It's not a revelation as to why. Some men are really good guys and have a ton of personality. And women like them for things beyond looks. But too many men live with this stereotype that women are shallow and would never date men who are average or less attractive and that if they do, he has money. Which is a load of bullshit. Women aren't just obsessed with looks and money. If it isn't obvious, I'll say this as a woman, six packs and dollar bills don't give women a good time or an orgasm. Unles…

How would you want your venting or bids for emotional closeness to be met with? If you went to your girlfriend just to vent and or needed to talk about something emotional, how would she react? What would a woman do for you? And just do that for her.

Look. You said Man and then said female in the same sentence. Why??? Secondly, a female can be a dog, slug, horse, or any animal. Only a HUMAN can be a girl or woman. So, why do you refer yourself to a human male, but women as just a female without her distinction of human

Tbh as a woman, the good men I meet stick with me better. I now am able to see that there are good men left. And its made saying no to the bad kind easier. Of 7/10 guys get me flowers, it's 100% easier for me to reject the 3 who don't want to do that for me And by flowers I mean any romantic gesture that takes some effort Yes, I may complain about the assholes more But the assholes and good guys are both there and both show me to avoid in the long run You act like the weird macho men who bench p…

This OP, you need to be with people on the same page. It's not fair to use women just cuz you're lonely and can't deal with being single and alone. Not caring about breaking hearts is kind of a bad mentality especially since you mentioned you'd want to be friends with these women. You don't break your friends hearts just cuz you're lonely. Lots of women want to not be with a guy seriously until 26 to 30 too. Just be honest. And don't expect sex from anyone and anytime you want. Thats borderline …

As a woman. Like what 90% of women do. Is when we get in this mindset it means we cannot be single or without a dopamine hit of a crush. You need to actually spend time single and not dating. Like ignoring women and living a happy life without them. We women do this a lot when we feel like our happiness depends too much on the men we date and or if we have a partner and how good that partner is (in the eyes of others) Thus I'd we don't have a great guy, we feel insecure. The mindset is to detach…

As a woman this annoys me. If you are my friend I'm expecting you to genuinely want to be my friend. Rather than only "being my friend" to get something extra in return. It's like suckong up to your boss and kissing ass to get his attention. But worse. Because we think you genuinely wanted to just hangout and have a good time. But the ENTIRE time you had ulterior motives. Makes you feel betrayed as the woman. Like damn, he doesn't actually like or respect me as a person and would have never been…

Do you know how many people you meet? And how many people you spend more than 2 hours with in your life. It's an incredibly small number The VAST majority of people you meet will never be your friends, family, coworkers or intimate partners. Expecting it to always be a certain success rate is absurd. I have a friend who HATES when she meets people and doesn't know why they don't wanna ha gout with her and be her friend... like why should they? They don't know you or owe you anything. Friendship …

This is so dumb Hasn't anyone thought about how you have give someone a clue you're I terested or else wtf is the point of talking to a person who isn't interested? No point at all. As a woman why would I waste my youth trying to figure out if a man likes me or not when hot man 1, 2, and 3 are making it easy for me? And of course you can't overwhelm her with interest either. And be clingy. As like most things on planet Earth, it requires a balance with the knowledge everyone else is different So…

This. I hate when I'm trying to have (edit) a normal conversation with a man or I'm trying to get to know him and all he responds with are lines. It's like watching a sitcom with a laugh track. As a woman, the most attractive man could just randomly come up to me and ask me to fuck and I'd say no And some people do say yes to people for being attractive Men do it too. Some guys will fuck women they don't like cuz she's hot But for some reason guys make women seem evil because we like sex with attractive men. As if men wouldn't much rather be with hot women. Even if I'm attracted to a man, I still need to be seduced. But like as a woman, I cannot be seduced by a man I don't find attract…

That's not fair. There are loads of stories of women getting murdered for rejecting men. Plus when as a woman, I try to reject men. They won't take no. You can tell them whatever and they will sit their and try to counter it. And when I say no, not interested, they end up asking why "Why not?" And so you get taught to just make a reason or excuse because I can't read minds and know who will take it well or not. It depends I'm a woman. I'm the one who's risking getting pregnant and having to carry it It's always in the back of my head. I do think not 100% of everything should be paid. But making it easier for me would be nice Because I could just not have sex. Save my money and have sex with anyone else closer to home And if the other guy disagrees. That's fine. Not meant to be. To be fair, as a woman, some shit tests are about how spineless men are to get sex So many men literally lie thru their teeth and will agree with EVERYTHING I say to just get with me To the point I begin to make fun of the guy by ramping up the ridiculousness of what I say to see how far he goes to agreeing with me to just get it And then I ghost him if he has no opinions or feelings of his own If you cannot think of how to honestly respond to that, then don't go out. It's like looking at someone's hour long painting and telling them the wall underneath looks fine/better without. Like, just appreciate it? It takes a lot of effort and time and skill. You can like the way a woman looks without makeup better But if you go out to a fancy place or dinner or a date, just accept she's probably going to put some make up on? Cuz it's fun. And we like it? Idk about men, but as a woman sometimes you're a pump and dump. Like why meet again Lots of guys are kinda very much the same It's way less rare for women to have a GREAT time If I remove a guy it's because I don't want to see him again. Either the same old same old or a disappointment or I feel guilty or ashamed for having slept with a guy and thus removed him so I can pretend I never hooked up And even then, there's no point in having a roster when it's just a hook up Like sometimes if a have …

