Because usually poorer nations have a much more lax attitude towards child labour so your kid can literally make you money. Also poorer nations have no social security, your kids are your retirement insurance.

Mostly that "men only want one thing" and that "men are pigs". You can probably guess my mom had a lot of baggage when it came to relationships.

Yeah, I'm rock stupid so flirting is a no go. I really need a 'want to fuck' or something equally clear. I look back on many a missed opportunity because I didn't take the hint or even realize I there was a game being played. Don't go playing 3D chess on me when I'm over here with my checkers board.

This is really a pick your poison approach. Flirting has never been my cup of tea and has never worked so not every woman is going to be down with that approach. Plus, if you're in it for a LTR and not a fling your best bet is to cut the bullshit. Flirting to me is more of a short term goals approach. If you want something that's going to last you have to have the skills to hold a conversation with a woman that isn't purely based on the pursuit of sex.

Bullshit. Two equally attractive women, one in a bodycon outfit with long hair and makeup on point is getting FAR more attention from men than her equivalent in a baggy hoodie with hair pulled back. Men notice and care. The difference in reaction depending on how I dress speaks for itself.

Propaganda is about pushing a narrative that's often built on a foundation of half truths and the misleading framing of select information so you can steer the viewer into drawing a pre-determined conclusion. Sometimes propaganda is also just outright lies. Not everything falls into that definition. PragerU definitely does.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/22 07:53 PM

I sure do. The real big brain take is that every side deals in propaganda and you shouldn't take anything any 'side' says at face value because everyone's got an agenda.

For the vast majority of human history the virgin to wife pipeline was the only way males could be assured of parentage and avoid land and property going to another mans kids. That is the true purpose of the monogamous relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/22 07:40 PM

Sure but it actually is propaganda. Look into their funding, it's sketchy af and involves two billionaires involved in the oil and fracking industries, a massive asset management firm, so called charities that have histories of pushing for election reform to benefit a conservative votership and 'charities' that have directly funded anti-climate change thinktanks. Even their mission statement explicitly states that their goal is to 'advance Judeo-Christian values'. That's literally the definition…

Yep. Men making babies en masse and dumping all the responsibility on others because raising their own kids or sharing in any of the cost of their upbringing is inconvenient isn't exactly a cause most people, even other men, are jumping to support. I'm all for my tax dollars going to social benefits to help ease the burden on parents but who wants their tax dollars going towards the cause of letting deadbeats fuck and then fuck off? No thanks.

Women can be equally destructive about womens rights. You're advocating that a man a has say in medical decisions involving a womans body. Medical decisions he has zero stake in aside from protecting his wallet but can have catastrophic consequences for her. Now how is that just and fair?

Either way you position this it's men taking control over women's bodies for their own benefit and trying to craft a society where men come out on top 100% of them time, regardless of how much it harms women. Wow, you offered to pay for an abortion. Awesome. Who cares that I have to suffer intense pain and bleeding that could wind me up in the hospital while passing lemon sized clots and needing a vacuum shoved up my uterus to extract the stuck gestational sack which could lead to lasting PTSD s…

My experience with traditional men has been that of gender roles. 'Women's work' and 'men's work'. These guys go to work, come home and consider their job done because they've provided for their families. Meanwhile their wives not only go work (also providing for their family) but also handle all the childcare and housework and cooking and social calendars etc. These guys might not be abusive but their traditionalist views haven't caught up with how the modern world works and their unwillingness…

It's telling that you think men who aren't traditional are pussies that women will hate. On the contrary, my husbands efforts in parenting our child, taking his share of the housework and his relaxed gender expectations allow us both to live happily and relatively stress free. What could be more masculine then doing whatever it takes for your family? Traditional men seem to have this mentality of 'whatever it takes' right up until it comes time to change a diaper or do the dishes. Every woman I'…

Twilight invented the paranormal romance genre. Twilight absolutely 100% did NOT invent that genre. It didn't even invent the modern version of the genre.

50 Shades was written in 2011 so it's kind of dated now. It ticked the boxes in it's time but romance moves pretty fast. Paranormal romance and Regency romance are king right now.

Massive oversimplification but...the cervix is a muscle that acts like a barrier to the uterus (where the egg goes during ovulation) so no normal activity like sex or masturbation going on in the vagina affects anything that's behind the cervix. Ovulation is a hormonal process so it happens independently of sex or masturbation.

