50 AM

So I would never have unprotected sex outside of an LTR cause of STDs, but I have to say, sex without a condom is just better. Feeling the guy cum inside is amazing. It’s just hotter I don’t make the rules.

Nope. Not yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 10:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 10:31 PM

Beautiful. No notes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 10:31 PM
4

No sex in over a month despite being married. Sometimes life is busy and it doesn’t happen. I genuinely think if it happened to most people here they’d assume cheating or betabuxxing.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 07:52 PM
1

No one gave a shit that my diamond was lab grown. Glad I don’t have family or friends like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 03:36 PM
2

Am I misunderstanding here? Do you think blackout drunk people can consent?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 02:10 PM
3

Meh. Bullying can be anything from name calling over a particularly intense 2 week period to years of physical and mental torment. It’s such a broad bracket I can imagine most people fall in this category.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:17 PM
1

No they won’t. You’re absolutely correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:11 PM
2

I think this is veryyyyy true. I don’t like sex when I’m just home from work or I’ve just finished cleaning the house or working out cause I typically feel undesirable. I’m sweaty, my hair is a mess, my make up is all over the place. My breath maybe smells bad from the sandwich I had earlier. I just feel gross. I am not in the sexy headspace. But if I take some time to shower and brush my teeth, maybe put on some cute underwear I’m very much ready to go. Even though my husband will happily fuck …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 11:19 AM
5

As the primary earner in my household and the person who’ll need to pay alimony if the relationship turns south, I think the fears of it are pretty overblown. Like fair enough if you don’t wanna take the risk, makes complete sense, don’t do it, but people genuinely act on here like it’s some sort of death sentence. IDGI.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 10:39 AM
2

So it sounds to me consensually very risky as you can’t know if the person wants it or not before you do it (unless you’ve previously agreed some sort of free use situation). But if they enjoy it, then obviously you’re not gonna catch a rape charge cause why would they take it to the police? Consent is incredibly complicated. There’s not an easy rape/not rape line in the sand. It’s case by case.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 10:10 AM
2

I don’t really get what you’re asking. Are you asking if you penetrate a half sleeping person and they tell you they enjoy it is a rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 10:02 AM
4

If you plank the lips on or grope a half sleeping person as a means to initiate sex and they join in, you have not “raped” anyone but what you did was absolutely consensually very risky. But no court would try you for that because the person woke up and had consensual sex with you. If you touch and grope a half sleeping person and the person wakes up tells you to fuck off creep, then you haven’t committed rape. You have sexually assaulted them though. Given the nature of this type of crime, it’s…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 09:55 AM

Can you get someone to look after your baby for a little while on a regular basis and give you guys some alone time? A date night? Y’know. Something like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 09:38 AM

I don’t think that would be classified as rape in court but IANAL.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 09:13 AM

If a guy is black out drunk and a woman or man has sex with him, then yeah, that is rape. And doesn’t count as him cheating if he has partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 08:56 AM

Hey he’s paying. I could fall asleep anywhere. I’m shorter and find plane travel relatively easy also. If he tried to give it to me I wouldn’t have accepted anyway. “No you paid honey, please go ahead” and if he insisted I’d try to swap mid way through so he could experience some of it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:44 PM

If he asked my opinion I’d be happy and have no problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:35 PM

I gave my conditions in my initial post. If his name was on that ticket and he didn’t have a choice that’s fine too. It’s the “without further explanations” I’m having an issue with. Him making decisions for the group like that with no input just makes him seem insensitive to me which is only gonna get worse throughout a relationship. Like he thinks cause he pays, he sets the rules. That’s not a relationship that’ll work for me and why if I’m honest I would not allow a man to pay for my full vac…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:31 PM

I’d dump him when we were home. The only reasonable response is to flip a coin or to swap half way through. You can’t offer to take someone out for a meal, give them a salad while you munch on steak. It’s not a good look.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:16 PM

100%
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:13 PM

I’d do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:12 PM

No. It wouldn’t be an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:10 PM
2

Is this a sex thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 02:34 PM
2

Normally I’m a 1/2/ max 3 a week type person but when I’m ovulating it’s every day multiple times a day if I can get it (which I usually can’t cause I have a job and responsibilities). Haven’t noticed a change in preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 02:30 PM
2

I’ve now been off birth control for 4 months and as much as I loved being on it and would still recommend it’s use, it’s really interesting to me how much more horny I am when not on it and going through ovulation. Genuinely feel like a woman possessed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 01:18 PM
3

How’s getting the sub shutdown going?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:36 AM
1

