The worst discrimination against men comes from India? You have got to be kidding me. A place where government officials tweet that women are responsible for what men do to them because they wore jeans with rips in the knees? A country where every time a child gets raped or a woman gets sexually beaten and gang-raped those search terms become the number one trending topic on porn sites? It’s a joke that you think men are the ones who are suffering from gender-based discrimination in India.

I don’t mind if a man is seeing other women. I don’t think most women who are in the early stages of dating and vetting expect exclusivity from the jump. What we do have problems with is Red Pillers reducing women to objects like “plates” and “bodies” (“bodies” in the context of a man saying ‘I have 20 bodies’ when referring to his sexual history). Speaking about women in these terms is dehumanizing and says a lot about the type of men who do this, and that is why we don’t like men who talk abou…

That’s interesting. I’m a hairstylist and I do notice that many people seem to have anxiety when I do their hair, even when I do my best to ask questions about what they want and exude confidence. Why do you have anxiety about going to the barber? Is it because of a bad experience (barber accidentally cutting you, often getting bad haircuts, having a skin issue like eczema or embarrassed about balding, etc)?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 08:00 PM

If men were experts at women’s sexuality, the porn industry targeting heterosexual women would be booming. Instead, most porn producers are men, who despite watching and creating thousands of videos, generally don’t understand what women want to see. By definition, these men have “the most experience” with seeing women sexually, yet it doesn’t translate into understanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 07:57 PM

She’s only going to be an expert on the sexuality of men who’d be willing to go to a sex worker in the first place, though. That in itself is a small subset of the male population. I’ve never been involved in that industry, but if I had to guess, that group of men she interacts with probably deal with unusual sexual impulses and fantasies that men who have normal sex lives do not deal with. The average man is who has sex with only their partners in traditional relationships probably either discl…

No, but doing anything casual has been so incredibly rare for me. I think it mostly affects people who developed unreciprocated feelings during a FWB situation and got hurt by it.

I have never wasted my time dating someone who I felt like I was settling for, and I have never felt like anyone was settling for me. Either of those situations sound miserable and I’d rather be single and alone if those were my only two options.

It’s because the men that have these incel-like thought patterns see women as a monolith. It’s their own delusions they’re projecting onto women they don’t know. Hot girls rejected them in high school, so obviously if a hot woman is attracted to them at 32 she would have been the same person to reject them in high school, too. They don’t seem to have any concept of people growing and maturing, that they could become a better man and a more viable dating prospect in the last decade and a half, or…

Both of those quotes are terribly cringe. A woman saying “if you can’t handle me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best” is a preemptive excuse for shitty behaviour down the line. This kind of thing is usually said by people who have no accountability for their own actions, and think being emotionally abusive is just a thing that happens from time to time, and needs to be tolerated. If I was a straight guy, I’d next any woman who said that quote. The same goes with the quote “if you can’t …

Lmao, it’s hilarious how out of touch you guys are with reality. Women protect each other in clubs and are intentionally “cockblocking” you. You are Creepy Guy and her friends are looking out for her. But sure, every friend group has a fat hog bitch who’s just terribly jealous of her friends 🙄

Men on the internet list their absolutely ridiculous preferences for how a woman should look, but god forbid a woman on here says more men should get a cheap and basic skincare routine... can’t say anything without these guys insinuating we are being shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 09:25 PM

Why do you automatically assume virgin man = awkward and weird? Men praise virgin women for their purity, yet you don’t hear them talking about how desirable it is to have a weird autistic virgin gf. They automatically imagine a chaste woman who is socially normal and pretty and simply has high standards for the man she wants to lose her virginity to. Just because a woman here says she doesn’t want a sleaze of a man doesn’t mean she wants a socially awkward guy.

It’s childish to make anyone feel like they are in a competition to “win” you, male or female. I don’t think mature adults pit potential dating partners against each other to inspire jealousy. And I would be extremely wary of anyone who does — that screams “validation-seeking” to me.

Right, it’s “acceptable”, just like most men are realistic enough to understand that if they’re average-looking and balding in their 40s, they aren’t going to find a smooth-faced companion with a knockout figure. It’s just common understanding that balding is an unattractive trait of aging, but most people are not shallow enough to deem it “unacceptable” unless they themselves meet a certain standard of attractiveness in which they can be choosy.

Well, it’s not really a surprise that a ton of people on here are autistic. This is primarily a sub for trying to understand the other gender and how relationships work. Nothing wrong with asking questions that aim to understand these things.

