Know your limits. Having doubts and fears is normal, wallowing in these is toxic. I am not a hero, nor I pretend to be. Respect other people's fears and limits.

They are after something (casual sex) that is very, very scarce. Instinctively, women are not inclined to promiscuity (apart from a minority): the risks of pregnancy, std and, last by not least, social stigma are excessive. To be chosen for casual sex, a man has to be outstanding and in the right place at the right time. It's like counting on the lottery to pay the bills.

... and this is why they are not in sync with women. A woman will evaluate a man as a possible long term partner, most of the times. No enormous amount of work needs to be put in, really, just understanding how the other side sees the mating dance.

Indeed, but if they themselves are "average", that's the domain. In terms of ranking, there are other factors to consider, beyond the mere physical appearance. Is she intelligent, compassionate, interesting? A super attractive body is worth attention (and this is why we should strive to improve our own) but, is a shallow, gold digging supermodel really a 100k contract?

You can't stand rejection and you are insecure. That's a starting point, it's not all bad, because you know your current limitations and this is important. Of course rejection is humiliating. It's a risk to be taken, but, as always with risks, an assessment is due. The best advice I can give is that 1) you should become "outcome independent". Think that, if you were a salesperson and you had to meet a client to place a £100 contract, you would be stressed, for x amount. If you were to meet a £10…

I would not accept that. Respect is fine, treat her kindly but sex is a must. If she doesn't feel like having it with you and has these inhibitions, as you said, what kind of relationship are you tying yourself in? A nightmare. I would run away but your life, your choice.

Yes, and they follow a cliché: 1) a mysterious stranger appears (insert here factors of attractiveness); 2) the protagonist can't classify him, and he seems confident, therefore she uses her secret weapons to attract his attention (tosses her hair / bites her lower lip / looks at him sideways / insert whatever ...); 3) he doesn't seem to notice at first, also because there are other women that do the same, including one that our protagonist despises (the slut with low morals). He obviously has o…

Exactly. Keep women subjugated, by disseminating jokes about their "low morality" and how they should be controlled. In my experience, as a man, these kind of jokes are common across countries and cultures. What I always experienced is that women crave romance, men crave sex.

Humans communicate verbally and non verbally. Most women / girls are shy and, since they are more afraid than us of rejection, when interested in a guy, they communicate it non verbally (body language) and these signs are most often subtle and elusive. https://youtu.be/jsb7StyCKxk Other times, flirting is a more open approach bolder women will take. They might say something (usually mildly humoristic), meant to invite you to flirt and then you'll have to play by her rules: https://youtu.be/r-G2L…

Modern / Western society allows for premarital / entertainment sex: that's OK but, when it comes to reproduction, the two genders have different priorities. It's simple. The man's optimal strategy is to inseminate as many women as possible, with minimal or no investment in the aftermath (raising children, providing for a family, ...). This is because sperm is cheap and super-abundant, in each man's gonads and passing one's own genes is a simple numbers game. Women, on the other hand, want to att…

/r/seduction04/09/22 06:20 PM

As simple as that. On the other hand, OLD is the terrain of the "above average" looking guys, due to the demand & supply imbalance. Unfortunately a lot of dudes are also socially inept, which makes approach in real life also difficult. Two ways of improving: 1) become as attractive as possible (gym, style, career), within the genetic cards in hand; 2) develop social skills (flirting, humor, empathy).

Go out, in a busy place, e.g. a club, a mall, a concert, and count how many attractive girls there are. You have to increase the number of opportunities of interaction, plain and simple, and stop giving your attention away for free.

Attraction is not a rational process. If you could choose one among ten supermodels, all super attractive and willing to sleep with you, how would you choose the lucky one to spend the night with? Women have a holistic approach, looks is a component, income is a component but so are demeanour, intelligence, culture, style, etc. It all boils down to the primeval choosing of the best partner to mate and raise children with. Because these techniques are not yours. It's like wearing somebody else's clothes and feeling uncomfortable at it (and looking weird, too). You have to develop your own style, by trial & error. After a success, or a rejection, you elaborate and adjust.

Rest assured that if she was interested, she would not have flaked or "forgot to inform you" the next morning. The outcome is only too clear. Move on. Don't act butthurt, be civil but replace her with other girls and ghost her for good. Even if she comes back ...

You know yourself what the problem is. If you want money, you'll have to work, if you want a degree, you have to study, if you want a body, you have to lift weights, if you want a girl, you have to risk rejection. There is no gain without pain (unless born millionaire , etc): accept it as a fact of life and learn to cope.

The message is clear. She's not into you. Gave you number and agreed to meet just to make you leave her alone. Common outcome. Move on.

My advice, for what it's worth , is that the only approach that builds expertise is trial and error. There are no magic scrolls nor shortcuts, other than: 1. Understand the woman you're interacting with and her emotions (as much as possible). Body language is as important as words, if not more; 2. Develop your own style (which is the good old "be yourself", with a twist): if you are a nerd, don't pretend to be some kind of "bad boy" ... girls discover fake personas in a split second (unless you'…

Agree totally. I would add that putting up a fake persona (e.g. a dominant "bad boy", "succesful entrepreneur" ...) would be detected and readily unmasked by the girls' evolutionary radar for male insecurities. That said, a psychopath or a professional actor can create a successful profile and adapt to their seduction target but normal people would fail at it.

Stop being anxious about rejection. It's all about your fragile little ego. There are much more serious sources of concern out there ... how about unemployment, cancer, war, polltion, global warming? In the grand scheme of things rejections are irrelevant. One, two hurt. Have many options instead of oneitis.

Introduce yourself, then whatever ask her, you'll be rejected by some. Others will happily interact. It's part of the game, there are no magic spells of sorts.

I never approach, unless I have something genuine to say. Recently I was in a hotel, I travel quite a lot for work and in the morning, at the buffet, I was looking for the cutlery and this young manager-like lady was looking for something herself. I said something like "I would like to understand the logic of putting the knives and forks in a tray on this table and the spoons on a table on the other side of the room ..." she smiled and said "I was wondering the same myself". We had breakfast tog…

Young girls' words and deeds are incoherent? What a surprise. In reality this applies to people in general: deeds are 10x more relevant than the words, always watch what people do, not so much what they say

Quite the contrary. Women, as any person, deserve to be treated with respect and a normal, civilised attitude. Treating them as goddesses is cringe, plus it almost never achieve the objective of intimacy ... because women are suspicious of this 'doormat' attitude. Maybe I wasn't clear, English is not my first language...

First: leave coworkers alone. Second she doesn't seem keen at all and third, there is potential risk that, if you were too insistent, she might report harassment to HR. Finally, there is gossip, which is bad anyway, because you'll be seen as a flirt, rather than a committed member of staff and this will damage your career.

Treating a woman like a person is different from treating her like a goddess. Some girls fall for the latter, I suppose (I'm a man), but I believe that too much flattery feels cheesy and fake. If I was a woman, I'd be very suspicious of the doormat man; if he has no respect for himself, will he disrespect me, as soon as I became for any reason vulnerable? The attractive ones, especially, want to be treated like human beings, by normal human beings. It is that simple.

Imagine being a girl, approached by somebody who she's not attracted to (happens often) ... she manages to make it clear that it's a no; what would be a civilised vs. an awkward reaction? Be civilised: smile, shrug and say something like "OK, no worries, have a nice rest of the evening" and walk away.
