This guy just wants a wingman with female genitals. A party mate. A gaming partner. Also the whole "I want her to be there when I want her to and not to be there when I don't want her to" - jfc he wants a sex robot Also it's all about 'me, me, me and my wants'. Super selfish.

It's just a temporary blip. You have been triggered and you had an emotional flashback. You will be probably fine in a few days if you had a long(ish) OK period before. Google these, there are ways to deal with emotional flashbacks.

Seen the same. And then the lvm will either cheat, break up or emotionally check out because "she is no fun anymore/got fat" or some other bs. No shit Sherlock, if you use her up she will look like it....

Saved, thank you. Just remark though that for me the type of vulnerabilities that can be shared are also meaningless, se he might (!) feel more connected but I will probably not....

Sometimes. Very rarely. Like if they were a womaniser but had never watched porn. Even then some tough life events are what could provide a wake up call. Which they either use or not to improve themselves. Some do. Even then, whoever gets together with a reformed man she might have to put up with consequences of their past. Be it health or LV children, etc.

That's like they are cherrypicking principles 🍒 , yeah. I have seen people doing it with organised religions, why not with JP

Exactly. Most holidays are just societal constructs, but we keep them because ... we live in a society. Lol

Had an LVM ex, never made any significant amount with day trading in 10 years. Maybe a Christmas present money.

You are going through one of the hardest life experiences, not easy. It took a long time and it got worse before it got better, but it gets better, I promise

Commiserations. I have lived through similar. You will be OK- and probably happier in the long run.

Is he saving AT THE MOMENT? Like right this month? If not, dump him. If yes he needs to save 10 months out of 12, every year for 2-3 years to be considered reliably financially responsible. The 2 months exception are one month for Christmas and one for a summer holiday. He can use what he would have saved in those months - but no credit cards! Do you have 2+ years to wait before you decide???

Three dates, no sex and he 'breaks it off' in person? Her looks as reason might be shallow, but at least he has some spine Wheter he finds someone better looking is his risk and not our problem

Good tip. Wish I knew it in my twenties. But I will make sure to use it if ever necessary from now on. Hope it won't be, but it's good to be prepared. Thank you for this tip, OP!

OK, I live in Europe, so no fights with anyone armed, but IF I saw an opportunity I would fight alongside my partner against ONE UNARMED intruder. Like hitting them on their head from behind opportunity. When I'm sure there is only one of them. My advantage is that Intruders don't expect any resistance from small middle aged women, so they just might turn their backs to me. Biiig mistake. Big. Huge.... But if it was too risky I would run and call for help ASAP, because that is the best way to he…

Just copying my answer from another fds post: "Worse, we had no children (luckily), but he was on minimum wage (in his thirties) and was hiding his huuuge resentment over me out-earning him. Gave me the worst advice he could got away with. Took me years to see through him - and leave his ass. But I lost my best years to go ahead in my career. Not all is lost, but I could be making more had I not taken his advice - and his f***ing convenience - into account. Oh, and BTW he is balding and getting …

You will be alone- FOR A WHILE. Once you have the time - and emotional energy - you will meet new people. You will make friends. You will, I promise. It takes time but it does happen!

I'm so sorry. My partner had died and his previous girlfriend - who was preferred by his son - badmouthed me to the whole expat community. My sin? I didn't cheat on him and I nursed him through his cancer. She left him at his previous cancer... There are people who didn't believe her, I'm sure, but I just don't care enough to figure out which ones. Not sure I have ever seen as an advice here, but a toxic ex can do a lot of harm to you, so put that onto your vetting list ladies if your good name …
