I stayed for 12 years out of fear - I had nowhere to go.. Started drinking and gaming. It's over just few months now.. Still lost, devastated afraid of the future.. But sure, there's no turning back..

Look, it's your brain's job to predict negative future. All the happy monkeys became someone's breakfast. You cannot turn of thes thoughts, but you can observe them. Hey, there. I am couples therapist and mediator. The biggest problem is that people cannot talk about complicated topics without emotions. And emotions can cause people to overreact. So Mediator's job is to keep your conversation in productive stream. Advices - before you go there, decide what you want to get as the result.
