I’m not advocating for forcing men to fight when they don’t want to. That’s terrible. Their military must be pretty sorry if they need to start relying on civilians. This is like a draft, mandatory military service. Id rather have men fight rather than women though. Who knows? Maybe women will be next.

I doubt if 1 Ukrainian is seriously thinking about gender equality right now. At the same time I bet there are more than a few Ukrainians who choose to stay. For the government, survival supersedes equal rights by far. Gender equality is so on the back burner for sure. They have more pressing issues like missiles hitting civilian targets, and the like. I think it’s like that for the people too. They’re hunkered down in the underground train stations to escape the missiles and bombs. They don’t give a shit about equal rights right now, they’re trying to survive! It’s life or death… People who don’t want war should be able to get out? It’s way too late…

Cmon, this isn’t about equal rights between men and women at all. That’s the last thing on their minds. They’re so down and desperate they created a draft of sorts. They’re on the brink of losing everything. Equal rights is a luxury reserved for peacetime affluent countries.
