Of course, a childs natural instinct tells it that the mother is for caring and the father is for safety. I never said what is natural but that our instinct shouldn't be ignored. Hence if the father is for safety then he is bigger and stronger

I can say that this effect is partly true. The childs instinct when he wants to be cared for is to go to his mother. So this is partly true because of the roles of parents, where the woman cares for the family and the man defends the family, the same way a wolf pack leader is the first one to stand in defence of the pack
