If you end up with a spousal support order it's because you chose to marry someone unemployed or who makes exponentially less than you. If they want to stop working after you marry, you can very simply say "no, keep working or I'll divorce you." It's almost like you have free will! You're not giving all the information, because child support calculators do not use gender as a variable. It's a specific formula that in your case would result in your ex paying you more child support than you owe. There has to be an established history of income before it can be imputed, your UPS-Wal-Mart example is not valid. Think more like an electrical engineer who quits their job as soon as they get the child support order and becomes a fry cook at McDonald's.
