But being a champion LARPer takes some serious skill. The ladies love it. I'm being facetious and totally agree with you and OP.

Do it. Great sport. Great workout. Very practical application. Depends on the gym and trainer too. Rest your concussion first though.

Fight to the death. Winner gets the D. Who cares, just have fun and flirt with both. Expect nothing. Enjoy the turkey. Pursue who is more responsive.

Agreed overall, but there was past discussion in other threads about disclosing those details to raise/lower SMV. Good ways to mess with the hamster.

What are these levels? Also this except stemmed from logistics where I playfully called her out on being difficult to set a time/date with. Her response was my title post.

It's arguable. I think I have in the sense that I put her on a pedestal by acknowledging the remark instead of belittling it / amplifying. The response "knock yourself out" also tells me that interest may have died out. Then again, maybe an over analysis. Any suggestions?

Constant reminding is great practice. I'm wondering where else you can apply these ideas often and fairly quickly though. You can try some things at work, social outings, etc, but you can't try as much as you want to if you're trying to see and gauge the long term effects of what you're doing. You want to test them out on as many areas as you can to find what works for you.

If you've already built a strong enough rapport beforehand where you KNOW they're not a total dolt and they're already into you, then dinner isn't too bad. But for the majority of interactions, yes, keep it short and sweet and move forward if it's worthwhile.

To some add to the list (depends on context): Crossed arms Hands in pocket Avoiding eye contact / looking elsewhere for something to focus on Head shaking Constant shaking or tapping of feet, legs, hands Deep but "silent" exhaling through the nose constantly checking phone looking at other people for approval or backup (if in group) ... I gotta work on a lot of these myself. Poker face + holding a calm frame can really go a long way.

When somebody (guy or girl) actually deserves it, or when you actually just want to compliment someone on what ever it is you like about them/what they did. If you're using compliments to win someone's favor, get their attention or charm someone... that's when you think twice and use sparingly because it may backfire or make you look bad.

It depends on your personality, crowd, what industry you work in, etc. Nowadays it's not really a big deal to most people especially if you're in the creative/tech industry, as it is a form of expression. If you have a piercing, you can always take it off before work and put it back on. I have two normal lobe piercings and I switch them up depending on the occasion. During interviews, I'm not afraid to show them off because I'm confident in my personality and ability that I'm not ashamed to show…

"You're so average/normal"... Varies though. I personally like being "weird" but in a good, unique way.

Man, I really appreciate you explaining it like this. I knew of the general ideas of what you just said but it had to be put into words by someone else with experience for it to really make sense and click in my head. I'd buy you a drink if I could. Thanks, brother!

Boring. I Like girls who are motivated and challenge themselves in all aspects of life. If they're hot but too comfortable sitting around doing nothing, I don't even get turned on. Preference, really.
/r/askTRP20/10/14 08:15 PM

Good to know. I was feeling concerned about this that it may be a part of my brain that I can never turn off, but it's probably more of a preference to actually want to have a better connection and respect first before anything more.

Great advice and very true. Starting out in boxing or kick boxing for a bit gives you a good foundation of the fight and/or flight mentality and a great taste of the thrill of sparring. Then moving into other training like BJJ or muay Thai / all out MMA just pushes you further in all other aspects and balances your top and ground game, upper body and lower body, etc. I do Krav Maga and it exposes me to all types of fighting situations and it feels great knowing you'd be able to have a chance of …

Boxing or kick boxing is a good start. It'll teach you basics of moving around an opponent and throwing punches. From there you could branch out to BJJ, muai Thai, etc. I do Krav Maga, and it's seriously amazing and fun. It mixes bits of all those together but most importantly teaches you how to defend yourself in sticky situations - knife attacks, multiple attackers, etc.

If it's getting in the way of your health or ability/motivation to socialize and be a better version of yourself, cut it out of your system COMPLETELY until you get your priorities straight. If you play games to relax and socialize with buddies, do it - nothing wrong with a bit of that. Just don't over do it, and make sure you balance it with everything else in the world (job, friends, health, girls/guys).

Need more context but these could work... "You're not giving me much to work with either" "I'm just meeting you halfway here" / "I'm just trying to see eye to eye with you"
/r/askTRP18/08/14 07:15 AM

I think you'd want to find a better group altogether... Cut the toxic and potentially unsafe environment and find or create one where you can establish yourself as the alpha / one of the alphas in the group. Also, their perspective is already distorted and hazed by bad behavior so it'd be an uphill climb for you in any situation to remove the "beta" image.

Personally, I wouldn't have minded, because I say crap like that all the time in front of my LTR and female friends. In a fun, joking way of course. Hell, I'll even admit when another guy is attractive or dresses well / sounds awesome. It shows security and comfort with yourself and that you're not to be fazed by small comments like that. If she persisted making comments like that or kept testing you on the matter past the first two times or so, then that's when you could react and take it as di…

You're not wrong with the RP Modifications. Totally agree. 2 is the most legit one of all of them. The rest written and published as they were - and in that mindset, however, are totally cringeworthy and are just feeding more garbage into people's minds.
/r/TheRedPill05/06/14 07:49 AM
6

Ugh. edit: Okay, more like 7 acts. #2 makes sense. edit 2: The advice isn't BAD perse - they just need to be used correctly and sparingly AND TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. The way it's written, however, is phrased as if all of it should be regular habits and doing those will equal total success and love in a relationship. But we all know that all of that on a regular basis would = total bp-dom.

