This post shows that love is nothing more than a chemical reaction.

Every single budget can be broken down into ever smaller and smaller subsections, and split over the number of payers. It's the "it's just a coffee" argument

Really, it's just going to be better porn
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 05:40 PM

Why is this always the come back? Like for example, if he said "I'm against murdering homeless people", would your come back be "but how come you don't take them into your home!"

If they want to live with nothing, idc It might not be great if the overall economy, but makes my position within it better relatively, when there is less competition.

Below average men can't get women.... That's just natural selection. Sorry, I don't have much sympathy, and it just means more women for me Honestly, most of my friends don't have trouble getting women either. And no, they aren't all 6 foot tall fitness influencers. Just regular dudes who have their shit together, a good career, and not fat or skinny

I don't think they really care that much about the workers or think about what they "deserve". It's just free is cheaper than paid
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/24 04:22 PM

Because there's probably a reason why they can't have friends. I don't need to know the exact reason mechanism about how somebody alienated everyone around them, but even homeless drug addicts have friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 06:30 PM

And if you're a normal well adjusted person, you also make new friends. From work, from hobbies, from friends of friends, ect.

If people don't have kids, they get outcompeted by people who do. If people self select themselves out of the gene pool, less competition for my kids lol

Condoms are cheap. "Can't afford birth control" is not the reason. Like you have to be so poor to not be able to afford birth control, you might not even be able to carry to term

I'm not talking about the difference between Nigeria and the US. I'm talking about even within the same City
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/24 09:30 PM

It is financially possible. The poorest people have the most kids. It's just that the more money you make, the higher the expectations for the kids, which means a higher opportunity cost. People's "financial reasons" for not having kids is just self reported excuses which don't hold water once they are actually examined critically

It's not "mature" to just send money whenever somebody asks you for it... If she wants to be reimbursed for a date, she should also reimburse for dates as well.

They can say it, doesn't make it true Fact is, I'm not their dad, they aren't my kids, I'm not their parent

Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or no
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 02:38 PM

Since I was never their parent, I'm not abandoning anything. It's simply a return to the default status quo, of them being a random 18 year old.

You don't need a license lol. This isn't a hospital, people can make their own judgements. It's like saying "nuh uh! You don't have a license to diagnose my broken arm, you're not a doctor and you didn't take an x-ray!!!" Meanwhile your arm is bent at a weird angle and have a bit of bone sticking out

Yes, but what people think has an impact on how they act. And how they act will have an impact on you, regardless of it's true, rational, or moral

Everyone always wants the best. The question is what can you get? Man the pretzels you will twist to try to convince me it's to my benefit to have more competition... Lol In every market more competition means lower margins and harder time for the competitors. Dating competition is no different

Yes, but the ratios end up being skewed, if more men than women end up checking out

A victory is a victory. I'm not trying to have a "fair" competition or whatever, I'm trying to get women. As Sun Tzu said, the greatest general wins without fighting a single battle. If the enemy stays home playing video games, and I show up to the bar, that means I won without having to even fight If 50% don't show up, that just means more for the ones who do.

It's no different than any other competition. Get good or get left behind. Overall a stronger competition makes the whole playing field rise faster. I've noticed that today the men who are more fit, more charming, put more effort in, ect compared to 20 years ago are having much more success, and I think eliminating the bottom 20 to 50 percent is actually pretty great. It's like a business, if you can't compete, you go bankrupt, and I'm not gonna be crying for losers. The self selection of the bo…

It's a transition state for sure, but the falling birth rates could very well be a temporary phenomenon. If the men and women who are undesirable don't get married and reproduce, then I think really that's for the best. If the bottom half of men are falling out of the dating market, thats not a bad thing in my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 05:11 PM

Wow you are so twisted up in ideologies and pills and isms it's actually kind of funny
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 04:18 PM

Ambition is more general. Its having big goals and the drive and capability to achieve those goals It just so happens that having big goals and big achievements in the context of careers and financial matters is pretty easy for people to evaluate at a glance because they are so standardized
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 12:47 PM

It seems you're determined to view everything in the absolute worst possible light so you have a reason to be upset you can't get dates or relationships, instead of trying to figure out why things are as they are
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 12:22 PM

If you don't understand why women prefer ambitious men over lazy men, you're too far gone
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 12:15 PM

Idk if that's true. A random man in the woods is most likely to just be going for a hike, same as you.