“Hey girl, meet Ydults. He’s one of the manosphere guys I like to argue with on the internet. He doesn’t think women should have the votes and only cares about the fact you’re a virgin. You guys will hit it off I’m sure”. Surprisingly, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 11:08 AM
1

Well if he’s waiting for marriage to have sex, then he’s likely gonna find a girl that doesn’t matter to, or they’ll be married before she knows anything about it. The reason he’s cumming in his pants is cause he clearly doesn’t have any other outlet so kissing is overstimulating him.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 11:04 AM
3

So I can try and explain some of this. A guy who orgasms quickly the first time you get together isn’t an issue. It honestly makes you feel really desired and hot. Like he can’t control himself cause you’re so fucking hot. And typically, when you first get with a guy, he’s ready to go again relatively quickly so it’s not a problem. If a guy premature ejaculates and then has an overly long refractory period. Or seems to prematurely ejaculate every time, I can see that being an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:54 AM
1

I often think in these situations, that although the guy is right to be upset by his girlfriend’s POV, starting the name calling sort of causes him to lose a teeny bit of the moral high ground. Saying something along the lines of “I’m very disappointed in you, you’re not the person I thought you were” is a much more devastating thing to say to someone than “gross” and avoids the negatives associated with name calling.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:46 AM
1

Oh well. I’ve never been fashionable so I’ll just stick with the pasty white look. Fake tan is far too much effort and I only have to think about the sun before I start to burn.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:42 AM
1

I have a friend that’s fucked around so much I couldn’t even guess her n count and a friend that’s a virgin in her 30s. What does that say about me?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:39 AM
1

A job doing what? What deformity do you have?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:36 AM

A man needs a baseline of attractiveness for me to be attracted to him. Although that baseline has dropped in the past when I’ve been drunk. I wouldn’t date a man I didn’t happily want to suck the dick of when sober though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:31 AM
1

We were talking about women and men’s suffrage and the draft and then you just randomly brought up free speech laws as if it was some sort of gotcha? I’m genuinely baffled.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:22 AM
1

Do you often change the subject when you’re losing arguments? Hilarious. Sure I know what free speech is and I’m pro free speech. What a fucking Segue.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 10:15 AM
2

I try to be like this and I manage for the most part. It absolutely makes my day to day life better. I wish I was one of those people who could do it naturally
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 09:51 AM
1

The United Kingdom.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 09:48 AM
1

Well “successful” societies throughout history didn’t let men who grew up dirt poor vote either. So I don’t see how your argument makes sense. Both not letting dirt poor men and not letting women bigoted are wrong in my opinion but you seem oddly ok with it. I don’t agree with men needing to agree to the draft to vote and I’m glad it’s not the case in my country. The US is barbaric.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 08:37 AM
1

Ok. Well you have provided no examples of what successful society you’re talking about that allowed suffrage for all men and no women and was “successful” by your standards. As I said initially, voting was for rich men. Like in the UK, all men didn’t get the vote til about 100 years ago. It’s really that recent. I’m not sure what other country’s histories are but I can imagine it’s been much the same across the board. Only rich men until relatively recently. I’m assuming you’re a man of working …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 07:55 AM
2

Very true.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 07:36 AM
1

Exactly what? All societies restrict women therefore restricting women is good? That’s not even circular logic. I don’t even know what that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 07:34 AM
1

I can’t name a civilisation that didn’t restrict women full stop my man.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 07:27 AM
1

Not an answer to my question. This whole chat about “successful civilisations” sounds like a fallacious argument to me if you can’t give examples. Like you’re going off vibes rather than facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 06:54 AM
1

There are plenty of reasons a guy can’t a girlfriend. It’s not 100% one thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 06:44 AM
1

It’s not a dealbreaker. I’d go on a few dates, hear him out. Might have a perfectly good reason
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 06:42 AM
1

What civilisations are you speaking about specifically? Cause most of those civilisations didn’t have suffrage for normie men either. And they don’t tend to be around now. So can’t have been that successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 06:39 AM

Trans masc talking about testosterone effects. “This is obviously subjective, but before going on T, I had a fairly high interest in sex, and I masturbated most days. But I didn’t have a high libido—a physical urge to have sex. For most of my life, having sex wasn’t so much about my physical pleasure as it was about seeking validation. I didn’t even let other people touch me that much whenever I had sex. Within two months of going on T, I suddenly had an insatiable sex drive. It got to the point…

People who hate POC will rage no matter the situation. They’re far too easily triggered and no amount of model minority behaviour fixes it.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 04:29 PM

I’d take that as an insult. Someone saying they’d assumed you’d have a small dick implies that there is something about you that makes them think of small penises and all the negative connotations humans associate with that.