Fun and goofy is a necessity for me. The point where it crosses a line into “dealbreaker” territory is when that man is using his goofiness as a cover for immaturity, and doesn’t know how to have a serious conversation without trying to turn it into a joke or downplay it. That is beyond annoying. But most people aren’t like that, and know when it’s time to take life seriously in those important moments. For almost all relationship activities, however, I gravitate towards men who can have a caref…

That wasn’t my point at all. I’m stating that baldness in men is such an unattractive trait (unfortunately) that almost no women actively prefer it, and that almost every guy looks better with hair vs without. Most men don’t prefer women who have wrinkles, but it doesn’t immediately make them unattractive if they look good in other ways. Both are examples of detrimental traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 02:02 AM

Women who prefer bald men are in the extreme minority, and even then, they usually want a specific type of “bald” (think Vin Diesel; basically being ripped in order to pull it off). A fat bald dude or skinny bald dude is just not going to be nearly as attractive as those same men when they had hair. Men can get away with being unattractive in other ways if they have a good hairline and haircut. But it’s much, much harder to still be seen as attractive to most women if you are bald and aren’t put…

You just have to get to the confidence level where if a man isn’t into you because you’re too tall for him, his insecurity around that is a turn off for you. I used to hate being tall, but I love it now. I would lose attraction for a man who became weirdly insecure about me wearing heels or being naturally tall.

I’m not attracted to “toxic behaviour”, and there’s no such thing as being “too nice”. There is, however, such thing as “being nice only as a means to an end”, and “nice is the only personality trait I have, so it’s how I describe myself” — the former is almost always transparent to women and the latter generally just describes a boring guy with no life or hobbies. Authentic kindness is a rare trait. “Niceness” is the basic standard for interacting with other humans.

Tinder is an app created by design for casual sex. It’s not a dating site like back when OkCupid was popular, where you could see how compatible you were with people based on a profile full of information and an unlimited amount of questions you could answer. The only metric you have to judge someone on is looks and a sentence or two in the bio. You can’t blame the women on an app designed for shallow intent for being shallow — that’s all there is to go off of. And tinder isn’t the end all and b…

80% of men feel like the only women that reciprocate their interest are “three leagues below” them? If that says anything, it speaks to men overestimating their looks, which isn’t helped by the constant pop culture tropes of ugly/goofy/older men in tv and movies that snag really hot Scarlett Johannson-esque love interests... again, back to being realistic with our dating prospects here.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 02:56 AM

I disagree with that stat, but if it’s true, it sounds like those men need to be more realistic with their lives. Wasting your time pining over someone who isn’t interested in you is quite plainly, stupid.

Except that wasn’t love... it was unrequited infatuation, and that’s not even close to the same thing. An actual bond that can be described as romantic love requires reciprocation. Nothing is that deep about a relationship in which the more intimate aspects of love are never explored together.

Today men learn: women don’t get dripping wet at seeing an average man walking out in public in a t shirt and jeans. Maybe if more men made themselves up in a sexually appealing way like women do, there’d be more of a visceral reaction from us. But no, women aren’t salivating at average Joe walking around the block like men do when they see a woman with a tight low-cut shirt and booty shorts on. It’s not really surprising to hear that alcohol use is correlated with more casual sex partners. If you’re hanging around crowds doing drugs and drinking, you’re more likely to meet other folks who make impulsive decisions such as to have casual sex while under the influence. That doesn’t make it a wise lifestyle habit to get into.

Do you think men in the 60s were content to jack off to the same playboy spread for 30 days straight until the next issue came out, or do you think they were motivated by their natural libido to go out and find a real woman to have sex with? Many men are content with being single and alone because dating is challenging. Rejection sucks. But they’re never bored in terms of their sex drive because they have the internet. I think porn is both a cause and a symptom of sexlessness in men. The demogra…

Men want the virgin who rejects sex with every other man but fucks him after only a couple dates, because he wants to feel special... but the paradox is that if this situation were ever to happen to him, he would consider that woman a lying whore who must have given it up to everyone else too, because they understand on a subconscious level that what they’re asking for from that woman makes absolutely no sense.

Nice is literally the basic human standard that everyone should meet. I’m nice to coworkers. I’m nice to old folks when they’re being slow in the grocery store. I’m nice to people I am not attracted to and have no obligation towards. I’m nice to people when I stand nothing to gain from it. Just because a man is a virgin doesn’t mean he’s undateable. If I was a guy I’d probably be a virgin at 30 because I hate my body and the thought of others seeing it naked. I’m just “lucky” (I don’t really consider it lucky since I don’t seek out sex or place much importance on whether I get it or not) I’m a woman and most men don’t care that much as long as they’re getting some action.

