No, no, no, your wife doesn't hate you. She doesn't respect you. She just loves money more then you. Pretty normal stuff nowadays.

It isnt gendered at all, just effort applied. When I went through my divorce, support groups were huge, therapy helped tremendously as well. Friends were different for me, because none had experienced what I was going through, so a listening hear from them was good. But when I tell you my dog was one of the biggest factors in healing. He is a therapy dog now, but the amount of walks we went on, anytime id be sad, or emotional, he would literally come find me in the house and just lay with me. Do…

Oh shit, im sorry man, they will never return shes too much of a coward to be honest. Id get ahead of the game and prep yourself and think divorce on your end. Get your finances in order, any assets, and think about your child. They also deserve a happy home, sometimes that comes by parents going separate ways. She is leading you on.

Its never in any of their characters. But it sounds like she had something else in mind, perhaps it fell through and she came back to a safe option. Id be very careful about her intentions, she was quick to say she had no love for you, but will give you a year? Thats janky as fuck.

And this all came out of nowhere? If these were issues for her wouldnt they have been brought up years ago, or months, whenever it became an issue for her? Didn't rub her feet? These sound made up, by someone who may be emotionally checked out in her own mind. You dont suspect she has feelings for someone else?

Well, was there a defining reason for her to have just lost all of her love for you? Was it discussed when she sat you down?

You need to learn to forgive yourself. None of your ex's actions are your fault. I know it seems hard to understand, but there is no reason for their actions. None. Do not try and search, do not try and justify their actions in your mind, it will not help. Forgiveness. To yourself, to the man you used to be, but not the man you aspire to be. Therapy helps with the pieces, but only you can truly replace the pieces of you that are missing. Replace them with what you once loved, whatever that may b…

Dont be terrified of dating, be terrified that most people you will date arent worth dating. Dont let any woman, or man determine your worth, being divorced isnt a stigma lol, just make sure your a person someone wants to date, in fact I wouldnt even worry about dating, learn to love yourself first, why go back right to the same thing that led to a divorce? Hahah be single, actually live your life, if that requires another person... im sorry.

Because we live in a country where we tax child support, so the states have a need for men to be on child support and pay, so they get their cut. Women are deemed as useless citizens in society, so they must be taken care of irregardless of the situation. Pretty normal stuff.

Oh. I assume for most men dating a female with money would be dating up? I dunno, i value emotional intelligence

If a lady paying half on a date is how you plan on filter through the shit, I laugh in tears of sorrow for you. Keep it simple on these dates that you should pay for anyway, because its a coffee or some shit, ask them deep questions about their ability to learn and change. Who cares if theyre broke, unless your dating up.

So glad to hear! Forgiving is one of the most crucial skills any person can obtain. Without forgiveness, we are doomed to be eternally destroyed by ourselves.

What helped me were support groups, even Reddit offered some great advice, completely unfiltered as well, which for me was vital. To look past the pain, you must forgive. Forgive yourself for allowing it to get bad, this is in no way shape or form justification for her actions, just dont commit her transgressions to thought. I know that's easier said then done, it took me well over a year to stop having the panic and anxiety attacks, as I travel for my main job and I have children. My story is l…

Well hold on, let's let this play out. Its only $750, have her do some chores, or maybe mow some lawns for you, you can pay her per lawn or something, I assume she doesnt know how jobs work or you trying to get her some job history? Listen I got a guy down on 14th street who can get her $1200 a night.. she might have to wear heels though.

You're not alone, when I went through it a few years ago, my three children were always in my mind. I also didnt have a support system around, and it is absolutely mentally devastating. You're on a support system now, call Reddit what you will, but I have gotten a lot of great advice on these communities from men, and women alike who have been through similar situations, none of which are easy. Take one thing at a time, if you two have exhausted all avenues to get healthy, then consider your ass…

Think of your kids first. If you know already she will be vindictive and hurtful, consider your money, assets and children. Now is the time to think everything through before you make any choices. Talk with a lawyer first, get your affairs in order and surprise her with serving her papers, its been 10 years, talking is over. Serve her divorce papers, and make sure you protect yourself and your children from what will probably be a melt down from their mother. But its about you, your mental healt…

Classic double X chromosome stuff right here. She got bored, realized a 25 year marriage wasn't worth the work, and got consumed by her emotions, which as a woman, very rarely can they control their actions caused by their emotions. Look on the bright side, your kids are grown, out of the house, you actually would get a clean break, youre saving yourself an absolute mental health nightmare continuing to be with a woman who detracts from your life. She will kill the rest of your soul and spirit i…

Thats just a thing women say, we all know this. Very rare is a woman who can hold herself accountable. Ive met a few in my life, most say it, the same ones who say communication is key, while having zero communication skills. Women are never taught how to treat people, only how to be treated. They expect the behavior and emotionally respond, they are programmed to look for better, regardless of relationship status. Its a survival tactic, however now its starbucks drinks, Instagram feeds and lack…

The wild part about all this, she tells you all these things, food stamps, whatever else, I bet she has more in the bank then you, lmao. People tend to get dogs when they're extremely sad, dogs have one of the best healing energies, especially a Bermese Mountain Dog. She's still winning because your poor shaming people online, and she has an absolutely adorable dog, and probably makes 12k a week on OF, and you sound like a dude I'd fake a phone call to get out of a conversation with

Oh, uh how do i put this. I travel the United States for work, I have had to put the state they are from and a feature from the person in my phone so I even know who she is for years now.

It's hard man, for sure, I've been there especially with the negative and self hate talk. But that's where you need to start. When you think negatively on yourself, your body doesn't know the difference and thinks it's real. That part was hard for me to get over as well, because it makes you feel worthless and unworthy of love. I assure you, that's not true at all. It has to start with you though, what helped me was not caring what anyone else thought or their opinions of me. Change your mindset…

Smart kid actually, someone said your asking a bunch of divorced men advice on relationships, but we have great advice and wisdom, because we learn from our mistakes, and would love to impart some knowledge on what we failed in, and what we succeeded in. I would say 80% of my married friends, all the guys are absolutely miserable with their lives. They are allowed to get hobbies and have a mancave and stuff, that's cool I guess. I walk around grocery stores with no list, so.. I can't relate to a…

I count getting rid of all those apps as a success story. Don't waste your time on those apps. I travel for work all around the states, so maybe I'm used to being out and about by myself, but literally just do that. You'd be surprised how many women are out and about at these stores, literally for no reason. Depending what your goal is, just pick the appropriate place. Starbucks, btw, is never one of those places. Moreover, find activities, or hobbies that can help place you in those different s…

A platform like Reddit would be the best way for tangible change like that. Why would they want to when theres programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, a bond paid from the federal government delivered to states. Yet states can retain 2/3 of the child support payment received and use it to pay itself back and cover various "costs." Few states give more to families, and only Colorado gives 100% to families. Federal law also requires states when a family member "refuses" to comply wi…
