| -4 | No wonder there is a Gender-wage gap.The whole point of this sub is misogyny disguised as justice | /r/PussyPassDenied | 11/02/19 02:28 PM |
| -1 | Russell Simmons as well as other rap moguls can expect to pay ~$10,000/month for child support. Do you really need $120k/year to raise a child? There is absolutely no way to legislate that effectively. Literally every provider could just refuse to pay more than a few thousand a year while they hoard under the guise of "my children have to earn it all themselves!" In an age in which there is little upward mobility, and parental wealth is the greatest predictor of social status, it's highly unlikely that parents would have the attitude you're arguing here. If the job creates wealth in the short term, then guess what? The father/mother onl… | /r/MensRights | 16/06/14 11:45 PM |
| 2 | Russell Simmons as well as other rap moguls can expect to pay ~$10,000/month for child support. Do you really need $120k/year to raise a child?Let me point out a few problems with that. a) It's contradictory to suggest a child is entitled to affluent living conditions, and that the non-custodial parent has to pay for it despite a reduced earning potential. This creates an incentive to reduce the standard of living and spend less than child support would entitle the kid to. b) Proving that all money gets spend on the child means a LOT of audits have to happen, and that's really opening the door for legal abuse. Finally, nothing ensures … | /r/MensRights | 16/06/14 08:47 PM |

Do you really need $120k/year to raise a child?Any guy who is rich and only gives his kids the bare minimum is a total scumbag in my book. These child support laws attempt to prevent that, and like welfare, I don't think dismantling a system entirely is the panacea for abuse. | /r/MensRights | 16/06/14 06:47 PM |
| 1 | [POLL] How many Dad's are here today not being able to see the kids they love and pay for while your ex, your kids and their 'new Dad' is enjoying the day being honored instead of you?Don't condescend, I'm well aware of what it means. An example of a woman upholding patriarchy would be a wife who feels it's her job to take care of children, but a man should be a sole breadwinner. | /r/MensRights | 16/06/14 06:04 PM |
| 1 | [POLL] How many Dad's are here today not being able to see the kids they love and pay for while your ex, your kids and their 'new Dad' is enjoying the day being honored instead of you?So men are to blame for men's problems? You're implying that women can't also support patriarchy | /r/MensRights | 16/06/14 05:50 PM |
| 0 | [POLL] How many Dad's are here today not being able to see the kids they love and pay for while your ex, your kids and their 'new Dad' is enjoying the day being honored instead of you? After all, children belong with the mothers, right? That's a byproduct of patriarchy, which feminists seek to eliminate. | /r/MensRights | 16/06/14 04:18 AM |

| 1 | Prisons: Institutionalized racism, but not sexism?I thought that in assault cases the victim has to actually file a complaint for anything to be done. When it's domestic, yes, but when it's on tape outside of the home, no, the state can certainly step in. | /r/MensRights | 17/05/14 07:48 PM |
| 5 | Prisons: Institutionalized racism, but not sexism? How is preferential treatment a bad thing though? Women receive lighter sentences for the same reason they're less likely to obtain management positions in certain fields--we see them as less responsible than men. | /r/MensRights | 17/05/14 07:46 PM |
| 11 | Gay male nfl player. It has to do with mensrights because gay men are men too and shouldn't have their masculinity doubted. This is more on topic than the several posts about whiteness getting upvoted. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/14 07:46 AM |
| -10 | This video made me more than a little sick: White Guys: We Suck and We're SorryYou're pretty much paraphrasing Stormfront's mantra ("anti racist is anti white"...that phrase gets tossed around all over the web, there's no way your post is a coincidence), and that kind of rhetoric isn't appropriate for this sub. This is about men of all colors and what we share as a whole, and not your persecution complex. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/14 07:39 AM |
| 0 | I actually don't know if you guys would like this or not. But I found it super funny.I don't think there's any need to pander to feminists, even in jest. Notice how the "systemic Patriarchy" was slipped in there? Yeah--there's no such thing in the western world. If there was, not only would this comic not need to exist, but feminist institutions at every single higher education institution in the western world wouldn't need to exist, and women would have to simply shut up, woman up, and take the lot they get in life, like women in actual patriarchies like Yemen or Saudi Arabia. … | /r/MensRights | 11/05/14 05:53 AM |
