I'm curious about whether meeting romantic partners through work, school, mutual friends, family, or community organizations also entails some sort of "approaching". At least in my personal experience, the way men meet women through these means is usually by going up to the woman and expressing romantic interest, but I can't actually speak for whether that applies to society at large. Does any of your research indicate how relationships were initiated back during this period?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
