"However you can work toward a better one." Yeah you can work but some people realize they can work all they like and they will never have a better one. "Dropping out before you even try, just because there’s no guarantee, isn’t realism it’s refusing accountability" Often times many of these people have tried repeatedly but to no avail.

"I agree capitalism is better than any other system" I'd argue Neozapatismo is a better system. "but the excesses in the US are far too extreme. Workers should have better rights, healthcare should be more easily available, the income gap should be smaller, and oligarchs should not run the government." That is how capitalism always ends up given a long enough time frame. Because capitalism eats itself.

I'd argue the fact people can't opt out is one of the major drivers of political violence in a society. But I'd also argue it's a slave rebellion of sorts because what are we if not slaves to society and the various governments of the world.

"I value myself, which means I’m willing to put in the effort to build a life I actually enjoy." I think part of the issue is that people know they'll work their whole life and never get the life they actually enjoy at any point. So what's the point? If you work hard and fail why bother working hard why not just live minimally but not work yourself to an early grave. See if people actually felt they could work hard and have a meaningful life they'd do it. But more and more people realize that's …

"I don’t care what sex workers want as they aren’t the majority and shouldn’t try to force their services onto people" So by this logic you support certain areas not letting people be gay legally? Like the logic is the same. "Some states will allow it and some states won’t so move to where you want to live." And will you be paying for that?

I'd argue it could very easily be taxed if the government nationalized and ran government brothels.

"I think you're someone who takes more than they give, definitely." And you make this observation off what? This conversation. Because from this conversation I take it you're a billionaire apologist who hyper focuses on the small problems instead of the massive mountain in front of you. Looking at your comment history most of your time is spent on doomer circle jerk so that implies to me you keep your head buried in the sand to the problems of this world. But please tell me how I'm wrong because…

"And I'm saying NEETS would be just as parasitic as Bezos if given the opportunity." Unlikely most don't have the ambition to be that parasitic because to be that parasitic it takes a lot of drive. "You lack capital, not greed." What you think I'm a NEET?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 08:04 PM

"Entitlement is entitlement." Really now? So you're telling me manslaughter is just as bad as murder? "If you're ethics are "Well, I'm not as bad as jeff Bezos." that's not a high bar to clear." Never said they were my ethics merely said that if this society expects massive leeches like Jeff Bezos it can certainly handle a Neet.

"Okay, so if I go and steal a old woman's pocketbook, it's impacting way fewer people than billionaires so it's fine right?" No but see you're wording of your statement was "is just as entitled." When they aren't. So yeah you stealing one old woman's pocketbook is less bad then what the billionaires do.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:05 PM
2

"I'm sorry, but expecting you parents to work into their 70s to pay for your housing and food is just as entitled." No it really isn't because billionaires expect far more then just two people to be giving up their surplus value to be exploited by. Neets impact far fewer people in reality.

"say those women aren’t worthy of marriage or long-term relationships." What's amusing is that is like a whole subsection of porn you know ones with couples. So it's kind of ironic I think although it's late when I'm making this comment so I maybe using irony incorrectly.

Shame it's pretty much a fantasy. But even then let's say that one plopped into your lap for whatever reason. Better still she's loaded won the lottery or something so that takes care of the whole work angle. Besides as you put in another comment kissing and cuddling and I assume other acts of physical romantic affection what exactly is your plan? Like as you put it you want to be lazy. Which I get although generally if you go for the lazy path it's generally solitary. Now lets say this hypothet…

Yeah the comment thread itself was almost as interesting as the comic in ways. People were self inserting themselves into one of the characters. Taking things literally. I think the biggest was seeing how reliable of a narrator she was. See I noticed other things when I read the comic about the fictional relationship. I looked at the relationship itself which you first see on page two of the comic. See at face value when you look at it he seems to be the one solely uninterested but in the very f…

Honestly in ways this kind of makes more sense when you look at statistics. Statistically women live longer then men yet currently our society is generally set up where an older man ends up with a younger woman. Now does this make logical sense. Considering the whole live spans. Like my great great grandmother who lived over 100 years was a widow for I think something like four decades. Her husband was at least 10 years older then her. I don't know it just seems illogical.

