| -3 | Masculinity at a cross-roads... or academia recognising that increasing misandry in our communnities cannot be ignoredThat's the extreme end. Go to feminist subreddits and see if those feminists are saying horrible shit about men. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/23 02:39 AM |
| -9 | Masculinity at a cross-roads... or academia recognising that increasing misandry in our communnities cannot be ignoredYou are talking about Suffragettes not Suffragists. The two is different. Suffragists were peaceful and used constitutional campaign methods to advocate for the rights of women. Feminist philosophers such as Mary Wollstonecraft was also peaceful and advocated for the rights and opportunities for women through writing about it. There were lots of feminists and women's rights advocates that did not use extremism or violence. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/23 02:38 AM |
| -9 | Masculinity at a cross-roads... or academia recognising that increasing misandry in our communnities cannot be ignoredFeminism started as a movement for equal rights and opportunities for women but now it focuses less on equality and more on women's issues. So I don't think feminism is a bad thing just like you don't think MRA is a bad thing. Feminism is about giving women the right to do whatever she wants whether be a mother or pursue a career. If women are unhappy then you should look into other factors instead of blaming feminism. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/23 02:27 AM |