Well. If you manipulate people... they will be more emotionally dependent on you But that's emotional abuse And if you loved someone. You'd never make it impossible with emotional abuse and manipulation for them to leave you Toxicity if used means who you are is actually incredibly unworthy of being loved (or you think that's true) When if you work on yourself a bit You'd be very worthy of love, and feel that way too, without having to hurt other people in the process

Ok? And if you're looking for a long term partner? At a point, why would you want to be with someone who thinks you're better than you actually are And is attracted to the lie that you can never achieve, thus eating away at you, because you know deep down she'd never like you without the lie? Like lying gets you sex, sure, but genuine love? You cannot lie about something that important and then expect them to love you for you when what you've shown them is a lie If they love the mask, when it fa…

She's basically asking you if that chick was your girlfriend If a woman tells you to go out with another woman it means she's under the impression you like the other woman more than her or are dating them I can't speak for all women But when I know a man I like likes another chick, it turns me off completely Because I go, oh, he likes someone else, I'll give him space so he can pursue her. So, she may be like, giving you an out to pursue the woman you actually like (at least how she sees it)

Yes and no, As a woman if you're past 35 and have not been in at least one serious relationship you're a red flag Not saying it bars you, But women see not having been able to maintain and long and steady and deep connection with one person for long term as an inability to do so, ever. Even if it's untrue Or if you're past 35 and still not "ready for a relationship" like sir, you're never going to be, so, no Also, yes. Well Consistency is a huge one. If you keep doing something it's considered consistent You always pick them up on time. Are always on time. Your actions match your words. You say by 5pm and you're always there at 5. You say you're going to do something, you do it. Communication too. If you're upset you express it versus just ghosting or something or becoming distant until she breaks things off. Just show up in the ways you've told her you'd show up Also, don't talk about all you can do for her. …

I mean, you don't have to be sexual? A kiss that leads to nothing can be very fun, sexy, and exhilarating It can be romantic af too If yall are being all deep and connecting you can kiss someone to just kiss them a d share the moment Letting them know you want them but can and do want to wait Kissing has never been something you HAVE to follow with sex And kissing, since there's platonic and familiar kissing. And by your logic. Good men don't get cheated on, betrayed, divorced, used for money, denied child custody??? Sometimes bad people can appear to be good people, until they trap you Men and women go through this. Everyone. Not even romantic. Sometimes it's our friends. Yes. People shouldn't be naive. But that's tje man's problem It's not women's fault you don't know how to be friends with people A lot of men rely on women to be every type of relationship for him A mother figure, a friend figure, a lover figure, a therapist figure And its exhausting for women When enough men aren't able to reciprocate those roles in reverse for us. But lots of us, men and women, unintentionally cause a lot of harm because we refuse to think or care how we are being perceived in a public space If I go to the middle east as a woman, I don't want to offend anyone in say, Egypt. I will dress more appropriately, be more meek and try to assimilate and adapt to those around me holding the space. Unfortunately, in our society, women's number one threat is men. That doesn't mean you should be shackled to the floor forced to never…

Those women on ig are real human beings They are just eons away. It's not that they're pixelated robots designed to get your attention When what your algorithm is based in is what you spend time on You keep seeing women because you keep looking You cannot assess others aren't actual people simply for the reason they are unreachable Brad Pitt is still human, while very unreachable to the masses

Hooking up is for fun Marriage is for life Lots of attractive guys are boring tbh The sex may be good but that's all it is and therefore we don't really care who they are as people When we care about men and who they are as people, in terms of partnership, we can overlook superficial stuff when more important things are to be had Chemistry Romance A good personality Common interests/religion/lifestyle Wants/goals/expectations Etc.

