You said it will help attract women and I have not found this to be the case. None of the women I pursued have been attracted to me. No I’m not asking out supermodels these are normal women

3 years of consistent lifting and not one successful date 🤷‍♂️. Also the confidence part wears off pretty quick and you just feel normal.

That is probably your perception of average. Average is by definition the middle of everything that is there.

I learned to wipe my butt, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t come natural to not want to be covered in poop all day.

Higher rates of virginity for men, about the same for women. Isolated people will be more isolated. Average people will only feel a slight difference, probably negative.

Wasn’t the top comment on this thread a few days ago mentioning how men talking about single cat women in their 40s were projecting? Like this is literally that but the women version.

The only, no. But they are of more importance than most indicate.

I dress pretty average to plain. I’m pretty fit and maybe they just assume that everyone is a beanpole or fat neck beard hence the stigma comment. I just never get those looks from guys so idk, your guess is as good as mine.

Q4W: is there a stigma in dating for men with ‘nerdy’ jobs like IT/software engineer/developer? Anecdotally I (sometimes) get weird looks mostly from women when my major is brought up so I am genuinely curious.

I love when people assume that the only reason people are in a drought is cause they are bad people. I’m sure there are no good people not able to easily get sex. Hate to break it to you but the scum of society have no problem getting sex through manipulation and lying. It’s usually the decent people who don’t manipulate and lie that struggle.

All of my friends are well aware that I am looking, so I would hope that if their girlfriends/wives knew someone that was looking as well they would point me in that direction. There are lots of social events, but what I eluded to earlier for the most part the genders are separated. Last night we had one for example, and there was a group of about 25 women in the middle without a one guy. I think the main reason for this is our small groups are separated by gender, and this time is viewed as bon…

I do not think it is a picky issue, I think 30-40% at attractive enough to date. I’m not really that socially anxious, although I’m not the type to ask out random women. I’ve asked and been on dates recently with no luck, but it is just hard to be in an environment where initiating things are encouraged.

How did you do it? Did you have hobbies or a social group that was mixed genders? Unfortunately my hobbies are very male dominated.

I attend church related activities 3 times a week so that is not the issue. It’s weird, but the campus ministry I am apart of is almost like separated by gender. In the two years I’ve been there I have only made one female friend that isn’t a girlfriend or wife of one of my buddies.

No partying or alcohol/drugs + no social media (besides YouTube and Reddit) is a death sentence for dating as a 20yo man, and yet here I am. I must enjoy the pain or something.

Tattoos are not a red flag in all cases, but they certainly can be. I also just think they are ugly 95% of the time. Will likely never get one myself, even tho a buddy of mine does them professionally.

I mean, women like to scoff at that and think it is funny, but how upsetting would it be for a women who sleeps with almost anyone refuses to even look at you? Even if it is obviously their fault and they are doing something wrong, there has to be some understanding with why they are upset right? They do not ‘deserve’ anything, but it’s like the one kid in class not invited to the party, but the party is sex and it seems the only thing our culture talks about.

As a young man who is drug and drink free but single, I would have to agree.

Yes I know, but you can’t just tell cringe people how not to be cringe. Nine times out of ten they won’t change a thing.

There are certainly guys like this, I know a few. But they do not represent all do the guys who are struggling. I, for example, have hobbies and for the most part am a normal guy. No stories about strippers or bending backwards for chicks. I have never been close to getting laid either.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/22 12:19 AM

Step 1: don’t be cringe Step 2: get laid Why have I never thought of this before? Virginity gone!

Let me elaborate a little bit. Men who have no issue finding relationships and getting sex in them > men who have casual sex > men who have issues getting into relationships and having sex in general. The majority (not all) of women would prefer trying to date someone who has casual sex then someone who has no sex. They are seen as less desirable most of the time

CMV: Body language is one of the most important attraction factors that isn’t talked about as much. It is, or is nearly, as important as facial structure, personality(often project’s personality), or body type. (Maybe it is assumed to be lumped in with the others?)

Men who don’t pursue causal sex are often viewed as undesirable as well

I dress very basic and I’m totally fine with my partner as well. I usually prefer that honestly. If it’s not good enough for you then we wouldn’t get along anyways 🤷‍♂️

I do have a social group. None of us really drink. Also almost all are in relationships so no incentives to meet women. I wouldn’t trade them for the world tho

I understood your question as implying that my lack of success is because I assumed women would approach me and I haven’t at all. No I did not expect women to approach me. I did expect at least slightly different result when approaching them, however. This has not been the case so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/22 04:26 PM

Why have you assumed that I have not approached women?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/22 01:21 PM

Maybe, I think it might be more the opposite considering I have had no success

My understanding of the argument is that: Men are more willing to sleep with more women, and women at a slightly lower level than them. Women are more hesitant to sleep with a bunch (emphasis on broadly) of men, and will hold out to sleep with men at an equal or higher value to them. This leads to for example a 10 man sleeping with a 8/7 women, and because all of the 8/7 women are sleeping with 10s, this leaves the 8/7 men with 4/5 women. Slide that all the way down the scales, that also leaves …

The last 6 usually refers to six pack, or just that the individual is in really good shape. Although 6 inches is used sometimes as well

His standards can’t be to high if he is a 1% person. Unless you are claiming he is only going after supermodels which there is no indication of

If what he is saying is true, they he basically can’t have to high standards because he is in the 95%+ so 95% of people would be in his range

5’10 and 5’11 are by definition not short because it is above average. Maybe in your friend group you are short, or you just think you are short.

Yeah I guess. I’m 5’10 tho and I wouldn’t consider my self short at all. So 5’9 is more average. I would consider 5’7-5’8 short so it is a bit of a spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/21 08:07 PM

That’s not that short at all. If you said 5’4 then it would be impressive.

I’m glad it worked for you. It’s not always the case though. I also went from skinny to adding quite a bit of muscle and I have had no results romantically. Love lifting weights and my body though.

Form what I’ve seen around my campus (so roughly ages 18-23) it’s the men more attractive 60-75% of the time. For the relationships I can think of man 8/10 woman 8/10 man 9/10 woman 8/10 man 6/10 woman 5/10 man 7/10 woman 7/10 man 5/10 woman 6/10 man 4/10 woman 6/10 man 10/10 woman 7/10 Which roughly reflects what I see on the street as well. It’s so hard though cause it hard to view it from an unbiased perspective.

No, what I’m saying is a person who has had a lot of hookups is more likely to have hookup in a committed relationship than a person who has never had a hookup is to have a hookup in a committed relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/21 09:15 PM

Yeah but a person who has had 50+ hookups might just think the solution is fucking a new person versus a person who has had sex with 2 people total will probably not jump to that conclusion. Not saying the hookup person would always jump to that conclusion but is more likely to.

Yeah I would rather just jerk off, it’s cheaper as well