Women don’t want to put their weight into a dating app. The dating apps want to encourage women to be on dating apps. The dating apps don’t add weight filters. It’s really that simple.

It can be many reasons but I’ll give an example: Sex is a two person job. Sometimes you’re tired and you know you could orgasm in less than a minute if you were left to do it yourself but it would go on much longer if you were both together and you had to focus on another persons pleasure as well as your own.

The question is basically are you fine with your wife having sexy time on her own even when you’re around for sex. I’m trying to understand if people are fine with this or have an issue with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 01:11 PM

Based on the other comments, people generally see this as realistic and entirely reasonable.

Q4A if you were married to someone and had an otherwise fulfilling sex life, would you be upset if you found out at least once a week they stay up later than you so they can watch porn and masturbate rather than have sex. Basically - would you be mad if your partner preferred to masturbate every so often rather than have sex with you assuming they still like having sex with you too it’s just they really like their alone time as well.

Feminists: we aren’t currently equal to men. Geselshaft: women can’t be equal to men cause they are upset about not being equal. Is this meant to be some sort of gotcha? Cause if so, it’s confusingly worded.

Hahaha 🤣 or maybe I’m just overly forgiving of social faux pas. Who knows?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 10:29 AM
2

Sure. But the only way to find out is to ask. If a guy wants first date sex, the only way he’s gonna know if she’s up for it is to ask her back to his for coffee and make a move. Guys waiting for the girl to make the first move are not gonna get as far as guys willing to make the first move. No matter how unfair, or “risky” they perceive it to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 10:28 AM
2

Sure. I’m just saying if they wanna be timid, they can’t then expect “first date sex like Chad”. Sucks to have to make the first move and possibly be rejected but them’s the breaks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 10:21 AM

I don’t know if it’s cause I talked a lot beforehand to the men I dated, I thankfully never got to experience a guy on the first date completely fuck up. Hell, my husband turned up late to our first date and we still ended up in bed.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 10:19 AM
2

I have. Just not on the first date. My ex, when it got to date 3 and he hadn’t kissed me yet for example (he was too nervous). What I’m saying is, he’d have gotten a kiss sooner if he’d have initiated. His own nervousness caused the delay. It wasn’t cause I was unattracted.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 10:17 AM

The thread about making the first move on a date with a woman is reminding me of my own dating history. On the first date, 100% of guys who moved in for a kiss or even escalated to sex, I was more than happy to go along with. I wouldn’t be on a date with them if I didn’t find them physically attractive. The guys who didn’t go in for a kiss, I didn’t kiss. The guys who didn’t ask me round to theirs, I didn’t go to theirs. My thoughts are one of these men that I went on a date with and didn’t kiss…

I like to be able to handle myself, provide for myself and look after myself. I don’t want my husband to think I just keep him around cause I can’t do anything without him and need him to run after me and pay my bills. I want him to know I have him around me cause I love him with all my heart, I am deeply attracted to him and respect him immensely.

Based on the various conversations I’ve had with suicidal, anxious and depressed people and the scientific background of mental health issues and healthcare, I have to say I think your “think yourself better” model is overly simplistic.

Other women wear heels at events/night clubs/parties and I don’t like to stand out so I wear them too. I don’t wear them when I don’t have to. Sometimes I wear them out for a date etc. because I know my husband finds me really sexy in heels and I aim to please. To summarise, I wear them for all sorts of reasons.

I don’t want a guy who makes 100k, pays for dates or provides for me (well I need him to provide during the 3 months of maternity leave I won’t get paid but otherwise I’m fine). I also don’t care about passport bros as long as they aren’t going to these countries to manipulate women (offering green cards for sex for example even when they have no intention of following through on that). If they’re just dating women or having transactional sex with women I don’t care.

30% paternity fraud rates isn’t accurate. The 30% refers to a self selected group of men who are needing to test because they know/suspect infidelity/non committed sex could have lead to someone else being the parent. It’s not 30% of all fathers. Paternity fraud rates are down at like 1%ish.

My husband and I were only meant to be a fling for a few months too. Then the thought of breaking up was ludicrous to us. So we’re still together a decade later.

Ask him to go with her instead and do some other type of house labour. He’s much better with interiors than me.