Exactly like attractiveness varies so much from decade to decade to region to region to person to person. Like someone such as myself who considers himself to be a prepper/collapse aware is looking for very different characteristics in a person then someone who isn't a prepper. Hell finding anyone who is collapse aware is damn near impossible.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/25 12:06 AM

No dead in the sense of the dead internet theory or at least the basic idea. The sheer number of things like bots for example saying whatever they're programed to.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 06:39 PM

Yeah exactly like is it supposed to be some sort of gotacha? Like completely ignores every gay and bi dude. Plus as you said "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" like if they said Men want nothing more then someone they find attractive then yeah that sounds about accurate. Because what someone finds attractive varies wildly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 06:36 PM

Considering the internet may very well be mostly dead at this point is it that reliable of a source?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 06:31 PM

We're all products under capitalism for a wealthy few.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 09:00 PM

Are they though? Or are they just people. It kind of goes to show the absurdity of society doesn't. That people take more issue with someone who has sex for money then someone literally hired to kill people for a government.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 08:59 PM
1

Exactly the murder is far worse yet soldiers are still finding people are they not.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 08:24 PM

"You cannot fuck in a hazmat suit" You said this I proved it wrong by being creative.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 08:23 PM
1

"Most women will not want to date a man who has paid for sex." And? Generally speaking it's like the people paying for therapy a large subsection of them aren't going to be having anyone to talk to unless they pay. So nothing changes for them then.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 08:18 PM
1

That looks like basic gloved hands you're telling me you can't used your hands if they have gloves on them?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 08:17 PM
1

Yet it isn't because we live under capitalism.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 08:11 PM
1

Okay so then by this logic no one would use any service what so ever because it harms someone else autonomy. Again this all goes back to the capitalist system. Very few things are done voluntarily under this system.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 06:52 PM
1

Are you not able to use your hands?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 06:25 PM
1

Isn't that the case for all work though? Like say for example selling your blood is that not in a sense selling your autonomy? Or the literal military.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 06:23 PM
1

"Will the person seeking therapy experience ostracization from future friends for seeking therapy?" Depends on the people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 06:17 PM
1

"Many people who get therapy ALSO have friends and family who listen to their problems for free." And some don't. Would that scenario not be the same? A person having no one willing to listen to their problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 06:14 PM
1

It probably shouldn't be but under capitalism it very much is viewed as such.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 05:21 PM
1

"People DO want people who have sex with them to do it because they WANT to and not because they’re PAID to." Yeah and people also do want people to listen to their problems for free but they don't which is why a lot of people go to therapy in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 05:07 PM
1

Couldn't you say that about a lot of jobs though. Like a doctor they don't actually care about your health they just care about getting paid so they provide you a service. Or a therapist they don't give a shit about your problems they just want to be paid to listen to your shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 04:05 PM
1

Sure you can if you're creative.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 04:03 PM
1

Wait sex workers aren't really women? What are they then quasi humans by this logic?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 02:49 PM
1

Sounds like the job needs to be nationalized then and a board of control and some workers rights need to be established.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 02:41 PM
1

Yes I'd marry a prostitute. Would you marry a former soldier who has killed who knows how many before you and is effectively a killer for the state?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 02:40 PM
1

Isn't that all labour in general though? Like the people working a shit job likely isn't doing that because they want to. They're doing it because they get paid.

Yep it's similar to the whole why would they ever make a cure for cancer instead of just coming up with new treatments. Keep you customers alive but never let them get 100% well. Although unlike with cancer research we have good evidence that the dating apps are screwing us over.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/25 12:10 AM

I think dating apps need to be in a sense turned into non profits almost or maybe social enterprises because they need to fundamentally change how they work. Because currently their whole profit system works by keeping people on the apps. I think they need to go into way more detail describing a persons personality and allow them to search for compatible people instead of just swiping in hopes of finding someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 04:30 PM

Legalize and nationalize it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/25 03:16 PM

I'd say part of the problems is a lot of the things that are relatively reasonable are becoming harder and harder for people to achieve especially for younger people. Like you list hobbies but hobbies require time and money things people don't always have. You also list a steady job another thing that is becoming harder and harder to achieve. So while very much reasonable to have they are becoming harder and harder to achieve for more and more people. Like some of the traits are easy enough like…

"Other types do exist, but those types are not the ones consumed typically." The just provide those. "With enough porn usage, people become desensitized to the regular and HAVE to turn to the violent to get off. " Really it was the opposite for me. I started off watching "normal" porn. Then moved onto the more affectioned loving porn. And frankly I enjoy it and as you say "get off" to it a hell of a lot more then the other stuff. "Even if the porn isn’t straight up bdsm or non consent, it’s “rel…

" I learned that sex was violent and loveless. I learned that the women’s pleasure didn’t matter and that we were objects. I learned to compare my own, growing body, to those of women with fake boobs and perfect skin. Other porn exists you realize that right? Like for the vast majority of porn I'd agree with what you're saying but like you're acting as if no other types exist.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 07:05 PM

So what you're saying is in general it doesn't make sense for most to even bother removing the hair in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 06:53 PM

But isn't removing the hair in the first place one of the causes of ingrown hairs?

"Both are things that make women more attractive to men" Some men that is there are a few of us who are fine with body hair with the expectation of head hair growing indefinitely like at some point you're going trip. Some of us also like seeing how a person really is. Frankly I can get a lot more out of seeing what kind of person someone is when they aren't concealing it.

I'd argue capitalism commodifies everything including people. Which to some degree is natural for humans to put values on things or traits but capitalism increases that trait to I'd argue unhealthy levels.
