It's "approved" for men now, but I'm just not sure if insurance will cover it.

I recently went to the county health department in Pittsburgh to get some vaccines before going to Asia, and they are part of some program that is giving free HPV vaccines to men aged 18-25. They asked if I wanted to be a part of it and said they had a ton of vaccines left. I have no idea who is paying for it, but it might be in other cities as well.

This will never be the case. A male is still needed to grow the sperm -- you need a Y chromosome or the sperm don't develop, and Y chromosomes are only in males. If anything, females will eventually no longer be needed, since a male genetically has everything to make both male and female gametes. All they basically did in this study was take germ line cells that normally develop into sperm and grow them in culture, and they continued developing into sperm.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