I always have this though too

My opinions on marriage are as follows. Women having kids without being married are making a mistake. If men want kids, they need to put a ring on it. I wouldn’t be getting pregnant without legal safety nets.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 08:33 AM

The religious people I know either got married at 21/22 or never got married tbh.

Women. Do you care if your partner watched porn? Why or why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 08:16 AM

Exactly! People with poor money management are a red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 07:52 AM

I’ll be physically attracted to my husband no matter what he weighs I think but I’d be genuinely he concerned for his health if he gained 100lb from when we first got together. He’s gained about 50 at this point and I think he’s hot AF though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 10:05 PM

I’m married lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 09:43 PM

Nothing could make me lower my standards for marriage. You’re legally tying yourself to someone for life. That’s something you absolutely should have high standards on.

Don’t care what he earns but he needs to be responsible with whatever money he does earn. I’d rather a poorer guy living in his means than a rich one spending money on bullshit.

Although I’m married, say something awful happened and I had to get back on the dating scene again I’d be happy getting with a guy who’d never been in a relationship.

I don’t know anyone who thinks about passport bros tbh apart from the permanently online. I have a step-cousin doing it and my family is more worried for him being scammed than anything else.

The anti porn stuff always confuses me cause a fun activity is my husband asking me to pick out a vid (or he picks one out) then we watch it together and then copy whatever happens. It’s fun. It’s not affecting our libido or sex life in a negative way. It enhances it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 06:34 PM

It’s not a gotcha. I just don’t see any in here so I don’t think there is

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 03:01 PM

Yeah. Definitely better if staying single if this is a requirement. Humans beings are hormonal meat sacks. They’re gonna find other people attractive unless they’re on the asexual spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 02:57 PM

Are you not the guy that said a woman even finding another guy attractive is not good enough?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 02:53 PM

I don’t need a man but I want one (my husband specifically). I picked him not out of need but out of love/desire/friendship. I’d not have kids if I didn’t find a husband. If my husband didn’t want kids I wouldn’t have them.

All this would you care if a man went to a sex worker, what would you do if your partner used porn, what would you do if your partner turned out to be high n comments are sort of ridiculous cause humans aren’t going around broadcasting the unsavoury things about themselves and then by the time it’s out you caught feelings. I have a friend who to this day is still dating a man who lied about his age on the first two dates. I have a friend who has paid off her husbands gambling debts twice. I have…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 07:07 AM

My ex? He was 18.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 06:54 AM

It doesn’t appeal to me personally. I was in a relationship with a guy who I believed had lost his virginity to a sex worker (he told people that) but when him and I got together and got to the bedroom it was clear he had been lying about that and was still a virgin. Other guys I know who’ve been to sex workers did it on a stag weekend in Amsterdam. I don’t know any habitual users of them but I doubt I’d be told if any of the men I know were so maybe they’re out there every night. Idk.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 06:20 AM

I wanna see an 8/10 gnome now. Sounds hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 06:15 AM

Gambling addiction (which is basically what crypto is) is a bitch. Hope she can move on and the guy gets some mental help.

As long as he’s not lying Idc. You don’t owe anyone your internal thoughts and feelings. You don’t owe anyone your life story. Although I find it hard to believe I’d be at the marriage stage with someone too scared to tell me anything. He sounds a bit too closed off for my liking.

I wish I could do a poll of ppd members but I can’t - if it was entirely legal where you live (if it isn’t already) currently, regulated and monitored for scamming etc, would you pay for sex? Why or why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 08:05 PM

Never thought this before.

A philosopher of our times right here. This gave me a good chuckle.

I’m not sure what you mean by “what made me think that?”. If you mean what made me think there are less consequences for women being vulnerable in a relationship then I’d say that was everything you posted to me tbh. What you said was the consequences for men disclosing information is that they could be broken up with. You didn’t give me any consequences for women disclosing vulnerable information? Like, they might be dismissed and feel sad but it’s unlikely it would result in a breakup. So do y…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 01:15 PM
3

Ok just realised this is from Obama’s memoir hahahahha
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 12:48 PM
1

Which is why I said you have and haven’t answered my consequences. What I’m trying to nail down here is. Perhaps men dismiss women more, however, as there may be less consequences for women when their feelings are dismissed than there are for men it may mean we notice it less. Whereas there could be a smaller number of men having their feelings dismissed by women cause the men are so aware of possible consequences that they just don’t bother sharing at all? Does this seem likely/unlikely?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 12:44 PM
1

This does and doesn’t answer my question. I think this more answers “why do men not share their feelings more” which is not what I wanted to know. What I wanted to know is why you believe women being dismissive is more common than men being dismissive. I’m not sure what you’ve shared covers that. What you shared more likely covers consequences for men who do. Do you get the distinction I’m trying to make? I’m talking about overall prevalence, not overall negative outcomes.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 12:34 PM
1

What’s this from?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 12:25 PM

Ok. Now we are getting to where I wanted to get to From my original comment. Why do you think the female dismissing males dynamic is more common than the male dismissing females dynamic? What makes you believe this?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 12:13 PM
1

Not really answering any of my questions here. I already understand this POV. I’ve read about it extensively. That’s why I’m asking the questions above which I haven’t heard much about.

