I've read about women protesting Title 9 supporting men in higher education. They apparently seem to have the mindset that women are always behind and so always deserve advantages, even in situations where women clearly are the majority and already HAVE advantages/dominance. In the US boys and men are made "accountable" well before they reach 18. Under current US laws if a woman rapes an underage boy, gets pregnant and chooses to give birth then the (male) RAPE VICTIM will be forced to pay child support. I remember seeing a study that compared women and men full time workers. It found that a much larger percentage of women work 30-35 hours per week and a MUCH higher percentage of men work 50+ hours per week. So men earn more than women, possibly because they're working much longer than woman. And since men work more hours than women they have higher earnings. Power of the purse. Men earn the money, women spend it. Yes, many women do usually do grocery/clothes shopping for their families. That still leaves them choosing what groceries/clothes get bought.
