Yes, I'm sure. I still have moments where despite having been sent to jail over a false dv charge. Banned from going to my home country until it's expunged, dealing with the fallout of time in prison or work changes etc and one nasty dragged out divorce, I try to chalk up to ignorance a good many things, however you make an excellent point. I'm no saint I do have days I am very angry at women as a whole

They act that way because they have been told by the people writing the checks to think that way and they have no critical thinking skills for themselves. I try for ignorance over maliciousness but these days that line is getting fuzzy

I would hate to go to college these days. I thought it was bad in the 80s when it was really just getting started. I remember the next Gen down from bra burners and man they were militant. I look now and truly feel sorry for any male who thinks he can make it in college, and for those male feminists and "allies" go fucking piss up a rope, she won't sleep with you no matter how hard you try.

Someone had to teach them... Or some special interest group wanting "equality"..

Yes. Oh you regretted sex 3 months later when your bf found out you were sleeping around.... Must be rape. He bumped into me in the hall. Must be rape... He looked at me funny I need a safe space, must be rape

Of course. We are a constant joke to academia. Just look at the kangaroo courts for sexual incidences, no matter how consentual

Trust me, as my handle explains I am an unwilling expat stuck in the US. Trust me I'd rather be home.

It's not just France it's the same in the US.

You sure we don't share a mother in law. Mine says the same thing because "we can take it" she also thinks Amber heard is right and Johnny Depp is intentionally dragging her name through the mud instead of "taking it and just going away"

No. You will get bombarded by radicals on both sides and the sub will be shut down due to overwhelming complaints from them. You are asking the uncivilized to sit down for a tables civil discussion. It won't happen and if it does it will be a bigger spectacle than wrestlemania

I didn't say it didn't matter. I said we had to temper ourselves to keep from becoming exactly what they describe us as. Less than animals. If we act like that we are no better

I'm not oppose to getting loud, I'm opposed to sinking to their tactics of misinformation, misguided and biased studies and lobbying entire arms of Congress to oppress them. I agree we need to get loud, be heard or forever be silenced. But we have to keep from becoming like them in the process.

I said looks like. Not was. Caution in this game about who is your ally is a real thing. We have dealt with a rash of trolls here and I being knew to here and reddit know nothing about you or your history here. I'm not even sure how to read your post history. So if I assumed wrong then I apologize. I'm not afraid to do that

Lowering ourselves to the crimes and inequities of of our rivals means we are just as poor in character. We are not savage animals like they want to make us out to be. Us lowering ourselves to their tactics gets us demonized further and justified their reactions

On that I wont disagree. There is a lot of flex there. I agree people do that and while acceptable within our genders isn't outside of them. All of that I'll give a solid agreement to. I know a lot of women who use it's a joke as an excuse for badmouthing men. I've seen it in men as well and work to shut it down when I can. It is highly inappropriate as on both fronts it allows a fostering of an overall hostility in general. I'd say personally men do it less because it's less socially acceptable…

That could be and that's ok, just don't generalize and you will be fine.

Well that viewpoint comes from a very limited sample pool I would assume. Most men I know are too scared these days to even make a joke in front of male coworkers only for fears of reprisal and reporting. I've seen and spent time with guys arrested for a joke told. A blonde joke. Her boyfriend a guy in their social circle hit him because his gf is blonde. He hit him back. He did 1 year because he was a second Dan black belt and the other party was deemed too drunk. And that was a joke to a group…

Everyone deserves sympathy. Don't get me wrong there are days I feel like you do. That's why I tried to keep it simmered civilly. I saw you were defending men and how my statement could be taken. For that I also apologize. We are all here together. I am a dv survivor and a former jailhouse male dv victim councelor

My neighbor is an incel due to a horrible facial scar. Nice guy, salt of the earth but has never had a date or gotten laid. Not a hateful person, doesn't hate women, tried to be the best member of his churches volunteer groups. All I can say to critics is get to know a real one. It will enlighten you

It's the low hanging fruit. Feminists for example will most likely only quote feminist literature, mens groups do the same. The splc is a hate group that throws fingers at everyone else for being a hate group. We need to read and understand their research to pick it apart. Not just parrot our own
/r/MensRights30/05/22 06:43 PM

The splc is a joke. Complete rubbish. Yes we hate on incels so they are a hate group when they get angry in return. Same old case of woman hits man nothing happens man hits women or she claims he did man goes to jail. Same story new tactic
/r/MensRights30/05/22 06:01 PM

But they can't do that. Men don't deserve sympathy.... Because we aren't women. And yet they are oppressed.