There’s been a lot of comments from men talking about experiences they’ve had with women where their feelings and vulnerabilities were not taken seriously and it backfired on them. And I don’t doubt that tbh. People suck. But I don’t think this is an exclusively female on male phenomenon and I believe male on female as well as same sex relationships, friendships and familial relationships also have these issues. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Do we think one of these examples above is more prevalen…

I have nothing to add to this other than to say your post perfectly encapsulates my own point of view. My parents were married and divorced, they had me and I’m loved greatly by both of them and they’re completely amicable. Both went on to fall in love and marry other people and live very happy lives that they wouldn’t have had if they’d stayed together. Serial monogamy for the purpose of raising kids is the reason humans were so evolutionary successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 10:45 AM

Tbh I think the “I expect a man to pay cause I’m doing my makeup and hair” is post hoc rationalisation for explaining why it is somehow reasonable to expect a man to pay for you in this day and age. It’s not the reason they want you to pay. I’d say wanting a man to pay is more just wanting him to show investment up front. I’m not sure though that’s just me guessing. I always went 50/50 when I was single.

My husband said he wouldn’t want to be a homemaker but he’d be happy to be the person to go part time out of the two of us when we have kids as I earn more.

I’m so glad we all agree Papa Johns isn’t even worth discussing here.

Luke Littler the 16 year old darts player I was talking about earlier came runner up in the tournament. £200,000 at aged 16 is impressive and there will be more to come in the future. Best of luck to the dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:54 PM

Line up gentlemen. We have a Stacy in town.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:48 PM

I’m very much happy the generations before me fought for my right to have my own bank account, pay my way and take maternity leave if I decide to have kids. I’m very lucky to be born in this day and age. Any woman moaning about gaining these rights is being incredibly shortsighted.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:24 PM

Yeah. Also wanting to makeup after an argument is fairly normal too. Idgi.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:21 PM

I just want consenting adults to have the sex they want dude
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:14 PM

I’m not a woman who believes in waiting for marriage and I don’t think many people here are, maybe another subreddit on celibacy before marriage could help you out?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:02 PM

I can’t wait to be a sahm so I can not clean or look after kids and just go for brunches and manicures instead while I dead bedroom my husband even though he works 80 hours a week to pay for my lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 10:01 PM

My husband lived with a straight female roommate and I lived with a straight male one with no issues so you’re likely worrying over nothing. But if it’s something that’s gonna eat you up inside best letting her know.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 07:59 PM

I don’t think either of those are attractive qualities tbh. A woman isn’t dating a guy based on either of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 06:47 PM
1

Doesn’t matter. I know plenty of women that have gotten into all sorts of things cause the guy they like is into it. Anime, video games, football. You name it tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 06:37 PM

If a girl likes you she’ll show interest in anything you’re interested in. I watched the entirety of Seinfeld in a week cause the guy I liked said it was one of his favourite shows.

I asked my husband about mandatory tests and he was like “what the fuck do I want the government to collect my dna for???”. He found out his sibling got a 23 and me kit for his parents for a “fun” present and he was absolutely furious about it. There are a number of reasons men aren’t keen on it despite the fact it’s pushed in here a lot.

Dunno, it just seemed like you might be mad and I was confused. If a guy asked for my Snapchat at the gym I’d do the same. So I just wondered if people thought that was rude and that she was assuming too much. I don’t think my husband would be happy with me adding random gym dudes on social media so I assumed most guys would be fine with it going this way. But it seems you aren’t annoyed at her so I misread.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 08:27 AM

What sounds too performative to be unbothered. What?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 08:17 AM

It really won’t. If a guy asked me out, I said no and then he asked if I was trans I’d know he was just throwing a little hissy fit. Pretty sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 07:12 AM

It’ll just sound like sour grapes tbh and she’ll laugh at you and how pathetic you are with her friends. I’d just walk away totally unbothered. Abundance mindset is the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 06:54 AM

I’m trying to connect those dots but I’m ngl I’m struggling.

