Yeah same here. Too much over generalizations. But that happens when you are still traumatized and figuring shit out. Takes a few years and it usually calms down. But the central focus of taking care of yourself never goes away again.

I remember slapping my ex ages ago. She hit me first and I immediately retaliated as a reflex, with a really hard slap, so hard she fell down on the floor.