Why doubt when you can observe? It's not like this shit is only accessible by secret password or something, you can literally find as much fetish variety as you can handle made by women, for women on Kindle or A03 or Tappytoon/Lehzin/Netcomics etc.

If a women does ovulate it can mean that she loses an egg, so increased frequency of ovulation = less eggs isn't an unsound theory. Do you think women ovulate with orgasm or something?

People are way to quick to fall back on stereotypes and say: 'I've never seen it before, so must be special and unique to men and our beastly biology'. If you've ever been a part of female dominated writing areas, fetishes and kink are nothing new. The thing about female dominated anything is that it's hidden from view unless you're already part of the community so it flies under the radar, even from other women who otherwise have few or no outlets to explore fetishes and kink. Have you ever gone to an anime convention in the past decade? It's like 50% women. Most of my female friends have been into anime. I don't think it's setting yourself up for failure. Women and men have been raised with a very specific expectations of the opposite sex that has been reinforced by parents and media but that modern society has been in the slow process of dismantling. You now have a gen of men and women who were raised on a set of expectations that aren't really applicable anymore and it's causing a lot of confusion and resentment as both sides are looking at each other going 'why aren't you what I was promised'…

Not really. In the culture of the book the female serpents are larger and aggressive and push out the males when they're young and the woman in the book was from a caste society where her options and future were limited so the relationship was like a coming together of equals who had only ever lived in an unequal society.

As someone who reads an absurd amount of romance novels....no. This is like saying 'the plot of practically every fantasy novel is a teenage wizard using his magic to defeat the dark lord'. men continue to be the breadwinners. Women claimed the good jobs but refused to provide How can both these things be true at the same time? 'Men providing' was no more deep that the man went out and earned a wage. If a woman is earning a wage and using that wage to pay rent and buy groceries and pay for childcare then, by default she is acting as breadwinner and provider.

Is it that she already knows what to do? Bingo. Venting is rarely about 'I have a problem, let brainstorm a solution together'. Honestly though, I've had so many guys vent at me that I know for sure this isn't a male vs female thing so I'm not sure where this befuddled 'what do these crazy women want' vibe is coming from. Apparently recently regret rates, especially for for under 25 years olds, are super high. I think a lot of childfree people underestimate how often and how quickly people can change their mind on this subject.

You're massively inflating this as an issue. In my 5 year relationship before deciding to have kids there was not one single pregnancy scare and when we did decide to have kids it took almost a year to actually conceive. Nobody relies on abortion because contraceptives are incredibly effective when used correctly and even without contraceptives pregnancy can take a long time to happen even with regular sexual activity and even then the pregnancy doesn't always progress even when it does occur. It's interesting to see how people have spun the current boom of childfree into some sort of a liberation of personal choice and freedom. Looks are most important in initial attraction but looks can only get you through the door. Many women end up marrying less attractive guys because they're compatible with her lifestyle and life goals over a more attractive guy who isn't the 'right fit'. The bible actually has a fair amount of social norms that, for it's time, we're meant to help people live healthier lives. Prohibiting sex too soon after childbirth is something that has been prescribed across culture and time. The cervix is still open so sex could introduce harmful bacteria to the uterus that is still healing from the wound caused by the placenta detaching. /r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 05:20 AM

Do you think abortion until birth is good or bad? I think it's good for the simple reason that no woman is going to put her body through pregnancy only to decide right at the moment of birth 'you know, maybe I don't actually want this baby in me any more'. And even if she does its called an induction, a fairly common practice. Your first paragraph seems to be rooted in fact. Possibly explainable by, as far as my personal experience goes, a conflict between past and present. Just say you view the issues that are likely to affect you as a man as being of more importance than the rights of women to make their own reproductive and health decisions. If so then I fully embrace the unreasonableness of my preferences and make no apologies for it.

Every decent guy was already either dating someone or married. Womp womp.

Almost every guy I know who has used dating apps had the strategy of swiping right on every woman in hopes that casting a wide net would net him something. On the scale most guys are doing it they end up playing themselves and each other by oversaturating the app market and collectively devaluing the concept of 'matching'. When I know that there's an 80ish% chance of every swipe being an auto match it forces me to take the opposite strategy to avoid being swamped.

A good friend of mine tried to engage me in basically bashing my own husband, I shut that down right quick. That's a pretty taboo subject among female friends with exceptions being if the guy is abusive. Even then so many women with abusive partners won't hear anything negative about them so it's a double edge sword.

