Honestly most women I know would 100% still be friends with a guy that has a crush on her if 1. She doesn’t know because he hasn’t said anything or 2. Has told her but hasn’t been weird about it after her rejection and has taken no as an answer. This feels very personal for you specifically but the only women I know that have stopped a friendship after one has expressed feelings are because the other person didn’t take rejection well or kept trying to make things happen and made them uncomfortab…

Never felt comfortable at a gym alone. I think this is why I unconsciously knew this kind of thing can happen and my fight or flight instincts were always on.

Thankfully I actually do have female only gyms available to me where I live. If I go back to the gym after covid it’s going to be to one of those.

Personally I don’t think that will be my path unless I adopt children. I honestly prefer to live life with the limited responsibilities I have and budgeting my money for fun things like travel. It will be nice when this is more the norm and people don’t question your every move on why you don’t want kids.

It’s unfortunate that it wasn’t just guys that started to attack me. This was a post about an assault on someone that answered the door for a delivery. I guess human beings just have lost empathy over time. One guy actually mocked me and said he would be the guy that just waited outside the door until I eventually got the package. It was gross I had to delete my comment

Not just reddit I had a problem like this on IG where I admitted on a post I had anxiety answering the door for delivery’s because you just never know and I got jumped on for being a coward. People are fun.

People all have their own levels of comfort. If it was your parent walking out the house in the same outfit instead of a girlfriend there’s a good chance you get weirded out. You are likely right tho he might have the right to his own feelings about the outfit AS WE ALL DO but he doesn’t have the right to tell her what to wear. I just thought as grown adults if something makes you uncomfortable that your partner is doing you say something in a respectful way. That doesn’t mean anyone has to chan…

I mean she has a right to wear what she wants still. He has a right to be uncomfortable and tell her he’s uncomfortable with it also. Breaking up over it mmm extreme but they don’t seem compatible if something like a costume split them up so they are better off.

Honestly this is me right now. I still try but finding a genuine connection on this dating scene is getting harder and harder. Sometimes it feels better to just be alone

Lol as someone that was used for those exact reasons before being dumped I very much agree :). The reasons are definitely different I just wanted to point out it happens with both genders and although men should stop doing it we should be self aware and make sure we don’t do it either.

Men definitely use women more often for sex after a relationship but having a lot of male friends I tend to hear this story of women who started dating them too soon after their last relationship and end up not commiting or breaking it off of them to get back with their ex again more often then you would think.

To be fair women do this as well but that’s doesn’t make it less shitty. For some people it helps them get over their past relationship and hurt but it just means they are poor at dealing with their emotions healthily. I wish people after a bad breakup would just take a large chunk of time to check in, mourn, do things for themselves and be fully ready before fully moving on.

Lmao I feel like I would go the whole “that’s funny he didn’t seem to have any problems remembering my name when he was calling it out in bed. Wonder if he will suddenly remember it in bed with you one day 😉. Gl Sis ✌🏻”

Usually it’s because they think they are more mature and have their life together ..... clearly not often the case

Ya I remember that one. I was completely disgusted. That’s my family you just attacked your ass would have been thrown out so fast! I hope if she stayed with that monster she gave away her dogs. I don’t usually advocate for abandoning/rejoining pets but they can’t stay in that environment if she choose to stay. I’m still messed up by it my stomach turns.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
