I'm not sure if there's anything on "nutshot" type of jokes, but the site circumstitions (circumcision superstitions) tracks movies and TV shows

In my day, newborn boys were circumcised, but no one ever said a thing about it. In fact, I don't remember anyone even caring... at all. Which country and what year? For the United States, according to this CDC document, from 1979 to 2008 the highest percent of "percent circumcised during birth hospitalization" is 1981 with only 64.9% circumcised, so many males were left intact. The conversation is literally hundreds of years old, but advocacy groups have also existed for many years now: NOCIRC …

Also, even if someone is only interested in hearing about issues relating to men, if genital cutting is allowed to happen to any other gender then it leaves the door open for male genital cutting (MGC), so in order to combat circumcision then you need to be blanket opposed to all forms of GC.

u/disayle32 Say that to women and girls who were victims of FGM at age one. Go on. I dare you. u/TabulaRasa5678 Ahh yes, the man defending women in a man's forum... wonderful. I think you misunderstood disayle32, their comment wasn't "defending women," they were saying that your comment of "It's victim mentality when it's done at the age of one" is not valid since all types of FGM (including Type 1 - clitoridectomy) would still be considered harmful regardless of if the female was "at age one."

It's victim mentality when it's done at the age of one. If it was done for non-medical reasons, the male dislikes that they were not left intact, and the male disagrees with the cultural reasons provided by the parents, than it doesn't matter what age it was forced on him. The issue isn't just about the actual surgery and why someone would be against the process it imposes, the issue includes how the male sees their own body and how their reproductive organ functions. Males have unfortunately ha…

Besides circumcision, adults are sometimes dissatisfied after treatment for various medically indicated conditions despite them being given the risks in advance and choosing to continue. So it's understandable that a male who did not choose to have their penis circumcised would be mad later finding out their body was altered for entirely non-medical reasons (ex. the father's penis was circumcised, which is a ridiculous reason).

Yeah, if a male has a penis that was circumcised and does not shower for a week while being physically active, it's going to be unhygienic. Instead of trying to physically change their body just teach the basics of washing like you already do! (Behind the ears, in between your toes, etc.)

The doctor doing the stitching was called away for someone else and when she got back, she asked me if I wanted more anesthesia, to which I said no. After many years of your body learning a pain tolerance, you decided for yourself that you didn't want any more anesthesia, helped by the fact that you know the stitches are to stabilize your condition and heal from the injuries. That is different than a newborn who is already having to adapt to so much new sensory input and then gets restrained and…

I mean, good God, most of us have it done when we're a day old. I don't know what's happened to the younger generation. I'm from GenX and I can't remember, ever, when being a victim was a trend. How many times do we have to post this? Just because a lot of circumcision is forced on males before they can form conscious memories does not automatically make it okay. If it was done for cosmetic reasons without any medical justification, and the male has to live with a surgically altered body (which …

Also the group that they circumcised had to heal afterwards, meaning they couldn't have sex for a while so because of that they had less sex which makes the results biased since the intact group would've had more sexual encounters.

After any surgery there is going to be a healing period, so the men who underwent circumcision were unable to have sex while healing thus there was less time for them to have sex and contract an infection. Without controlling for that the study is going to automatically be biased against intact men due to the circumcised group having less sex.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