Except most of my comment barring the first couple lines had nothing to do with “my experience”. I get that it sucks as a principle to be a man who is still a virgin who wants to experience sexual intimacy, and I’m not downplaying how normal it is to want to finally be able to do that with someone. I’m only talking about the aspect of how women perceive a man who is still a virgin.

Just be prepared for your “low N-count” dream wife to judge you and reject you just the same once she realizes you spent all that time she was being virtuous and pure on hooking up and only wanting casual sex with women. Women who place value on the intimacy of sex and keep their sexual history to a minimum consider this value when selecting a husband, too. It’s a RedPill Fantasy that these kinds of women simply don’t care (or even more hilariously, prefer) men who use women for sex. If a woman …

Obviously neurotic anybody is unattractive — it’s an objectively unattractive quality. It’s not fair to genderize this preference, because I don’t know any man that says he wants a woman who’s neurotic either. That’s a really annoying trait and in a relationship it tends to manifest in stressful and destructive ways. No one wants to have a partner that is going to freak out over every little thing they do. That’s just not true. I’ve been the woman in that situation and there was nothing weird about it, nor any judgement on my end. The only time it would be a turn off is if the man makes it into a huge deal that he’s bitter towards women about. If a man wants to be a good sex partner, he’s going to learn how to please me regardless of whether he was inexperienced before me or not. Women everywhere would prefer a virgin man who cares about learning how to give their partner an orgasm vs an experienc…

Fundamentally disagree. A woman engaging in an equal exchange with a man by pursuing a casual relationship is not the same as a man who views sex as a purchasable good he is entitled to for the right price. Women’s bodies aren’t for consumption, and a man who treats them as such doesn’t see sex as an act of mutual enjoyment, and still enjoys himself despite knowing the woman he is with sees it as so unenjoyable she needs to be paid to engage in it. He also does this knowing that most of the wome…

If I am dating someone and they’re pushing too quickly, I lose interest and cut them off. That’s why the red pill theory about trying to have sex right away is gross and unhelpful. Women who are mature and have some degree of emotional development find pushy men to be extremely repulsive. When a man I’m seeing takes things at my pace, it’s a sign of chivalry and respect, and proof that he can enjoy my presence as a human being and not a sex receptacle. I don’t have a degree and have never had a problem dating men with far more money than I. They really don’t care about career. The compliments men give women are generally pretty hollow, which is why they mean nothing to us. Even ogre-women get told how sexy and beautiful they are by men, so I don’t value hearing those empty words from guys. No woman wants to feel like a man is “putting her on a pedestal” because she’s his only option, though. Women want to feel special and desired, not desperately pursued by someone who can’t get anyone else. Besides, it’s bad to put anyone on a pedestal, because it means you’re idealizing someone who is as flawed as everyone else, and no one can live up to those expectations. It’s hard to respect a man who has no steady employment history, no goals, no passions, no unique or interesting hobbies (aside from video games and porn), or one who is uncultured, unintelligent, or any number of other attributes that makes one dull. And the paradox is that these men who often complain about wanting a woman with few sexual partners is that they tend to be like 25 and a virgin, where they’ve developed an insecurity about being one and thereby shame women into feeling bad for having 5 partners by that age, or any number that is reasonable over the course of one’s life. They get weirdly insecure about women doing things that are normal for the age they’re in, such as having a couple of relationships or flings by 25, and tries t…

Do women see “free dinner” as a gift that she is rewarding with sex though? I have a hard time most women who do dinner and hookups afterwards are treating the hookup portion as a duty owed to the guy. I think most women see it as a guy she’s hooking up with is making a chivalrous move and he is meeting other metrics that make her attracted to him for a casual fling. I just don’t think most people would inherently consider these two actions on a date to be some sort of exchange — that kind of me…

I believe he’s saying that the kind of men who are unable to get any dates are insane, and also that women being unfair about it doesn’t help. Maybe his argument is that women should be a little more considerate about dating insane men, out of pity or charity for them. Just my interpretation of his opinion.

I’ve never heard of a woman ever say she thinks other women either want or pretend to be 15 for several years. I’m pretty sure every single girl I knew wanted to be 18/college aged to feel like they were sexy/be the embodiment of those teen romantic comedy girls that were past puberty and had curves. So the only inference I can make from your statement is that you think girls/women believe they are at their “peak” at 15 and apparently delude themselves into thinking they look 15 for 7 years... w…

I don’t believe in the concept of “post-nut clarity”, or at the very least I don’t even want to date a man who believes he suffers from it. If a man is so blinded by lust that he can’t function clearly until he orgasms, that ought to be a disability in itself. I’m rational enough to separate the concept of emotional attachment and lust, and I expect the same from a man I’ll be dating. If a man claims he needs sex from me upfront before any connection is made, I would lose interest. Besides, the …

I don’t think women do call unattractive men creepy, though. They only get called creepy when they behave like creeps. If they’re just living their lives, why would we call them names?

