I think I’ve finally made it to the Slope.

The difference is that those 400 men are likely all super sketchy con artists. My female friends have been put through it with a lot of those dudes

This sounds similar to where I’m at. Im willing to give her the house and equity for her to stay in it with the kids. She refuses to think she can afford it. Tried to get her to mediate but she refuses. Setting up legal this weekend.

Sorry that wasnt aimed at you but the people talking about hiding money and taking lesser jobs. I havent filed yet and ive been married 22years and even still im encouraged by what im told by attorneys. Granted i tend to expect the extreme worst.

Similar story here, pushing to mediate. I do a lot of home stuff as well as primary income yet told I’m the worst. Maybe this is midlife but that doesn’t change the fact that yes its mid life and we are not ever going to have fun together. It may ruin me but id at least have control of that again. Good luck. Feel free to pm if you want to share stories and bounce ideas.

Matter of taste I guess. And maybe your age. Most older women are so much more together mentally and professionally and that brings on a level of attractiveness. Plus maybe they’ve been through that bad relationship and realigned their priorities.

I ask the same questions but I also ask, how well is the shouting and drama doing for the kids? How normal is it that their dad sleeps on the couch? Kids are resilient, I think you just have to make a point to show them they matter.

I think this is less and less true. Women in their 30,40s and even 50s can be so much hotter than those in their 20s. I think the rate at which women mature is decreasing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
