Anyone who thinks someone posting here is karma farming is a douche. I was a lurker here for 2 years. I made an account after my divorce. Me being a lurker or this fella being a new acc does not dejustify our pains. take your head out of your arse

As someone who divorced without kids, man, I can vouch for that. You will barely recall her face after 1.5 years

It is hard and you still have unanswered love in your heart. This love is not towards her, though. It is towards a fiction that you dressed up with her image. I wish you fast recovery, comrade

It is easy to put a mask on, brother. Especially for a figure as manipulative as you have described. The main question is why does it interest you? Happy or miserable, she was gone the second she contacted him. Why, then, a lost soul's condition is any of your interest? Might it be because you want to reflect and project the anger you have for her? Or yhat you were the throphy and she should be in desperate situation? Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, trash her out of your mind.

You chase a sailed ship, you face the possible drowning. Admit it, accept it and embrace it. Or you harm you. Deseat yourself from the mainstream social media. Reddit is enough to vent, ask advice and watch fun stuff. You don't need more.

You downvoting every single harsh-but-true comment you dislike underlines your pattern. You are an aged man-child!

I will try to sound as nice as possible. ... Nope. I wrote and revised countless times. I am nowhere to be qualified as "nice" so I deleted all. Summary: You are in a wrong path.

She devastated my finances. So I bought a kilo of cheapest steak, cheap six pack, a used ps4 and cheapest on sale games I could afford. It was the best steak, best brew and the most fun in the most peaceful environment I have had in a long time. I knew it wasn't the steak or the brew or the game. In fact, the steak was very close to expiration and certain parts did smell funny. The beer was so shit it'd turn into bubbles after each sip. The game was okay, it didn't blow me but it was merely meh.…

I am 37. Got divorced at 35. Never wanted and had kids and I am sure as hell I will never want one. I will get vasectomy if I ever get into a serious relationship. Until then, the rubber is my comrade.

You put a golden saddle on a Donkey and treated her as an Arabian Marathon Mustang. She then took the saddle off and showed you her true identity which made you upset because you thought you lost your Arabian Marathon Mustang. You never had a Mustang to begin with, my dude.

If the declaration of affection is through financial means, which means it is purchasable, there are cheaper and, I cannot stress this enough, way better options, my dude. Stop it. You are at your peak and will remain there for a good decade and more if you're careful. Her on the other hand, is in the final laps. And funny enough, she's the one attempting to exploit you. Leave that marriage. Do not give her a dime and let the lawyers settle it. You have no, and I mean no loss in here. You think …

I didn't have a support mechanism. I still don't. I built my own support mechanism. It's me. I am my own support mechanism.

This is all well put. Congratz. Minor adjustment on my end: Increase that 6 months no dating to 12 months. This is because majority here is 30+. It takes longer time, especially for middle aged men in long term commitments, to heal.