Blanket training has a bad reputation because it's fundamental principle involves beating your child to achieve results. And this was not being done on toddlers but on crawling babies. If you research into it the subject matter is grim, anyone who has so much as glanced at child psychology studies knows that beating your child until they're too afraid to leave a blanket is going to mess your kid up for life.

Without modern society you, as a man, would be the one providing physical protection to the women and elderly of your family which comes with a whole host of risks to yourself. You and your family would also have no safety net if you got ill or your crop failed or your house burned down or you got murdered - you would be solely responsible for making sure your entire family unit succeeded. If women didn't want to do certain things why did laws need to be made explicitly banning women from education and types of work that were considered masculine? There's an old story about female miners who were banned from being able to work in the mines because the men of the era thought the clothes they wore was inappropriate and would reduce their chances of marriage. The problem, as I see it, is that you seem to view guys as being either ugly or hot. Either you're an absolute god unit or you're short, fat, balding and ugly. There's a massive gulf of average appearances between those two options and that is where charisma makes the difference. Very few men are god unit hot and very few men are legitimately ugly. Evolutionarily speaking it makes perfect sense with how people think humans evolved, that is in close knit, largely egalitarian tribes. Taboos about sex and concepts of monogamy are very likely modern concepts pushed on us by the agricultural revolution because landowning males needed assurances about lineage to avoid territory and inheritance disputes and the only way to do that was to basically lock down a woman or several women and make sure you were the only one able to impregnate them. Dick size is only a status thing in chick flicks and sitcoms. I've literally never had a female friend bragging to me about dick size like it's a new guuci purse and tbh I can't ever remember the subject coming up in any meaningful way when talking about sex. If we're talking about sex it's going to be about how 'good' or 'bad' the guy is as a whole. Is he considerate, does he do good foreplay, is he into some weird shit, does he make you orgasm. Unless you have a micropenis or are literally hun…

At no point did I say that clitoris' in mammals don't exist, I said that they are regarded as pseudopenises and differ wildly in purpose and structure from the human female clitoris for which the only recognizable use is sexual pleasure. This is absolutely unique in the animal kingdom as an entire organ dedicated to sexual pleasure with seemingly no other function is not in any way the norm and we have very little understanding of why the human clitoris is the way it is. It's not an exaggeration…

Your paper doesn't really disprove anything, it's been long known that some female animals like hyenas have a pesudopenis structure but that structure isn't analogous to the human clitoris in purpose. The idea that female sex organs are just obsolete male sex organs is an old, oooold theory that's long since been debunked. The fact is the human clitoris seems to serve no other purpose than sexual pleasure which is very unique in the animal kingdom and as we've only just mapped the full structure…

From what I've heard there's no understood purpose. This field is poorly studied and there's little clear evidence one way or another so I've only ever seen the scientific equivalent of a shrug. We know it happens and is common, we have no idea why. The science of sex, particularly where is relates to the female body, is lagging far behind where it should be so a ton of questions people have about the subject simply have no answers.

Interesting to note there was a documentary I watched a while back that was studying female anatomy and found that when a woman orgasms the internal mechanisms basically act as a suction for sperm giving some evidence that fertility is much more likely with a willing and pleased partner. There's also the big mystery of the clitoris, an entire organ dedicated solely to sexual pleasure not seen in any other species. It's not well studied for various unfortunate reasons, but evolutionary speaking y…

The provider, nurturer dynamic doesn't hold up worth a damn when the woman is expected to be both provider and nurturer. You and Jordan Peterson are stuck in the 50s and are failing to update for the modern reality most married women deal with which is that they are expected to work then come home and play the housewife. Feminists do fight for women in Asia and against FGM. Not sure why you think that isn't the case. Where are you drawing your conclusion that married women are free to relax and …

It's well known that marriage benefits men more than women, especially in a modern era when women make their own money but are still expected to take on the bulk of household chores and childcare duties. You'll notice divorce is highest among the older demographics and has fallen a lot in recent years, there's a reason for that. If approaching is how men engage sexuality and show an interest than not approaching fat/ugly women is equivalent to rejection. Fat and ugly women notice when their thinner and more attractive friends are getting male attention and they're essentially treated as invisible. In the case of things like serving in the military women were explicitly banned from service. Most women grow up where niceness/friendliness is a requirement. I think this confuses a lot of guys who view niceness as a seduction tool because putting on a nice/friendly face was never required of them growing up, they were allowed to be distant and antisocial (behaviours that would get you labelled a bitch for women) and so they confuse the baseline social niceties of women with sexual interest.

