Feminism, as a part of its intended structure, specifically advocates for equality. Nuff said.

I must correct you. Feminism is a movement that calls for equality between the sexes, whether it concerns wages, the right to vote, the right to be a single parent, or whatever. The only way to misunderstand that is by believing that a woman's right to be equal to you means that you are somehow a lesser man for it.

As a female and a feminist I am appalled by how courts of otherwise enlightened countries still give full custody to mothers when the fathers are equally capable of caring for the children. Joint custody should be the default solution. (Just FYI, being a feminist means I'm all for equal rights for men and women. Feminism is not about turning everything upside down.)

I'm glad that they figured out the facts and put her away. It would have been a grave injustice if an innocent guy had ended up in jail. I just wish that they would also figure out facts and put REAL rapists away. Most rape victims never see justice, because there's "not enough evidence". Rape victims end up with something just as bad, if not even worse, than jail time, when they see the rapists walk free while they themselves are left with the stigmata of not being believed by the police and/or…

Leaky condom? If not, maybe blame yourself as much as you blame the chick? Just a thought.

Not only that, but REAL rape victims will suffer, too. Because it's already almost impossible to get real rapists convicted, and real victims will be even less likely to be believed after one rotten apple has made a false claim. So this one innocent guy will have to live with the shadow over him, while innumerable others will walk free because their victims are now even less likely to go to the police.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