No, I don’t want to smell a man’s “natural odour”. A reasonable amount of a nice cologne, however, is a massive turn on, never to be underestimated in its power for attraction.

That’s so shallow though. I don’t believe a lot of men think that way. It’s kind of insulting to assume the only thing they want in a committed relationship is looks, and her being nice and into him is only a minor consideration (which doesn’t even capture personality). Nothing is left over for considering overall values, similar interests, goals, etc.

Well, by that measure, the woman who is having casual sex with the guy probably wins, considering the probability that she’s had more sexual experience. Which doesn’t really line up with the way it goes IRL — a lot of guys devalue women who are down for hooking up with no commitment.

How can you know if sex is the only thing she offers by... wanting to have sex right away? That doesn’t make sense to me. I think for either gender, if they genuinely enjoy the other’s company, the waiting for sex adds to the excitement. Not some check they want to mark off a list.

Both genders can equally have commitment issues, though, and it doesn’t make one salty for pointing out that this is a possibility. Of course, ragging on about the person you want rejecting you because of it isn’t a good look, and it’s certainly not productive to dismiss their reasoning as commitment issues if there is a reason for self-reflection regarding the experience, so I agree in that sense. I also agree that in many cases where someone thinks the person they are seeing has commitment iss…

I think having a very specific ideal career in mind for your future partner is kinda weird, and really limits your dating options if you take it that seriously. But generally speaking, I would prefer someone who makes decent money, has a steady position and isn’t a chronic job-hopper (that says more about them than their job though), doesn’t do freelancing of any sort unless it’s a career in which there will be a constant demand for their work and no risk of financial insecurity, works consisten…

I agree. I don’t think that 1-10 chart of men’s looks that was being discussed here is even remotely close to what I would categorize the people on it as. The top tiers of men all looked virtually identical, and it seemed like the only thing that mattered was having a muscular jaw, which personally isn’t my thing. It was definitely a chart of what men categorized as ideal male attractiveness, not at what most women would agree upon. And it’s true, women do love feminine/delicate men; they are no…

So I stopped trying dating tricks to show guys that I was interested, and just expressed my interest directly without any attempts to play games and read signs. That’s so heartbreaking to read. It seemed like her husband took it as a personal affront that she wasn’t into sex as much anymore after she just gave birth. It’s so incredibly taxing to carry a child for 9 months, let alone go through the stress of a new routine and life while your vagina is in the process of healing and your breasts have a new purpose. No, I don’t think there are any non-bigoted reasons for this “preference”, even if a woman tries to explain it away or minimize how it makes her look. Please explain how buying flowers and restaurant meals is the equivalent “punishment” for men as cooking and cleaning is for women. Going to the store and buying flowers costs $20 or less on average. It’s a “nice girl” mentality. The equivalent of the men who claim women are all whores and don’t want good men like them. A lot of men want “true love and romance” too. Sure, there are a bunch who are superficial and just want sex, but there are plenty of romantics out there who don’t want to move on once they get bored after sex or a couple months of dating the same person. If you’re judging value based on ability to get casual sex, maybe. But if you’re a person (regardless of gender) who has compulsions which make you prone to cheating, you’re much less likely to have a fulfilling long-term relationship/marriage, and that’s more important in the long run.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/21 09:18 PM

That is a generalization which doesn’t stand up to reason in a lot of cases. A man could be getting all the sex in the world from his partner and still cheat if he is the type to have low self-control and a desire for variety.

Everyone has their own perspective. My little sis is in vet school, and her ex fiancé was incredibly insecure that she would be making more money than him (he had a biology degree). I disagree. Spending beyond your means on a flashy car and designer clothes when you have to go home and eat ramen because you have no money leftover just signifies really poor money management and an overwhelming insecurity that you need material goods to be accepted. Women only become nags when there is already an imbalance in the amount of household duties between them. I can assure you, no woman wants to feel like they need to nag and babysit their partner.