Being nice isn't a rare quality and I think most guys in this sub forget that or deny it. Regardless if it's genuine or faked nice is pretty much a social baseline. My god thank you. Way too many guys are hooked on this idea of extremes and fail to understand the key is acting like a normal human being who is interested but not desperate. They also want an in. That surefire set of behaviours and attitudes that will guarantee them success. Women aren't robots. What I like and who I am isn't what the next five girls might like and are all about. It all comes around this this idea that is so hard to grasp: women are people.

Why do you think narcissists tend to make up a ton of high powered positions in society? These people are considered universally charming and charismatic and confident, traits people of both sexes consider attractive for different reasons.

None of the guys here seem to understand the massive gulf between an actual asshole and a guy whose being real and why a guy whose being real is massively preferable to a fake nice guy whose fawning and telling you everything he thinks you want to hear if it will just get in him your pants. Your arguments have turned nonsensical. I'm not here to argue if a 15 year old girl is more important than Einstein or acknowledge the bizzare point that I am not a fully conscious human life. I see no point in discussing this topic with someone who can't argue in good faith.

If you want to get into life for life's sake very few people would agree that the life of a first trimester embryo/fetus holds the same weight as the life of a born child. You're arguing that the presence of life is enough but for most people they understand that a fetus isn't a fully conscious human life. Yes it's it's own independent genetic life but genetic diversity doesn't make it human. Like I said, having seen it firsthand, a first trimester fetus is a glob of bloody tissue that doesn't e…

A fetus isn't compatible with life until a least 24 weeks. That is not arbitrary. Like I said all of this stuff is very well defined that's why you see the vast majority of abortions taking place in the first trimester when the fetus is little more than a sack of tissue (having seen it with my own two eyes I can confirm there was no miniature baby, it was just a wet pile of bloody goo in a sack), a lesser amount of abortions take place after genetic screening results get back in the second trime…

It's not arbitrarily defined at all. Pregnancy stages are so well defined you know exact where the embryo/fetus should be from week to week, what they look like, what parts are being formed, what senses are more advanced, if pigment has formed etc. One of the first signs of my second miscarriage was that the fetus was developmentally at week 8 when it should have been at week 11, a difference that is so huge you can see it with the naked eye.

You can't take the actions of some women and say 'there is a problem with female hypergamy'. Hypergamy is explicitly about moving up in class and status and that doesn't happen with any real frequency. The existence of women who will dump a man for another man who has more or earns more doesn't change the fact that this is not a society wide problem. That's a relationship problem and no one is telling anyone to not talk about it but instead that turning your individual story into 'most women do …

The modern concept of property and ownership emerged as a result of the rise of agriculture. You need land to grow crops and land, especially fertile land, is a finite resource that everyone wanted. Other civilizations didn't make this choice, maintaining a nomadic lifestyle, and were notably more egalitarian and with less r…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/20 03:54 AM

The word you're looking for is embryo. Keeping an embryo fully intact outside the womb seems like a hefty ask since they're the size of about a quarter at that age and barely more substantial than a period clot. Also I've personally never heard of a suction being used for first trimester anything. I had a suction done and it was done after the gestational sac became stuck after a miscarriage. Chemically induced abortions are the norm.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/20 03:43 AM
3

Yep and it's just a fact that at that stage a massive amount of pregnancies end abruptly. Your body has the common sense to weigh the life of an embryo/fetus against a cost/benefit ratio and make a decision. Something no different than what is done in a chemically induced abortion only in that case it's the woman or family doing the cost/benefit analysis.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 04:11 PM
5

Your use of dismember when you likely know for a fact that the majority abortions (barring those tragic cases where late term abortions are necessary) are induced by a pill and therefore are no different from a miscarriage tells me you're arguing in bad faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 04:03 PM

It literally is tissue. I've seen it. No other words could be used to describe it. I actually had the suction used and it brought out the fully intact gestational sac. The whole thing was the size of a quarter and unrecognizable as anything human.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 03:59 PM
6