Yeah, I've been doing this a lot lately. Writing down the problems that need to be addressed later. It can be overwhelming at times if you have the sort of mindset that often "looks ahead" and thinks of all the possible outcomes and results of a decision. It takes a huge toll on you and a lot of practice to train yourself to be "okay" with not being able to control certain elements of a problem. Good tips!!

Batman said the hand of justice is unisex! That said, if she comes swinging at you with a weapon or something, either run and keep your distance, gathering public witnesses, or try to disarm her by either restraining her advances or hitting back - enough to keep more distance and keep yourself safe. A quick jab or push back would be enough to buy you space and time to jump back. Woman or not, it's about self defense and protecting yourself first. Women are typically physically weaker, but that d…

I can imagine this response working negatively for you. "Do you really have anything better planned?" COULD be a neg but it also sets you up for a solid "um, yes"... Or phrases it as if you're offering to be the last resort/activity filler. Then again, if you've got solid game you could turn that around completely if she does decide you're the last resort.... Could work either way.

Dont be... Driving. Using too many emoticons or "haha", though it helps convey tone and mood. Use sparingly! putting too much detail into your texts. Match their enthusiasm and effort. If you're chatting too much and the ratio of your texts to hers is higher, turn it down a lot and flip it the other way. Responding so eagerly (context varies). Driving. Don't do dat.

Lead by example. I tried getting friends into it and they rejected the idea. Felt that they didn't need it, NAWALT, etc... It ended up looking like I thought I was better or knew more... Definitely not what you wanna give off. Some welcomed it, but mainly because they were at their "lowest points" with women and being blue. It seems that people are most open to change and the truth when they've been broken in some way.

Anonymous note? Hah... I feel terrible for the guy. Knowing all this information but not being able to do anything about it because it's not your business... Not doing anything about it means that his life is going to be a living hell while doing something about it COULD either make it worse or save another man from the worst years of his life. I feel like I would personally try to help, but it's my own nature to want to help another human being from being taken advantage of... Good luck to OP a…

What you say is very true. I'm attracted to white girls and westernized asian girls myself (I'm a white-washed asian, but lean more towards the eastern culture), but they seem to have that totally entitled attitude where they know they're attractive (or try super hard to be. this can go wrong very easily), are heavily desired since they're "the best of both worlds", and condescend on the more eastern-cultured asians... They really can be the worst of both worlds. Heh.

I've gotten this a few times. Even if I did miss their genuinely good company, my response is usually something like: "ehhh, I guess so..." / "A bit, I guess.", said in fun and cocky demeanor while smiling... as if I was throwing them a pity "i missed you too". It's just playful banter and helps break the ice in many cases. edit: You could also escalate and just say something like "come see me, then." or tell them to buy you a drink. It's worked for me too, actually. Free meals/drinks! Woo!

Just give up man. Its pointless to even try with that kind of attitude. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither were successful people, business or TRP wise. Read. Internalize. Practice. Learn. Repeat until you get results. Be disciplined and aware of yourself. Keep at it and you can change and improve if you really wanted to.

^ Agree. "I might cheat though if the opportunities present themselves without blowback" - that's not cool. That's selfish and unfair to another human being who put their trust and gave everything up to/for you. Imagine if she was saying the same thing about you. If you're already wanting to cheat, then save the both of you (and possible children) the grief and do NOT marry up.

I don't disagree, man. Looks are very important, but some people value that more than others. I was saying how often times it could blur one's judgement when making a huge call like this one. It's all about weighing the options too and whether or not one is REALLY happy with where they are and who they're with. To each his own!

She seems like a catch, minus the looks. A great solid personality with good values is pretty hard to find nowadays. You want that to carry forward within your family in the future. You need to ask yourself if you actually care about this person enough to look past the 4 rating, and if you can see yourself happy and fulfilled in the long run. Since you're questioning your feelings right now, with appearance being a huge factor, then you may be unhappy as time goes by, which could potentially lea…

That's true. My context for the most part has been networking/platonic interactions because of my sense of humor and friendliness... but perhaps because of that, I just sort of autopilot into people's friend zones, leaving out any opportunity for flirting. Perhaps the goofyness seems to just rule me out and not get people interested in learning about me. Hmm.

Good point on context and frame. How about if one uses expressiveness simply because they have a goofy personality? (re: Projecting - its for personal inquiry, but I like speaking in 3rd person to make it a bit more relatable to anyone who may... relate.) I don't feel the need to compensate for social value because I'm the easy going type that can along well with most people. I don't think its wrong, but It really depends how you say it. "I want frieeeends take me with you!" - yeah no. "Yeah, im Looking to meet some more people In the area." - said casually and more confidently, I don't think would have a negative impact. Especially if they get that you're new in the area. Its a more down to earth approach IMO.

23, looking for 19 - 25, although I feel that 19 is still quite immature, as nice as they can LOOK. Probably just good for flings. With that into consideration, 21-25 for actual relationships.