The only people who agree with the statement that robot sex will be better than organic sex are people who view sex as strictly an act of the pursuit of physical pleasure, and in my view, those people are already discounted from my potential dating pool. So really, it would be no loss, as it would simply filter out all of the men who could not care less about the human intimacy of such an act. If anything, it would improve my dating prospects, since I would automatically know by virtue of dating…

Because men know that women are the selectors in the dating world. Men know that if they don’t lock a woman down, she’s free to get snatched up by the next guy. When you’re casually dating a woman and you like her enough to know you want to secure things, you step up and ask for commitment. Women don’t get down on one knee and propose to their man either. There’s nothing wrong with waiting for the man she is casually seeing to suggest taking the next step, but I also think it’s stupid for any wo…

Huh lol? A mutual friend called him up and said that she wants to meet him and go to his apartment. That is as forward as a woman can get, honestly. It had nothing to do with wanting to discuss business; the friend explicitly told Jimmy that Nicole liked him and thought he was funny. He was just oblivious because he probably didn’t see himself as her type.

I agree with your conclusion: the more beautiful the woman, the less likely you’ll get another chance Not because I think she has a damaged ego for “being rejected”, but because she has other suitors and due to a lifetime of being attractive to men probably has a healthier view on relationships and the appropriate window of time to be interested in something unrequited before moving on. If it’s something as silly as being interested in a guy and perceiving that he’s “rejected” her, it’s quite tr…

Have you ever seen a fat person’s body after losing weight? It’s usually deflated. I wasn’t even fat, but I lost weight and the loose skin will mean I’ll never have the body type I want. It’s so much worse for fat women who lose weight if they can’t afford skin removal surgery. It’s not as simple as “just lose weight and you’ll suddenly be attractive to most men”.

And yet I don’t know a single man who cares about the female body positivity movement either. At best, they are indifferent towards it, and at worst, they’re openly critical of it (which seems to be the majority, at least for what is posted online by men who mock it). It is considered a joke of a movement to men who say nothing will change the fact that they’re not attracted to fat women. Obviously women as a whole aren’t going to find shorter men more attractive than taller men. No movement aro…

You may as well be paying for escorts then if that’s the game plan, rather than delude yourself into thinking a college aged woman cares about dating you. Right... who would want to see others fail more than they care about making their own lives better and more fulfilling? It’s a coping mechanism. Only people who feel powerless in their own lives thrive off of enjoying the hurt of others. I just don’t know any successful men with their shit together who go after chronically unemployed women (we’re not talking about a woman in between jobs for a couple months here, although I don’t think these women should be seeking dates at this time anyway). Because there is a physiological difference between “getting hard” and “getting wet”. Getting hard is due to blood flow in the genitals; both genders experience this with a small amount of arousal/stimulation. Getting wet requires more — it’s the physiological equivalent of a man being aroused to the point of leaking precum. And since getting a woman wet is pretty much required if you want her to enjoy the experience with you, I don’t see why this is a point of contention. It’s like a woman aski…

A lot of men claim to the public they don’t want a “fatty”, but behind closed doors they do. They’re just afraid of the backlash they will get for dating one. It’s sad and it shows how many men will value the opinion of other men over their own preferences.

The same reason men don’t consider income in women they want to marry is the same reason women do. Men who want a family know the woman won’t be able to prioritize her career anyway, so the most important thing is her personality, looks, and compatibility together. Women take a huge risk by choosing a man to marry and have kids with, so future stability is very important.

I don’t see it as emasculating to pay for a man’s dinner. But I wouldn’t want to see him again. The way I see it, is if a man is truly interested in me, he’s going to do everything in his ability to make sure he gets a second date. Men know that this means paying for dinner; it’s been ingrained in culture from the beginning of time. If he wants to go splits or ask me to pay, he’s just not that into me (which is fine, but even if he did like me I’m not going to perceive it as a very high level of…

Of course women aren’t going to be interested in a man who has “nothing”. If someone has “nothing”, they have bigger issues to worry about than trying to find a girlfriend. And if that man’s mentality on relationships is to lose his loyalty once he has “everything”, then that’s a reflection of his character. That phrase says a lot more about men than it does women.

Most men don’t want to date unemployed women unless they have controlling tendencies and enjoy having financial leverage over someone. A lot of men do that. That’s interesting. I’m autistic and would consider autistic men to be less “threatening” than neurotypical, because generally they tend to be more honest and in my experience, care less about what I think. Unfortunate, but the timing is not worth trying to make this work. You don’t really know if you’re settled at all after only 2 months, and it’s not worth moving around your life or hers to see if it can work. This should be the top answer. The problem is that red pillers tend to pick the low hanging fruit (i.e. low IQ and naive women who are easily manipulated) for casual relationships and then wonder why there isn’t any more substance to them. The more intelligent a woman is, the quicker she is to pick up on PUA tactics like red pill and the men here aren’t going to get far enough with her to know her on that level anyway. Disagree; if you want 50/50 you’re going to wash your own things and cook your own meals most if not all of the time, unless you are referring to cooking and cleaning duties being on a rotating schedule. And if there are kids involved, a true 50/50 involves sacrificing as much sleep and time away from work as the wife when it comes to parenting. Anything less and the woman isn’t getting a fair 50/50.

