I am mentally ill. I have major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. From the news reports, it appears that Elliot had far more severe problems. I cannot believe that a "reasonable human" could slaughter that many people and not be mentally ill. 1950's: segregated water fountains for Caucasians and African-Americans. 2010's: segregated public restrooms for men and women. Easy question: Would you rather be an African American male living in the deep south in the 1950's, or a woman living today in 2014? Given how far society has come, I think the answer is clear.

I have no idea why someone would have downvoted you. Within my general area I can think of multiple services aimed at women, children, indigenous peoples, etc. But can only think of one male service which is located nearly 80kms away. Isn't this what "Men's Rights" is supposed to be about: equality? Where is the gender equality in you having to drive 80 kms to access gender-specific health care?
