| 1 | Judge increased my overnights but refused to decrease CS. Can I get credits for that later and reduce CS amount ?To your question, I think you have to file a request for child support modification with the court to change the amount. It depends on the state but getting retroactive support payments back after you paid them is only allowed to the date you filed the support modification with the court. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/22 05:29 PM |

But at that point I was locked into the shitty parenting time of 30/70. If you’re trying to get 50/50 then it’s an uphill battle. If your son plays in a back yard today, try to have a back yard at your place. Onc… | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/07/22 05:58 PM |
| 9 | Custody QuestionI would be concerned about her not wanting 50/50 for the reason she stated. 50/50 would actually be the least disruptive for the kids if you do one week on and one week off. They get good quality time with each parent that way. If you agree to less than that, know that it’s almost impossible to increase your time with your kids. I had roughly 30/70 and it was really shitty. Especially as they get older. Make sure you get a house right near them, ensure that they have their own rooms and set up t… | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/07/22 05:42 PM |