Interesting. So if the women you dated didn’t initially draw you in because of their looks, and each woman had vastly different qualities about them that attracted you instead, was there any common link at all? For example, some people can totally disregard looks but find they need one specific trait in order to be attracted to a person (e.g confidence, intelligence, compassion).

Initiative doesn’t have to mean spending money, but in general the act of taking initiative as a woman tends to be seen as more aggressive than what a lot of men are used to when dating, and it’s not always a good thing. I was notoriously bad for it when I was a younger teenager and it came across as creepy (to be fair looking back I was pretty creepy though, lol).

Every single post is gushing about how it was the most amazing experience ever, and it always ends with the guy saying “but I ultimately wasn’t interested in her”. If the woman is pulling out all of the stops, it isn’t her doing that they didn’t end up dating. I think it just boils down to what the next top comment here says — they value a woman’s tradi…

A good woman is hard to find, but if you’re self aware enough to know you aren’t able to communicate your needs in a relationship despite claiming that a woman knowing your needs intuitively is very important to you, why don’t you go to therapy and work on that? It’s going to be infinitely easier for a woman to make sure she’s meeting your needs if you can communicate them instead of giving her stress trying to figure out what you want.

Most women, contrary to 99% of porn videos, don’t want to be jackhammered into until they get a bruised cervix and pelvic inflammatory disease. Being the “hardest” fuck is not something we rank our relationship satisfaction on.

Yeah, any man here saying they need a “feminine, nurturing, traditional values woman” needs to step up and offer the complementary role to that treatment. You can’t expect a nurturer if you have no intention of being a provider. Women (and people in general) only have so much energy; there’s no room left for this brand of “femininity” at the end of the day if the woman is working and doing 50/50 at home.

It’s intriguing that I see this comment by guys on reddit all the time, usually when talking about a past date where the woman paid for his meal or brought him flowers, etc. The post always gushes about how amazing it made him feel that a woman would go out of her way to make him feel special. I don’t actually think it’s weird to be a virgin in your late twenties, and I’m pretty sure statistically it’s not weird either. I wouldn’t say I trust any Hollywood man not to be shallow when picking their partner, but I highly doubt Depp’s thought process was anything like you’re suggesting. Most heterosexual men don’t consider the risk of their partner being physically abusive towards them, and it’s also not something that tends to happen in the beginning of an abusive relationship in the first place. A lot of women who engage in casual sex do end up feeling worthless afterwards. I don’t get it myself. I think it’s the high of male validation in the moment which can be addictive for some. I don’t think most women do have an absurd amount of casual sex, though. And I think a lot of the ones who do but don’t physically enjoy the experience as much as men (not actually getting orgasms out of the casual sex they partake in) are probably in it more for the validation than the pure physical enjoyment they get. Sometimes all a woman wants is to know she’s still physically desirable and unfortunately insecurity can lead to her doing things she otherwise wouldn’t.

I don’t think the majority of men who aren’t looking for commitment from women are exactly Adonis, to be fair. Eh, this might just be because of my personal taste, but I disagree. I like skinny guys, and it’s not that hard to be skinny as a man. Sure, most men are more limited in what they can do for their appearance, but a dress shirt isn’t just a dress shirt and a haircut isn’t just a haircut. I think women pick up on when men are actually aware of what flatters them and it creates a sense of coherence to their appearance (ok that has a ring to it) that transcends the things about their appearance they can’t change. There’s nothing repulsive about men putting a lot of effort into their appearance. If anything, western women complain that men are slobbish and care too little. Yeah, I think the men who complain about height but are statistically an inch or two below average use it as a reason they don’t have to feel any personal responsibility for their dating failures. It’s so much easier to blame things on a static physical feature than to admit that maybe their personality isn’t the greatest and thinking this way also preserves their ego. The downside is that they are just giving themselves an excuse not to improve on the traits they can change.

I think it’s easier for more attractive women to hold off on sex because they fear less that the man they want will lose interest if she doesn’t put out. Unfortunately a lot of women feel like they have to give in and have sex earlier than they want to so they can keep a man around and hopefully lock him down.