No, I really can't. I've had two miscarriages (spontaneous abortions, functionally no different from a chemically induced abortion) and got to see the resulting 'baby'. Killed and dismembered is a hilariously hyperbolic way of describing what is, in reality, your body pushing out a ton of blood and tissue in the worst period you've ever had and not actually being able to tell the 'baby' apart from the rest of the mess until the doctor points it out. You don't have to think about it because the worst thing for you is having to shell out some money. Such a hard life. For women it's having no right to bodily autonomy. Having the risks of pre-eclampsia, diabetes, 4th degree tearing, anemia, vitamin deficiency, hemorrhage, incontinence, c-section etc etc forced on you by the government. And then you still have to pay for the child when i…

Hahaha you think women don't work? Two miscarriages and I didn't take any time off work except for hospital visits (not saying it's a good thing it's just what I did). I had to go to work every day while feeling like my stomach was trying to work its way up my throat for 3 months and wanting to sleep every minute of every day. I get to go to work while being kicked from the inside. I'll still be working after the kids is born. You got the long end of the biology stick and are STILL managing to b…

The vast majority of the time women get sole custody is because the man walked away. Most women aren't exactly jumping at the chance to be a single mother.

The fact that you would abandon your own child without a second thought, having zero desire to ever see them and know them, to make sure they're getting the best advantages in life, to make sure they're happy and healthy and not being abused or mistreated makes me question what you are worth as a human being. Such a person is not worthy of respect or consideration.

The first key to lying successfully is not bringing up you have an association with the thing in the first place. It's hilarious how you think my head would explode or I wouldn't recognize the tactics when I clearly spend my free time arguing with redpillers online. What's even more hilarious is your dialogue for my bf. 'Yea babe'. I'd have to shoot him because he'd have clearly been taken over by a alien impersonating a human male.

Oh just the small fact of him telling me he hates the community and mentioning how it fucked with his head. I bet you're all imagining the tactics and attitude he must have used, the magic panty dropping rp formula possessed in this one man that eventually won him his prize ... which, honestly is pretty hilarious to anyone who knows the guy. One guy murders a few people and women label us all as murders even if we are pacifists. It's always 90%+ male perpetrators for any kind of violent crime. This is not a 'few guys'. How does anyone know who these guys are? You don't. It's not like they wear a bell around their neck signaling their violent tendencies to the world.

If this community is making men resent and hate women it's unlikely if you're not having success already getting stuck in a self defeating mentality full of stress and anxiety and resentment isn't going to help the problem any. My boyfriend apparently started going down the redpill path before I met him, he doesn't talk about it much or give any details when I've asked but whenever the subject gets brought up now he gets visibly angry and clearly holds a lot of resentment for whatever mentality …

Hit pieces that are old af. The redpill had a moment of prominence then faded from public view. Like I said, philosophies that work aren't relegated to a few fringe subs and websites where guys complain incessantly about women. You don't tend to see guys having success in relationships and sex complaining because what do they have to complain about? The only guys whining about women are the guys who aren't having any luck. Redpill can't be all that great if a huge part of the philosophy revolves…

Does it work? Generally speaking people that are succesful and happy in don't tend to waste their time complaining about the opposite sex online. If the redpill mentality led to any real success or happiness you'd think it would have moved into the mainstream by now but if anything it's gone further into the fringes.

Lets be honest, what modern 30+ year old men mean when they want to 'date' younger women is that they want to have sex with younger women. Back in the day if you were 30+ and were attracted to a 20-something woman you weren't dating, you were courting with the intent to marry and most families wouldn't allow the couple to go off alone like they do these days, courtship was a supervised and set system that the parent had a large say in because that shit was for life. And even back then age gap ma…

It's funny both you and the other guy are assuming that a) I'm not successful and b) I'm blaming others for said lack of success. I'm simply reporting a fact backed by science. Women are universally seen as less competent, less likely to receive promotions and less likely to receive raises and those raises are likely to be smaller than those of male employees. I've tailored my career knowing these facts so I can overcome prejudice, demand raises when necessary and position myself for promotion b…

Woman: Explains why she's not happy citing common issue surrounding perceptions of competency in the workplace and the difficulty of having to prove competency when male counterparts are granted an assumption of competency and how this affects perceptions of performance... Wait wait wait...so it's a mere convenience, not a need for a woman to have the means to take care of herself but she's also to blame for foolishly relying on someone to take care of her if she chooses to become a SAHM. The contradictory nature of your beliefs are truly something to behold.

