Hes 65 he bought a house with his art hes been doing it for 40+ years and hes work goes for 40k .somehow i dont think he will listen to me if i tell him to "upskill"/ hes not going to make it.I dont think you understand the art world.

You are referring to cookie cutter artists who treat it is a hobby and doodle in there sketchbook. I also have a artist friends who sells his work for 40k euros a artwork and they sell There are also bursary and grants that serious artists receive on top of revenue and commisions I take your point that not everyone is going to be successful but there are a lot of successful artists out there making serious money

It shows he has potential in the future to provide/earn resources through his talent even if he his currently a starving artist He is different and stands out from the majority of men it also depends if he is good,i know a well known artist who has won awards and he slays in the dating world because of this The girl just may love art and see an instant connection with him through his art