Yes. Eventually. You have to show desire. You can't expect her to know you like her even if you sleep with her because a lot of women have been slept with for because the guys was horny and she was all that way available versus her actually being desired. You have to show and tell her that you desire her

Naw guys be fucking what they CAN. There's nothing to it if a man desires you. Men fuck what they can. Sorry. But like it's true. If I'm the 10000th in line of him asking bitches out why tf should I deal with him like he's not a hoe? Like men will flirt with dead roadkill if there was a possibility for head. Men showing sexual desire literally means nothing

This is what it is Piquing interest then once you reveal your hands proving those intentions At the beginning you keep her on her toes about if you actually like her Then reveal it. By sex, a relationship etc. Then it's your job to prove that those feelings you have are genuine and real or else she will leave for someone who gives more definitive proof they find her attractive or is liked

Yes. And it's necessary. Men have a drive to have sex with more women versus good women. It takes little to no effort for you to produce a child (biologically) and you can produce a lot A woman has to endure almost a year of pregnancy then endure painful birth then has to raise said child. Meaning it takes more energy and time and has more complications for women. Meaning if she fucks you and gets pregnant, if you were the wrong choice. Most girls "cock block" because our friend isn't into the guy and is signaling Especially if the woman is telling you she wants to go back to her friend, she's nicely letting you know to move on

It's super simple People give attention to who and what they like and want Women get more sexual attention than men so it means less to women. We don't care. So, the more attention kinda just makes you another sales man of sex. There's two options You're honest and she leaves or stays Or you're dishonest. She stays for a bit. Finds out, has trauma and cries and tells your sister and all her friends how massive of a jerk you are and you lose a chunk of your friends

So string her an emotionally volatile woman along and never give her what she wants while he gets what he wants? This is what women say when they say they hate men. They're talking about yall

You're a poser and they can tell You're just acting exactly what you think she wants without actually being that Ie. You are a liar And women don't like liars You are acting to get people to like you. That's the problem Edit: and it probably comes from insecurities. You're gonna have to work on finding out who you are and who you want to be liked and appreciated as and actually just be the best version of that

Just cuz you go out on dates with women you don't like or find attractive Does NOT mean the woman is going on a date with you when she doesn't like or find you attractive Women (usually) only go on dates with men when they are interested in them It's like sign number one she's trying to give you a chance

Also, what you try to attract women with is What you feel like you have to offer her or what you assume she wants. Ie. If you use money that what you think you're worth. Or what you think she wants. Figure out what you want a woman to like you for. Ie. Be more romantic if you want a girlfriend Be flirty etc if you want casual And use money if you want a sugar baby Don't attract women with something you think she wants or else you may end up in a situation where she expects something you can't or…

As a woman 4 is super important Loads of guys do the friend thing they're like "here's friendship but I secretly want something else. If you don't give me what u secretly wanted I won't be your friend and it's all your fault too" So many dudes just don't ask for what they want because they fear rejection Women will know they were lied to and give him no chances. Amd he will also never get an honest yes either. Closed mouths don't get fed. Dishonest ones get kneed in the face

Probably spent way to much time curating a life for an about attracting and chasing women that he lost sight of his life an what he truly wanted from it outside of women

You remind me of the guys I've dated who tell me literally all of the horrible things that have happened in their lives, never ask me more than two questions then lean back and say "wow. You really understand me" Like sir, you just went on a rant about your shitty life like I was a therapist One of the biggest complaints women have is men treating dating like it's therapy. This is why that didn't work You weren't authentic. You were a psych patient for an untrained and unpaid therapist

No, because it comes with obvious strings. She'd be going with you and would have to be with you And most likely you'd feel owed for it And women don't like to accept big things like that because of past experiences with guys feeling owed sex for buying dinner and other shit Women will often refuse a lot of stuff from men because often when they accept it comes with invisible strings You're not giving her the trip to be nice. You're doing it because you want to sleep with her and she sees that b…

Yeah, sure. But I get scared of emotions too. Everyone in this age is like that. But to me it's the idea of like warning me he gets loads of women emotionally attached and it bothers him to then engaging with emotions and stuff when i had felt like I was being emotionally toyed with. My ex was a narcissist (diagnosed) and the idea of a man talking about my favorite activies then having me talk about my traumas and his to a point was just way too much too soon right after sex the 1st time. It put…

I've been in relationships and have not wanted one for personal reasons. I have a lot in my life and a lot on my plate. Too much stuff to handle especially if I had to deal with a relationship. Keeping things less emotional is better for me as long as the other person agrees, I've had no problems in the past staying distant enough with a person but still being able to have fun and enjoying casual sex.

I am detached from romantic things because I don't want a relationship. That's not bad. I'm not a person who's good in them and I know that about myself. Identifying detachment from a single post is a bit much. I'm aware I don't like romantic things. I'm aware I'd rather be single. How is that a bad thing?