I feel bad for those missing out on opposite sex friendships. My best friend is a guy. My husband picked him as an usher at our wedding. We’ve been on holiday with him multiple times. Wild that people think this is impossible.

She said weird not creepy. It’s unusual behaviour to buy a girl you’re not romantically involved with flowers.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 01:51 PM

The comments seem to say he’s in the right but he’ll struggle with 8 in his late 30s/early 40s. Who’s calling it shallow?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 11:55 AM

It wouldn’t make any difference. If you’re sharing intimate details with a girl and I’m hearing her name pop up a lot in conversation, I’m not gonna act mad or jealous. I’ll be completely calm and chill. You’ll have no idea. But I can assure you, I’d be carefully following what’s happening. Watching out for changes in behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 11:49 AM

If I was your gf I’d have clocked that girl’s name and I’d make a mental note of it any time you mention her. I’d keep an eye on any escalation. I’d act perfectly normal and fine like I was cool with her and not jealous at all but inside…that girl would be on my “to watch out for” list. I wonder if this is normal or if I’m a psycho. Just giving you my own insane insight to do with what you will.

I have different views on cheating than most people here mate. Including women. I’d forgive my partner for having a one night stand with someone else and owning up. I wouldn’t forgive an affair. One could feasibly be a mistake. The other is too deliberate to be ignored. It’s my personal opinion though. People can set whatever boundaries they want. This is mine. Although it’s all hypothetical as I can’t imagine my husband cheating ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 04:06 PM

Loads of successful men get escorts when they could easily get a sexually interested woman for free. It’s just less effort to pay for something if all you’re interested in is sex. If that’s all you want, no strings sex, and you have spare cash why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 02:25 PM

Sounds about right
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 02:02 PM

I’d look after the baby. Not the baby’s fault and I’d want my kids to know any siblings they have. My husband would have a lot of grovelling to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 11:34 AM

Absolutely.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:42 PM

Go get it if you want. Not for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:55 PM

I don’t agree with your assessment. I see plenty of women laughing at other women’s cellulite or wrinkles. I’ve heard plenty of men laugh at each other for being bald. Humans can be mean about appearance sadly.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 02:35 PM

It’s not divorce I’m worried about. It’s going from being really happy to being miserable. There’s plenty of couple together who can’t fucking stand one another and I certainly don’t want that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 01:33 PM

For sure. I’d be trying all the meds I could to keep it. Don’t blame them at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 01:31 PM

Anyone acting that way about someone’s appearance is a dick. That being said, I think advising a friend to give shaving a go if their hairline is receding is decent advice. We live in a shallow world and it pays to conform to people’s expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 01:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 01:13 PM

I’m thinking not even fatal flaw territory. What happens if he or I get sick and can’t work anymore, what if the baby is born with complex needs. All this sort of shit would knock even the strongest and mos compatible people. Life can be a bitch.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 12:23 PM

As someone about to start trying for a baby this sort of thing really does concern me. I’ve had a long happy relationship with my husband. Is a baby gonna change that? You can’t really know until it’s here and it’s too late. Hoping I’m one of the lucky ones.

Calling yourself a feminist is a political statement in my opinion. The majority of those who are drug addicted, abused etc., aren’t overly political. The vast majority don’t vote. Hell, half couldn’t name the Prime Minister. Doesn’t surprise me that they aren’t online arguing about feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 11:02 AM

As someone who ended up in an abusive relationship, I don’t get how you fall for it again. The red flag spotting and boundary setting was a breeze. I hope this person gets the help she needs.

I’m only in my 30s I’d say I’m less horny than when I was in my early 20s. But it may just be that when I first got with my partner we had New Relationship energy and we’re spending all day in bed, and now we are settled into more of a routine of 1-2 times a week. Think this is normal thoufh

Bit much for me but glad she found a guy who makes her feel good. Best of luck to them both.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 06:42 PM

I’m not affected in the same way by ratings of men on here, because I know what I think looks good on a man and other peoples opinions isn’t gonna change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 09:57 PM

It’s fucked up my opinion of me tbh but not men or relationships. My partner is amazing and nothing like some of the walking red flags in here. I never used to care about looks but hanging out here makes me assess my own looks and feel pretty ugly. I look at my partner sometimes and think “why would he be with this? I’m a mess”. I try to focus on other stuff but the constant lookism on here has fucked me up a little. Why am I still here when it’s having a negative impact? Who knows?