Womens outlets were minimal until very, very recently. Just look back on books written by famous female authors and you'll see that most of them were incredibly critical of the fact that they were allowed very little mental or physical stimulation and had no real chance at meaningful occupation. Granted these were all written from the perspectives of well of women but I'm sure being a poor woman wasn't any better.

It's a power fantasy for people who feel they have no power. "If I lived back then I wouldn't be a loser, people would respect me and I could just take what I wanted." The reality is if you can't garner respect in the modern era where respect comes pretty freely there's little chance of achieving respect in an era of brutality and violence. Also war was not the be all end all of being a man back in the day, most soldiers were conscripted and the ones that made names for themselves and achieved a…

Preach! I tend to wear high necked shirts and fairly demure outfits because the presence of large titties and small waist on a female seems like an open invitation for some people. I wore this to my in-laws place for a family dinner and STILL got commented on about my 'revealing' clothes. If I can't be safe from people viewing me as a scandalous temptress at a family gathering while wearing a fashion burka then what are my options? I either have to dress in menswear or like a middle aged nun for…

In my experience men are just as emotional as woman but are crippled from early childhood by people telling them their emotions are wrong, telling them to man up and stop being a pussy and by societal pressure to appear more manly. I've seen a lot of guys turn into rage beats because of it. Maybe they're feeling lonely or depressed or hopeless or sad but they feel they can't express it so they bottle it up and redirect it as rage, often at people who haven't done anything wrong but just happened…

As a milk smelling woman I must protest! FF15 got flak for advertising an epic war story between dueling nations in a magic vs technology story where people worshiped gods of death and with Noctis having a powerful love interest/antagonist in Stella (later replaced by the lackluster Lunafreya) and then after a poorly handled production instead gave us a bland boys day out road trip set in a world that was noticeably incomplete while all the interesting content was shoved off into anime, movies a…

Effect or not, what I don't accept is that these boys/men take their disillusionment and instead of getting angry at the people and society who fed them lies instead choose to be angry that women aren't living up to the lie. Amazing this need to even be stated but women are people. You know how not every guy is an angel or a devil but a collection of traits and habits and flaws that make up the individual. Many guys on this sub legitimately don't view women as people or autonomous individuals. I have to shake my head at a lot of the conversations men have about women on here. Valuable doesn't mean powerful. The only time that has been relevant is in war times when small societies had to worry about small population sizes. In modern times with billions of people now in the world reproductive capabilities don't count for anything. There's not exactly a shortage of humans or a great need for anyone to reproduce. As for the dating climate. If you're relying on nothing but Tinder and other such apps yeah some men are going to have a bad time. That's just reality. Men and …

Your philosophy is based on a flawed idea of female power equivalent to male power. That is simply untrue. Reproductive power exists in theory but when men hold all the societal and monetary power and women are afforded no hard power reproduction becomes nothing but a liability. Pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding all puts women in a socially vunerable position and most women want a man standing next to them who isn't viewing them through a jaded lens of sex and power. Those sort of men tend to…

Women have always worked. Do you think the farms just kept themselves running while the men were in the fields or at war. This idea of women as creatures of domestic leisure was a upper/upper middle class Victorian era invention, largely an idealized fantasy, that persists to this day. Hardly in line with reality throughout history or for people of other classes. Even in that era, the height of the leisure wife craze, you can easily crack a history book and see women working the factories, in mi…

Being a wife to a bad man is. Honestly same goes for being a husband to a bad wife. It's incredibly difficult to find a good partner who respects you and who you can respect, who can handle mature conflict resolution, who has the same values and goals in life, who is motivated to work hard and be ambitious. That's not even getting into abusive spouses. Better to be single than spend every day trying to make things work with someone who is entirely incompatible with you.

That doesn't mean their motives are unique. At the end of the day body dysmorphia just means that these people are viewing your own body with a level of disgust, this doesn't have to be gender related it can also manifest as eating disorders, self harm etc. Body dysmorphia is a complex topic. For some people they are able to come to terms with those feelings and resolve them without transitioning while for others the permanent solution is to transition into a form that is less distressing to the…

I think most people fall into some sort of gender non-conforming behaviors. I've always been against the strict female/male, girls do pink and boy do blue, mentality because it's incredibly confusing to children (especially pre-pubecent children) who are still figuring themselves out. If a child is saying they're the opposite gender chances are they are reacting to a perception of gender they're rejecting for themselves and that isn't something that needs chemical treatment or surgery.
