There definitely is a period of despair but it's worth it when you can really see the truth and learn how to make yourself truly happy. I'm a lot happier, I just tend not to comment here.

'You may kiss the bride' I'd say not a good idea. The whole idea of no sex before marriage is that it forces you to be intimate emotionally to build a strong relationship. Kissing is kind of cheating yourself out of that work and can also quite easily lead to other sexual things.

This is in line with what I've been thinking. Look at our politics:Left vs right. They can both equally be extreme and abusive. They both also represent the 2 brain hemispheres. Jesus taught us to balance our brain hemispheres.

Nothing wrong with a state for Jews, but at the expense of everybody else? Nah mate. If you're pro-zionism you're not RP.

Catholicism is inherently feminine because it worships the involution of Christ (the womb from which he came - Mary). That doesn't surprise me.

I tried a water fast the other day but I caved at dinner because the sugar cravings were too intense lol, I realised I had something emotional to work on. I want to try fasting here and there and work up to something more intense for lent if I can, I'm not sure. I will say something in my gut tells me to do a dry fast but not sure for how long. But yeah if you want to swap experiences etc that would be great!

Thank you for support. Yes I am masturbation, porn and even caffeine free! I am now looking at fasting. I want to keep trying to be the truest version of myself. It's amazing what Christ can do for us and just identifying with him has helped me achieve so much in a short space of time.

What is prideful about my language? I can hear it in myself but am not sure what exactly it is or how to change it. I am aware however that homosexuality is linked to narcissism which is on my mind a lot recently and I hope to quash. I like to think it will come with time. Yes, I do go to church and am doing my best to make sure I make friends with healthy heterosexual men. I have not met men with my experiences but if I did I would encourage them to identify with Christ because it is our heaven…

She wasn't all bad, plus being so young I didn't always know she was being bad.

Exactly, so I identified with my mother instead of my stepfather, you see? I was feminised and yearned for male affection hence becoming gay. I'm male btw. Do I type like a woman?

He's actually my stepfather and I did my best to not be like him when I was a kid, my mother also used to slate him to me which made things worse. I distanced myself from him and identified too much with my mother. Unfortunately he also had no idea of how to be a father because he was very young. He didn't hug me til I was 25. I had no other father figure in my life either.

Oh my goodness me I have just moved in with my parents (Not ideal I do realise but they've offered me the opportunity to save some money for a deposit - this is what happens when you raise a gay son who has no sense of direction in life) and this has been something I've been thinking about loads. I've come to the conclusion that all I can do is lead by example. We had a chat about Christ during Christmas dinner and I said what needed to be said clearly and with confidence, so I hope the seed was…

That sounds really tough mate and it's not something I can relate to in all honesty but I will just say that God can sometimes take things from us to get us to focus on something more important. Just wondering if you'd considered that? All the best mate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