That's how I feel. I think the person in question likes to have women admire and chase after him and like him. He's definitely after female attention

I don't think you got what I was saying. We had well established boundaries not to go further than casual sex. So when things got too emotionally deep it made me feel uneasy. I had said to them that I would not be pursuing a relationship or anything romantic and they still talked about future dates, romantic esque quips, and emotional discussions about a variety of subjects. I felt like a breech in my boundaries for my emotions was made and felt that it was unfair for them to pursue something em…

I'm just saying, we all have fears and anxieties and that's just dating. Purposefully not being direct or open only hinders things. Doing things out of fear is almost never going to get the desired results. I'm not arguing against the given reason. I was agreeing with what was said, but lamenting and voicing my opinion on the action mentioned

Especially when the same dude complained about women constantly getting emotionally attached to him... I was like... ok? And? I'm supposed to feel sorry or sympathetic when it bothers you when people catch feelings but when you do, you ignore the boundaries put into place for the purpose of no one getting hurt

No, why pursue emotional things when THEY said they're not looking for anything. It's like "Hey I said I wouldn't. But I'm going to actually"

And at the same time, using romance as a strategy is kinda... well not the nicest thing to do. Being honest with it When the man actually feels those things is kosher. But to use it as a tool is pretty ruthless

I mean he already had sex with me when he opened the can of worms to talk about life and emotions and crap like that. I just didn't like it because I had established a sex only relationship with him and then he's trying to talk about childhood trauma and deep crap
/r/seduction05/10/22 02:16 AM

Yes. But at the same time, it's good to know what you want. If you only want sex, it's good to make sure your intentions match with someone who's the same. If you don't know what you want and you run into someone who only wants sex and then you start to have feelings, that's your fault. Imo, I know I may be alone, but not knowing what you want is what screws things up the most. I believe in being intentional because you may get less but you always get what you want and there's little to no drama

A few times, when I want. Yes. If you're alluding to anything, it's not a regular thing I do. I don't want a relationship ever. So, I occasionally have casual sex and make sure it's known I don't want a relationship

I get the first one, but ultimately, with normal women, it's sabotaging everything, because if you say one thing and do another, I can't trust you. So saying just sex then encroaching on emotional boundaries is too confusing and sends crazy mixed signals that make more secure women run for the hills. And the second, I get too, but seasoned players should either understand them about themselves or try not to play. It's like if I know I'm allergic to apple, I'm not gonna eat them even if they tast…

No, but I was the one who broke things off. I told him things got too emotional and how unfair it was to bring up emotionally charged subjects and then to talk about future date ideas and etc when all that was established was sex

So women aren't emotional. Only men are emotional. So what? Women are the more logical ones? Or... is this a stereotype that's harmful to all parties involved?

Well, there are women who lead. But a lot of times the friend zone is a place where men who pretended to be nice and friendly get put because women know that if they're ok with being friends they truly know they're a good guy and they continue being friends with him with no expectations of sex or a relationship. The guy who gets pissy for being a friend and gets mad at the girl was only being a friend and or nice to get in her pants. Aka a douche/"the nice guy" 🙄 And yes. Women phish for attenti…

But getting pleasure should come with concise intentions. Ie. If a person only wants sex is should, for the most part, stay that way. Adding romance to it confuses the other person. Cuz they said one thing and did another. Their words dis not match their actions. If a person said only a relationship then went and did them dirty by using them for sex, wouldn't we call that guy an asshole or jerk, so why is it different if it's sex to romance/emotional stuff? If lying about only wanting a relation…

But by acting romantic without intent to follow through, that's leading a person on. If you have romantic needs you get a girlfriend. Emotional needs? A therapist. I'm not saying it all has to be no emotions but acting like you have romantic interest in a person you don't, is leading them on and I bet a lot of men would HATE if a woman did that to him. I feel like men are allowed to lead women on in this "game" but God forbid it if a woman did the same thing

Sex to me is just sex. It doesn't mean anything. But it only actually matters when there's emotions behind it. I can have sex and not thi k about the person too much beyond the fact I care about them being a human being. I guess everyone is just different. I just assume when he says just is idk interested then gone then interested then gone it means he's a big ol flake who isn't really interested and is just hoovering to reel me back in for idk what. Sure... I guess but idk, to me I feel like a lot of men build up a friendship and then like stop when they get what they want. And it's been years of this weird distance back and forth with us and I'm confused and annoyed at it and we only slept together twice. So idk. I don't get starting something you can't finish.

But if they make it more clear it's only sex, I don't get the point of bringing emotional bonding into things Like the way he talked to me beforehand was that people get too attached And then also when I talked to him said sex always gets in the way/complicates things because people start expecting things When im like, but emotional bonding gets in the way of casual sex... not sex causing an issue with casual sex. Ie sex doesn't cause attachment in casual sex Emotional bonding causes casual sex …