Yes in UK.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 05:56 PM

Can you link one. Most of the stories seem to me like the guy is toxic AF and the manosphere stuff is just the explanation, not the only issue in the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 10:31 AM

Talking so much shit it hurts. Block me mods. I’m done here.

I think most of my female friend’s partners are good looking but I’m not attracted to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 05:59 PM

I don’t really understand this distinction. Can you explain a little more?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 05:54 PM

I would love if we had more shitty female characters in movies/tv. So many Mary Sues out there. It’s boring AF.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 05:47 PM

Q4A If your partner never initiated sex, but was always up for it when you initiated, would you stay with them? Or do you need them to show active interest in you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 05:40 PM
1

Not everywhere. It’s legal in the UK.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 11:23 PM
1

No. Don’t think they mean anything in my country.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 11:10 PM

Not had any side effects from birth control. It’s a fucking dream.

How fat is that
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 10:38 PM

Good luck!
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 10:32 PM

How much weight (as you all apparently care about weight so much here) would your other half have to gain for it to be a breakup issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 10:31 PM
1

Q4A have you actually read any studies about sexual competition? Or are you basing all your animosity on feels from tik tok videos?

I was bitten by radioactive Plan B and now have super contraceptive powers

Amen

I like men bigger than me. That’s not a hard achievement at 5’3.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 06:46 PM

Are there redpillers anymore? I thought they’d all regressed to black.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 06:45 PM

It sucks being a small woman cause you’re maintenance calories are like 1600 and you can’t eat a whole pizza if you don’t want to gain weight. Wish I was 8ft
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 06:35 PM
1

I don’t think your question was very clear tbh. You said “how many of you all” like you we’re expecting an answer to that in general. Personally. I sometimes joking say men suck to my bf but he ignores me cause it’s clearly me being a dickhead. He makes similar jokes. It’s all banger. Nothing to worry about.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 06:26 PM

What
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 06:21 PM
1

I don’t know how many women shit on men as a whole to bad out significant other. I’m not a mind reader
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 06:18 PM

I do think a lot of men here are under the impression that every woman has guys approaching them in the street every waking second they’re outside of the house. But it’s just not the case. Saw a survey recently that says 74% of women under the age of 26 which they were approached more.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 12:05 PM

Same reason I listen to true crime podcasts. Weird things/people/places intrigue me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 07:21 AM

I think one hypothesis was if they’re lubed up and ready to go in any sexual situation they’re less likely to be internally damaged by rape
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 04:14 PM
1

Apparently it’s pupil dilation, do you have another study? Cause it doesn’t seem to match what you’re saying
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:52 PM
1

I’ve got a feeling no one here has actually read the study
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:51 PM
1

So not genital arousal then
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:51 PM
1

Overweight is healthier to underweight iirc so that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:48 PM
1

How? What does it physically measure? Lubrication?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:46 PM
1

How was genital arousal measured
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:44 PM
2

No. If I want him, then I’m pretty much ready to get in his pants there and then.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:22 PM

Depends. Am I like their shifty ex? Do I need to fix something?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 09:55 PM

Not the actual number but how he got it. Has he cheated on every woman he’s dated? Has he had a host of STIs?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 09:53 PM
1

Women are bigger slut shamers then men have ever been in my experience. Judging other women for sleeping around. Looking down on outfits they wear. Etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 09:35 PM
1

I have no idea. >100. People talk about their relationships all the time. Even perfect strangers will bring up their relationships in passing. It’s hard to meet someone and not have them bring up their other half.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 09:18 PM
1

I wasn’t implying that at all. Again, a complete misreading of the situation. But continue to keep telling me what I actually meant.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 01:26 PM
1

Ok. Well I won’t comment in future in case you decide to read into my facts that I didn’t say.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 12:31 PM
1

You’re reading far too much into what I said. I didn’t give a reason. I just stated a fact. There was no “who is to blame” in my comment. It was literally a statement of facts. I said nothing about victims of circumstances etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 12:10 PM
1

Do people not just hold the door for those around them. Baffles me that this is gendered.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 12:08 PM
1

I read that if you get cheated on you’re more likely to get cheated on in future. There are some people who just attract cheaters it seems. It’s the same in abusive relationships. If you get into one of those, much more likely to get in another one.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 11:50 AM

All my first dates were fine. Mostly cause I only ever dated guys I knew I had stuff in common with first. I’d either been friends with the guy first or been chatting for a good while on tinder before we met up (so I knew we had lots in common) so that’s not exactly a surprise. The one guy I got with from cold approach, it turned out he was actually a friend of a friend by complete coincidence and again, we had lots in common. It’s annoying. Means I don’t have any good stories.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 11:26 AM
1