Can I count all the foreign trips I take as "date expenses"? After all, they make great stories for dates... Also my degree I spent tens of thousands on

I never understood this "too many options problem" Sure selection from more options is harder, but you can easily filter out the undesirables to get back down to less options, and then you're back to where you started, except now the choices you have are all of a higher minimum quality.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:52 PM

In the context of what "High Value" means in a dating context is entirely decided by the person doing the evaluating. Which in this case would be a woman who is considering "do I want to date him?" The same is true for a "High Value Woman", there a man would decide what's important and valuable to him. It just so happens that there's enough overlap between millions of women to give a sort of average of what the population in general finds "high value" or "low value" That being said, it's still g…

Value for anything comes from the opinions of people. You're one of those people. It's true for anything in the universe. It's just that when it's applied to people, people get upset when their valuation of themselves does not match up with the valuation of others. "High Value" just means there's enough overlap among enough people that all consider something high value. This applies to cars, houses, food, and yes, to romantic and sexual partners too
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 06:05 PM
2

Yes, every individual has their own things they find valuable or not. But humans are all pretty similar, so it tends to average out You also do have clusters of what people consider valuable. For example what's considered high value traits in man in New York might be different than high value traits in a tribe in the Amazon
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:57 PM
7

How much you can pull is not "value". It's simply a characteristic of you. The same with your age or height for example. Wether or not that is "valuable" depends on if it's something other people need. Value would come from if somebody else needed a strong man to pull something, then being able to pull something heavy would have value You're right, you do have value to yourself, because you are a person, and you are evaluating, so it's valid to say you are high value, to yourself. But that's tru…

He could be looking for a LTR, but just because he didn't have it with her doesn't mean he lied
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:42 PM

Nothing in the universe is worth anything unless a person finds it to be of worth to them Presumably she would want to be with a man who has some characteristics that she finds worthwhile
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:29 PM
6

Value is always determined by other people. It's not an objective metric, it's just a fancy word for "how much people like something" ""Validation" is when somebody expresses their value judgement publicly
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:26 PM
2

In the context of dating, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:05 PM
5

"value" comes from others pretty much by definition. The whole concept of "value" does not exist outside of somebody doing the "evaluation"
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:00 PM

Obviously to who exactly? It's really a value judgement, determined by the people doing the actual paying. Somebody's opinion of the correct price for a service, doesn't really matter if they aren't even in the market for that service to begin with It's like somebody saying "Ferrari is overpriced" when they take the bus
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:18 PM

There's no such thing as objective "value", so any "value" judgements is really just the average of the people involved If you feel that managerial and therapy tasks are overvalued, or not worth the costs, you are free to not use those services, both in commercial and private relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:00 PM

Outside the relationship, the value of any given position or labor is determined by the market If a person is overestimating their value they just won't find people willing to pay for their services. In a relationship, you can negotiate the value of different tasks with your partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 12:48 PM

"emotional labour" can easily be divided But there are different types. For example emotional support and therapy type services are one type Another type is stuff like planning, tracking items, ect The term "emotional labour" has become too wrapped up in the gender culture wars, but the reality is that all the different aspects of "emotional labour" are just regular labour, and companies, governments, and other organizations fully recognize and pay for these services Managerial and therapy tasks…

You're right. It's also about the quality of your partner who you reproduce with, and the number of children you have.

Who's to say who should or shouldn't. The fact that somebody did means they beat everyone else who didn't.

The fact that you're equating controlling your emotions with "cheating" and calling it "immoral" is wild to me

You're talking about orgasm gap, and risks, and costs of sex, but none of that matters. If you want the dick badly enough, it's still your choice to have sex, and you're not being "used", because all those risks and costs are things you willingly overlook to get what you want. It's only when you start thinking of using sex to get something else that you can even get "used for sex" in the first place If someone tells you they like you, that's not a lie if they leave you later They could like some…

You're talking about your internal feelings, but that's not the same thing as how you act You can present and carry yourself as feeling any emotion, even when not feeling that emotion. Actors do it professionally, but most normal people know how to do this to some extent as well. It's a skill like any other, and takes practice
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 09:31 PM

Sex is presumably a mutually pleasurable activity If some woman is claiming she got "used" for sex, she's really just telling on herself that just using sex to manipulate the man, and it didn't work
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 09:21 PM
2

Sex is mutual So if a woman finds herself being "used" for sex, that's a sign that she wasn't really attracted to the man and instead of wanting to have sex because she likes him It means she instead tried to manipulate some man to settle for her into a relationship, but it didn't work out so now she's feeling "used"
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 01:05 PM

Well for one don't call it a starter girlfriend Just say you saw things of concern from the beginning, wanted to give it a chance, but then it didn't work out
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 10:03 PM
5

"intentionally dating someone you're not into" is only like the most extreme case In real life it's just giving somebody who isn't "totally perfect" chance, and then having it not work out
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 09:00 PM
2

Yeah I don't know why you would put it so crudely. Of course people are going to be put off by the terms "starter girlfriend" Just say you were inexperienced, wish her the best, but found out you were incompatible for whatever reason
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 08:58 PM
2

Was it a failed relationship? Or was it a successful relationship that she outgrew or replaced? If she enjoyed her time with the men and stayed together while times were good, and then she found a new good relationship, that's not necessarily a "failure"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 08:56 PM
3

Ok, I see you have a problem with the specific verbiage of "starter girlfriend" Would reframing it in the following way ease your conscience: You should date who you want, but it's ok to break up at some future date if your partner no longer meets your needs or desires? Because that's going to be effectively the same thing. A guy is going to get into a relationship, become more confident/attractive, level up, get promoted, ect, and want a leveled up girlfriend
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 08:53 PM

Women say what's "nice" and what "they would like to see" Men tell other men what works/doesn't work
