This may be the wrong sub but do people really not know that cops are not a good resource for conflict resolution? They should always be the absolute last option and even then only if their presence will prevent escalation into violence or will put an end to violence already happening.

You're right! We should also get rid of inheritances. Someone's kid gets shit for nothing - it makes you sick! We should also get rid of tax loopholes. Someone'a able to avoid taxes because of special interests - it makes you sick! In the UK you at least know that you can pop into any health clinic and have your basic health care needs met - here in the US we should get rid of private insurance companies. Someone profiting off death without doing any work themselves - it makes you sick! People a…

Did you though? Working a legitimate job won't risk your UBI. Going to prison will. So what did you fix exactly?

Not to be a dick but low income and debt are so often associated with loss of children because a person in those situations can not afford to defend against accusations and often cannot afford to appear in court in the first place. Even the best employers can only afford to give so much leeway for you to appear in court before they have to put their own business interests ahead of your family court needs. And if the parent chooses unemployment in order to make their court appearances, that choic…

That’s a really unhealthy way of thinking, in my opinion. If the only thing in the world to turn you on is sleeping with another man, I’d say I’m not really the right person to help you. Other commenters have suggested divorce, maybe that’s the right path for you. If you’re not ready for divorce yet, however, then you should at least recognize the truth: your husband is already lucky to have you. It just sounds like the two of you need to find a way to improve your relationship. You’d be surpris…

I’m sorry you feel this way OP. My wife and I have found the women and men who post in this sub to be insightful and helpful. I’m also sorry if my response isn’t helpful but I do wish you would at least consider it, especially since you wrote: I am turned on by the idea of a man finding me attractive Since you don’t think yourself attractive, this almost seems like a fetish. Have you asked your husband to whisper how beautiful you are, or how pretty you look right now, in your ear while making l…

Thank you, I appreciate what you wrote and agree that divorce should be a last option. TO be fair though,I did miss the red flags pointed out by other commenters. My advice would only be applicable if OP’s husband is her captain. I assumed he was because of the sub she posted in but maybe that was an unfair assumption. After reading other comments and re-reading OP’s post, I don’t know tbh.

I’m a man. Married. Two kids. So take my advice accordingly. You should try and figure out for yourself what might help make you enjoy sex. It sounds like your fear of losing your husband is raising your guard even when the two of you are intimate. It’s understandable but detrimental. Your husband is initiating sex so take advantage of that. Explore your sexuality with him when he initiates. Being attractive is not the same as being sexy, in fact it’s not even a requirement, it’s just a boost in…

My Golden Rule: Do unto others as they would do unto themselves. Just forget the often (mis)quoted do unto others as they would do unto you. Only you get to judge your own self worth, and so it goes with other people's worth. Don't bother to do unto others what they "claim" they want, or what they "claim" they do. Words are empty. This is the path to Beta. Treat someone the way they actually treat themselves. Treat a woman the way she would treat herself. If she treats herself like garbage, why …

I like everything you wrote up until: Want to see your ex boyfriends? That's cool, I'll start seeing other people too. Wanna workout with StealYourBitch Jones from the gym? I'll see that and raise by having three hour lunch with Jodi from marketing. The one you know wants my D..yup...her. Who cares if she pouts and huffs and puffs that you are a "controlling asshole"? This is not setting rules and enforcing them. This is childish and not worth my time. If she's LTR material, the rules are the ru…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
