Where in the world is a sprite worth $10

It’s likely because under the law, what was done isn’t considered rape. It was sexual assault or sexual violence or some other category. From a legal perspective, raping boys is a bit harder. I’m not saying that it’s right, I just wanna comment on the ‘why’.

Glad someone agrees. If it’s bad when it happens to men, it’s also bad when it happens to women.

Honestly this isn’t a big deal in my opinion. I’m not sure what the ratio of Women to Men is at a Taylor Swift concert but I’m sure it’s pretty high. So if they use both restrooms cause of the sheer number of them, I don’t care.

Better as in having better insults? Or as on being the better person?

I generally try to avoid insulting the people I argue with, but in this case that’s honestly a justified response.

I’m not trying to establish a point system? I never said anything about giving people privilege points? Maybe I could have used a better word than “meter” but I didn’t think that would imply points anyway. Also, I fail to see how Nick is extremely privileged? Is he making a large income from his books and speeches? If that’s the case then sure, he’s been able to work through his disadvantages and I commend him. But to say that being born without arms and legs isn’t a disadvantage sounds a bit ri…

I get what you’re saying and I agree the book uses poor logic. What I’m saying is those three that I mentioned previously are probably a good indicator of privilege; they’re much better indicators than Sex or Race in most cases. No meter will ever be perfect though because people are individuals. The way I was thinking about it was more like this: You take two people, same race, same nation of origin, same income, etc. but one has is a paraplegic and one is not, the individual who is able bodied…

Obviously not everyone with those aspects is going to be privileged, but if you’re someone who is wealthy, able-bodied, and from a developed nation, you’re probably more privileged than someone who doesn’t have attributes. That’s regardless or someone’s race or gender. I, an able bodied, middle class, American, can definitely say I’m more privileged than an injured, poor farmer, from Guatemala.

Some of these aren’t too bad. Wealthy, able-bodied, and from a developed nation all sound like pretty privileged positions.

It’s just a joke mate. It’s little things like this which stop people from taking us seriously.

This is unironically the best take to have. I’m glad it hasn’t been a big deal to you; everyone deserves to feel secure with their body. Personally I’m not against the operation, I just think it’s important for people to have autonomy over their bodies and that’s the most important thing we can agree on.

The replies to the tweet are a bit disheartening. A lot of men saying “my dick works so it’s fine”. I don’t know how some people have such a lack of perspective.

Thank you. I always hesitate to believe tweet screenshots if they don’t come with a source or up to date info.

Does anyone have a like or reference for where that stat comes from?

I agree that a false rape claim should be a crime, but it can also be a little dangerous. We don’t want innocent men getting locked up, but we don’t want innocent women being locked up either. If it’s going to be a crime, it needs to be probable that there was malicious intent. If there isn’t enough evidence to convince an alleged rapist, then we still need to make sure there IS enough evidence to prove a false accusation.

It makes me happy whenever I see pro men’s rights posts like this with thousands of upvotes. Even if people don’t associate with the label of “Men’s Rights Activist” it’s nice to know many still agree with the sentiments.

I don’t really see an issue here. It’s not sexist and it’s a pretty simplified what to explain it to younger kids.

I’m a fan of Rogan so I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Do you think he might have a skewed notion of what an MRA is like. Prior to The Red Pill most reporting on MRAs was about how they’re sexists and misogynists. Maybe he still thinks of them like that, but agrees with them in principle?

I can’t pull an example out of my ass, but I’m fairly certain he’s covered multiple stories about women who have sexually assaulted boys/men. What he covered today was 100% a newsworthy story. EDIT: I can pull an example out of my ass. Here is a video from summer last year of him talking about a male rape victim, and the issues men face when being sexually assaulted/raped.

Yknow, I generally disagree with a lot of stuff I see on this sub. Y’all got me with this one; she’s a cunt.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