Either every man you know is an outlier, or they’re lying to you (most likely). I’m not really surprised men brag to their friends about having more sexual partners than they’ve actually had. There’s absolutely no way it’s average or standard for a guy to sleep with 16 women by 30. That seems at least double the average, if not higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 07:02 AM

Yeah, but women and men aren’t the same. We don’t get satisfaction out of hooking up with a bunch of people, because statistically we’re far less likely to be sexually satisfied by that. A guy can hook up with 30 different women and as long as his dick works he can reasonably expect to orgasm each time. There’s no way a woman is getting that out of racking up a bunch of one night stands, or even a quick rotation of FWBs. I bet any woman interested in casual sex, if given the choice, would pick a…

I really doubt the average person from 20-30 consistently has a new sex partner every 4 months on average. That seems absurdly high.

I’ll disagree here. I think they have preconceived notions of how many men a woman has slept with based off of how she dresses and what she looks like. A lot of men who are obsessed with women’s body counts are men whose only reference are internet posts and pop culture, and they tend to have a lot of hang-ups themselves from not having a lot of experience with sex. I agree that I found it strange browsing the “manosphere” and seeing men talk about women having body counts of 30+ to be average a…

I would never want to have sex with someone if I knew they were only doing it because I asked. That has got to be the least sexy scenario in the world. Why on earth would you think it’s preferable to give your partner what they wanted in the moment whilst not enjoying it yourself vs finding someone your libido is more closely matched to? The only kind of man who advocates a woman just allow herself to be had sex with when she doesn’t feel like it is the kind of man who isn’t all that jazzed abou…

Exactly. And there’s certainly no shortage of women on Reddit and elsewhere writing for advice about what to do when their boyfriends have sex with them (rape) while they’re asleep, or after they’ve said no, or any type of scenario where they’re badgered into doing it when they aren’t in the mood. So let’s not pretend that’s something that doesn’t happen all the time.

Men actually financially bounce back from divorce faster than women do, especially when a child is involved. Most women have to either put their careers on the back burner or aren’t able to devote as much time and energy into their career once they become a parent because statistically they have to do more of the actual childcare and household duties, while the husband is able to focus more on earning money. That coupled with the mother generally taking on most of the custody after divorce leads…

Since when did women lie about their height on dating sites? No, women are not wearing heels in their photos and pretending they are actually that height. That has got to be the most absurd claim I’ve ever heard. Sure, a man could lie about that on their profile too, but if a woman meets up with him and sees that he was lying, she’s going to think worse of him than if he just told the truth in the first place, because now he’s made himself look insecure and deceptive. Btw, men do use filters on …

Having an “artificially intelligent robot female companion” won’t make you happy or satisfied the same way paying for the services of an escort, simping on onlyfans, and buying a sex doll doesn’t bring you genuine connection and happiness. You can’t trick your brain into thinking whatever that kind of companionship is real. It doesn’t fill the same hole. (No puns intended lol)

I’m surprised that your dermatologist recommends that as the best routine unless going for roaccutane. I find it far more helpful to use a 2% salicylic acid face wash and retin-A (at night) with daily sunscreen, niacinamide and varying antioxidant serums (right now euk134).

A lot of guys haven’t had sex or experience with anyone at 22. It’s really not that abnormal, and you shouldn’t go into anything with that attitude. Only bring it up if she asks, but don’t lie about your experience (she will be able to tell when she kisses you anyway). Most women really don’t care all that much, I promise you.

So your issue is that you don’t want to... agree with a woman when she makes good points during philosophical discussions? You’ve got it all wrong. That’s a basic part of human connection — people like feeling validated and especially so from their partner/romantic interest. Even more so when it’s about shared values and morals. If you sit around playing devil’s advocate every time she shares her views, she’s going to 1. become irritated that you always seem to want to turn discussions into deba…

Please stop saying “cucked”. I can’t think of a worse term that has come out of this generation... You need therapy, preferably from someone specializing in trauma surrounding sexual abuse. A lot of “counsellors” are really poorly qualified, and receiving bad therapy is extremely detrimental to ones’ mental health, oftentimes making the damage worse.

