That hardly is a relevant question when you realize that centuries of laws to oppress one gender over another will have huge generational impacts. There are laws like abortion laws and women's medical health policies. Having a women need her husband's consent to have her tubes tied? Or the constant expectation on women to be the case takers?

Except for when you account for the centuries of laws that are strictly for men, and against women. When they say that women are the lesser it lingers. To this day where men in power will openly mock women and their ideas simply because they are women.

For generations men made the rules and in that power they formed it to benefit men more so then women. Yes, the rich are the ones making the rules but it's rich men making rules to benefit rich men. That is the system that makes women the lesser.

Part of the issue is the total misconceptions of therapy. Therapy is a place to help you work through issues out loud with a professional, not a pity session. I went to therapy for years after getting out of the military and I didn't even realize how much stuff I was holding onto from my childhood that I I didn't need to be. I'm a happier and healthier person because of swallowing my ideas of therapy and talking to someone. Hope you can find someone who can help <3

If you're not expressing yourself in a healthy manner than your heart does have a filter. Remember, no one in society owes you the time and energy to hear you out, so if they are someone who is willing to, they are owed a level of respect. That level of respect should include the understanding that you may be over burdening them emotionally. Both. If you unload everything since your childhood on a single person in one sitting it can be emotionally exhausting to that person. Remember that by being willing to listen and hear you they are offering you something. They are not obligated to do so and as such you need to respect them as an individual.

That's not how that works. She lied and that was wrong, but someone else decided to actually assault someone without figuring out the truth and that's worse. Edit: you're completely dismissing the personal responsibility that a person has to figure out the truth. And the personal responsibility a person has when they assault someone. Yes the girl lied and that's wrong, but how is it worse then actual assault?

To clarify, I understand that some people would feel upset over an ad that highlights negative behavior by men. I get that some people would get defensive over it even, but how is this a 'men's rights' issue? No one is attempting to revoke a mans right to raise their kids or to say whatever they want. There is no pressure from the ad campaign to inhibit men in any way, it's just an ad. So why is this so heavily discussed on the subreddit for Men's Rights that typically focuses on, custody issues…
