Zalenski is actually a very good example of POSITIVE masculinity - which is exactly why us women cream over him. Putin is an example of TOXIC masculinity. He's essentially fucking over innumerable people because of his own pride and thirst for power. Ukraine is actually quite traditional in regards to gender. It's in Eastern Europe which isnt comparable to culture in the us and western Europe. 3.gender roles can and should be contextual.

Millenial here: People romanticise the past but we had a ton of problems. Pressure on women to stay super skinny. Growing up you were surrounded by perfect bodies and no company wanted to diversify its advertising. Big companies now have different shapes, sizes, races and abnormalities. Being dark is not the same as being non-PC. You can make dark jokes and jokes about controversial things without marginalizing or taking the piss put of certain jokes. As Ricky Gervais (a massive leftist btw) said 'a joke target and a joke subject are very different'. Unfortunately lots of people dont understand the nuances.