Benzoyl peroxide is actually one of the most commonly sold acne products that cause allergic reactions. It’s also not the best, it’s just most widely marketed (proactiv brand). That stuff ruined my face in my early 20s; I scratched so badly in my sleep that my face started developing a strange thick layer and the texture and colour looked so bizarre. I’d actually recommend this guy go check out some skincare subs because most would advise against just applying BP, especially with no co-routine a…

You don’t even realize how many of those people who married young and had kids young are regretting their decision, they just can’t vocalize it without sounding like a horrible piece of shit parent/spouse. It’s just your FOMO talking; 26 is super young and there’s plenty of life left to be selfish about before you need to worry about those “milestones”. Sounds like the hallmark signs of depression. Spontaneous blunt affect, anhedonia, feeling like you’re just going through the motions of life or that you aren’t really present in your day to day life. Definitely recommend going to the doctor. Cocaine is 100% going to devastate your brain when it comes to managing emotions and your depression. That’s the first thing I’d kick if I were you. It’s hard to keep away from substances when you’re depressed and want to ignore the bad feelings, but you’re only going to make things worse. That even goes for more mild shit like weed. If you’re going to go on an antidepressant I’d recommend asking for one like Wellbutrin rather than a normal SSRI because that will mess up your libido too.

Ignoring your girlfriend because she didn’t want to give you head/hj is indeed manipulative. The silent treatment is a recognized form of emotional abuse, whether TRP wants to agree with that or not. It’s also incredibly immature. She’s not a sex dispenser and she isn’t obligated to get you off in some way just because she’s on her period. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, and you won’t be making her any more interested in sexual acts with you by reacting like a child.

Yes, this exactly. Don’t push those feelings down because you’ll end up stifling them and confusing yourself later on in life (if you’re young). Let yourself feel it all but react accordingly.

lolwut It’s actually good advice. Women can detect bitter angry men and it usually rises to the surface at some point or another, giving the woman incel vibes from him. There are lots of examples on this sub where someone will paste their conversation with a woman who said something slightly of a let down to the guy (rescheduling a date, etc) and the guy reacted butthurt. Then the woman lost interest, and the guy is asking for advice. When the guy doesn’t care and is chill about minor inconvenie…

It’s different for women. If she’s not going to orgasm from foreplay, she’s likely not going to orgasm from PIV unless she has specified otherwise. So I’m not really surprised that she was unwilling to give you head after a “couple minutes” of foreplay. There’s really nothing to brag about when it comes to being a selfish lover. You won’t get many repeat experiences...

You can catch a boatload of diseases that won’t even show up on an STI test until your sexual partner takes one and finds out she has the herp or HPV, which, by the way, are not always preventable with condoms and can have lifelong effects (like cervical cancer). What’s to gain from wanting to sleep with 100+ women anyway? That is an extraordinary goal, and for what? It’s highly doubtful that attempting to re-live his 20s by having lots of casual sex with random foreign women is going to leave him fulfilled in any kind of way. He probably misses the aspects of his life at that time such as his goals, future aspirations, and feeling like he’s going somewhere in life. None of that can be replaced with meaningless sex and partying.

Notice how he left out whether or not she actually orgasmed from him going down on her (spoiler: she didn’t). I’m not surprised she wasn’t in the mood to give head. Also, men are almost guaranteed to orgasm from PIV while most women do not. So BJ or not, he was probably going to get off regardless.

No, I actually think it’s insulting to men to assume all of them will fuck anything that walks by. I prefer men who have the intelligence to understand sex is a serious act and that have the ability to discern what is and isn’t good for them. Admitting they’ll fuck anything when they’re horny is quite disgusting to me and it has absolutely nothing to do with being jealous that other women are having sex. What a strange conclusion to jump to.

In a sense, I agree. I think it’s easier than ever these days to be conditioned to laziness and want to low-effort everything in life. Don’t want to cook? Grab some fast food. Don’t want to spend time improving yourself? Scroll through 100 different apps instead of reading a book. Don’t want to make the effort to date? Watch porn or pay to talk to an OnlyFans woman. It’s pretty depressing how lazy we’ve gotten as a society. (Insert joker meme here)

I agree with this post. I’d also like to add that a lot of incels/redpillers like to say that once women “hit the wall” they go for a “beta bucks” (I feel goofy even typing these ridiculous terms). It’s actually far more likely that the men that women are choosing in their later 20s/30s could be the same men they would have gone for in their younger year, but who have matured. Incels have a weird idea in their heads that “chads” are muscular douchebros, and a lot of men mature through their 20s …

Both. Men aren’t seeing sex workers out of their love of women. A lot of them channel their hatred of women into their interactions with sex workers. And I’m willing to wager that almost if not 100% of violence against sex workers is committed by men. You don’t hear stories in the news of serial killer women targeting ladies on the street.

It’s only been 3 weeks. Just focus on yourself and do things that make you feel good about yourself, and not with the intention of trying to find someone to replace her. Because when you’re already feeling shit about yourself, the slightest rejection from new women is going to sting even more.
