I agree with this. I am more highlighting the dichotomy between the perception of radfem as subversive and what this trend suggests. Does anyone remember the " we are the witches you couldn't burn" campaign? Fun fact , about 1/3 or more of all witch killings in Medieval Europe were men. Some places the male victims were the majority. A lot these killings were also done out of political or material reasons ( unsurprisingly) and may have had nothing to do with religion, and or the victim wasn't pagan at all.

It's important to note that before the discourse around this study , the overwhelming popular narrative was that lesbians did not do IPV that it was straight people only. Not being from UK but hearing about it quite a bit , it would seem that anti pedophile narratives or anti Nonce narrative is extremely popular so it wouldn't suprise me if more female nonces being caught might be skewing the data. I got presented with poverty stats recently as " fewer men are in poverty ". Looking it up I saw that this was mostly due to a spike 18-25 , that decreases to less than a percent by 64. This spikes again after 75... Why present stats in an and or narrative instead of it sucks ( in ways that affect different intersections differently at differebt ages and contributes to a shitty ecology) to be poor. I can't stand needless erasure by means of slanted use of stats.