I'd seriously question your intent and motivation. Could you clarify both please and be aware most of us won't trust you and will see through most crap. Even fewer believe this isn't a troll post. So please, could you do me the courtesy of being open and honest with your intentions in asking?

Thank you. I do try. I don't always succeed. Part of my success was reading stoic philosophies especially Marcus Aurelius and Seneca, mixed with a fair bit of buddhism. It's done well so far and jail is now ten years in the past.

That shows two problems. A radicalized teaching force and lack of critical thinking skills being taught. It is sad to see, but men in academia are frequently pushed out. I remember speaking to a guy who was a high school teacher. He was forced out of his school because even as well dressed as he was he gave off a "creepy sort of feeling" because he was an MRA" Claimed a woman teacher. So they made it as hard for him to succeed and eventually pushed out. So there are many problems inherent in the…

Don't make excuses. They don't work. She isn't a victim of anything. She chose feminism. It is a choice. Many women reject it. She chose to abuse Depp, she chose to embrace radical feminism. Don't take away her responsibility and culpability in the issue. She was at fault. Society didn't make her do it. I heard plenty of that in the can, it doesn't fly here or there. We are all responsible for our own thoughts feelings and actions. Male dv victims support group I ran in prison

How? Numbers my friend. Amount of copies sold, sold plus the almighty dollar times the modern agenda means it gets sold. We are the only group it's ok to offend or demean, and most men are still on their side and would laugh "oh don't get butthurt its a joke" unfortunately jokes like that ruin lives.

I can't say I don't get angry spiteful or spout off things to people who truly push the narrative or try to tell me it was my fault or articles like the men's DV registry in Malta... But I've maintained a zen around most people. Ive never struck anyone in anger but my words can sometimes be brutally sharp and cutting. I'm only human, not a saint.

I put up with an abusive wife for the sake of an ailing family member for almost 15 years. When I filed for divorce she screamed domestic violence, I was arrested despite photos texts threatening emails, suicide threats ifni didnt take the paperwork back, proof of her admitting she used to punch me to make sure I hurt.. i did a year in lockup for not actually defending myself. In prison I reflected and became an inhouse counselor for other domestic abuse victims like me who either snapped or did…

No I know that. And reddit panders to them hence why they can have carte blanche and we get scraps and beaten. Where on the the political scale people are, I don't always know or pay attention to. I know both extremes are bad

I was in a similar case scenario as johnny so this may be my personal anecdote then.. I did the same thing. Reported it. Spent the week in jail under investigation. They let me out. I went to court. After 4 years and more evidence that I knew of. Photos, statements, audio recording, text threats, and her own admission of guilt of striking me repeatedly I went back to jail for a year because her lawyer proved I yelled at her once. So that made it all self defense from her. So to me this story is …

Because in the grand scheme of the world it's who's ass can you kiss. So reddit caters to it's special needs groups. Far left liberals r/communism, r/feminism r/ femaledatingstrat.. and r/anti work are given free reign to threaten harrass. Why. Because keeping them happy keeps the government happy. Males, especially white males are a demonized class in society with minority males almost right up with them. No one cares about us, they care about whatever social agenda is being pushed the most.

No but look at how much Depp has had to spend. And it's not even about the DV, it's about her slandering him. So as far as male DV is concerned it's not helpful. All it shows is if you are going to go after a woman you better have something other than the DV claims AND you best have so much money to blow on legal fees and up to two years of your life available. Most of us don't have those luxuries so... It's helpful for those victims of slander and defamation, but not abuse