No. I don’t want to know. If he’s not planning to do it again. Made a mistake. Loves me etc. then telling me will only cause me pain. He should suck it up and feel guilt forever and keep me in my happy delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 11:21 AM
1

He was putting out though…that’s what hooking up means.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 07:29 AM

I think 80 year olds are cute AF. They’re like wrinkly babies and they bake cakes.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 10:02 PM

I was a cringey NLOG when I was a teen. I most definitely was not a pickme. You’re right. They’re different.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 09:50 PM
1

Loads of old, overweight people are in relationships dude. Given how fat the west is it’s not a particularly rare event either.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 09:38 PM
1

I wish half the men spouting red pill on here practiced what they preached and went to the fucking gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 09:27 PM

I’ve dated a couple of guys I was friends with first. The first guy I’d known from childhood so there was initial spark/attraction when I met him: In fact I remember not really liking him at all as a kid. My now fiancé - I remember meeting him and thinking “this guy’s cute, his girlfriend has done a good job snagging him” when I first met him. So I don’t think it’s necessary to have that initial attraction but it helps for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 05:08 PM

How much you wanting to lose?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 04:16 PM

What’s the correct way?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 04:11 PM

You’ll get there!! One day you shall have it again.

The refractory period.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 03:31 PM

Well that person is obviously not included in my explanation. I’ve seen a lot of posts written by autistic people themselves which is fine. Post like you’ve described are obviously ridiculous and offensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 03:01 PM
2

How’s your husband feeling now? Hope he’s ok!
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 02:57 PM

I think it’s likely an autistic person or persons who’re worried about ableism towards themselves that are bringing it up as a topic a lot tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 02:56 PM
1

You monster
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 02:34 PM

My bf didn’t want to have too much of a commute and I didn’t care about location. So we life like 30 mins from his work
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 11:42 AM

POTS?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 10:29 AM
1

I remember my ex a month or so before we broke up saying “I could get another woman in a heartbeat”. It sort of backfired because when he said that I didn’t even feel slightly jealous. I was like “cool, you go do that buddy. I’ll go get someone else too. Byeee”
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 10:25 AM
1

Yes and no. I’m sure there is a least some percentage of women who are just shy and take a little while to come out of their shell. No idea what proportion this would be though.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 10:21 AM
1

No
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 10:20 PM
1

Would you leave her if she remained fat?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 08:40 PM
1

What ended it? Was he fat when you got together?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 08:40 PM
1

Another weight based Q4A: what do you consider as too fat to date. Feel free to give me a BMI or a photo.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 08:39 PM
1

So would you leave someone if they got fat
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 08:38 PM
1

Q4A: Would you date a fat person? If no, would you leave a partner if they got fat? Also are you fat yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 08:24 PM
1

Zero. Early 30s woman here.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 07:31 PM
1

Of course
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 06:43 PM
1

My friends never call without texting “can I call” so I’d answer cause it’s likely an emergency. If I answer and nothing is up I’ll tell her I’m busy and hang up.

Absolutely. You have similar looks to my ex actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:04 PM

Do you know what the bmi healthy range is
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 07:40 PM
1

Nothing. They men remaining are thirsty enough to keep the demand up.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 06:13 PM

I had a break from here so thankfully avoided the JH discourse. Weird to come back and see it’s still going for some reason
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 06:10 PM
1

I kinda want to do both in the one day 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 06:03 PM
1

Who’s going to see Barbie?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 05:55 PM
1

I’m gonna do both those things even though it could hurt me financially…so yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 05:51 PM

Slavery is bad? This really a question?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:38 AM

Do men think that?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 09:32 PM

I was being jokey so you shouldn’t have given me the benefit of the doubt tbh. I’ll be more serious now in my response. Some meds can kill a person’s libido. Stone dead. I wouldn’t say the fact that the person experiencing that is not feeling it means they’ve “settled”. I do agree with you however, that constantly putting off sex could absolutely mean the person is unattracted to their partner and that it’s important to make sex a priority to ensure a happy loving relationship. That being said, …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 08:23 PM

What thread? I read OP’s statement and responded
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 08:18 PM

Maybe he should have been more specific
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 07:09 PM

How often do you need to let them know you list after them before it’s considered settling? “Hey babe, I know I haven’t been lusty this week but my dog got put down, can I write you a lust iou?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 07:08 PM

I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 06:50 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
